They quit buying organic produce etc. I am not sure how much is actually organic anymore… I used to come here all the time but customer service is not so friendly anymore either…

The smoothies here are amazing! The juices are sometimes a little watered down and could improve but everything always tastes very fresh. I used to come here all of the time but I stopped due to customer service. Sometimes it seems you just hit someone on their bad day, but it was too often and got uncomfortable. Other than the weird mood swings, I really loved the smoothies! You also can add in Prime protein for a small charge which is a veggie based protein powder and it is so guuud try adding it to the PB and Justin or Choco-empowermint. Both of these are off the menu but it is no charge to ask for them.

The smoothies are sooo pricey! I got a small and it was $ 8. I drank it in less than 5 minutes lol it’s just not worth the money for me! Although, it is very fresh! I just wish the size was bigger!

This place is AWESOME! The staff is great and the smoothies are delish! Ask the very knowledgable staff about any of their smoothies and they can guide you in the right direction or even guide you to a great flavor combination you’d never even considered before. The creativity, service and quality of ingredients are amazing!

So today I had my first smoothie from this hidden gem and I must say it was pretty tasty. I tried the seasonal smooth which called ‘gord-gous’ or something like that. It was made with butternut squash, cinnamon, nutmeg, dates, and some more stuff but it was very good. Great little holiday flavor to it and very filling. I look forward to trying some new flavors and keeping you guys updated!

I love big & juicy! I get a drink here after most of my yoga classes. They have a huge variety of juices and smoothies. If you preorder a drink at the front desk you save a $ 1 and they have it waiting for you after class! You can customize any juice or smoothie you want! Their prices are a little high but they use the most organic and natural of products. No juice or smoothie has a water base or is made with ice. You are getting the purest form of all ingredients! The grounded green is my absolute favorite smoothie. I don’t like banana so I substitute cherries and add whey protein. Great for a meal substitute.

I love this place it is just what the doctor ordered after an intense yoga session. They have both juice and smoothie options as well as cold press juices in the fridge. You can also make your own creation but why create the wheel when there are great options on the chalk board? I suggest the Hanna Banana! Delicious.

This is by far my favorite juice and smoothie place in Houston! First it doesn’t smell like total shit like some other places I’ve been to, second all the drinks here are made to order so none of that weird juice and pulp separation and finally great staff here!

I got an off the menu smoothie called the PB& Juicy(?) — add chocolate primo protein. Nailed it. Delicious and pretty filling for a milkshake. Oh wait I meant smoothie. Healthy smoothies. Two scoops of almond butter for the starving yoga students post flow filler makes for a very happy belly. **NOTE** This is a juice/smoothie bar located inside a yoga studio so it’s really best for ravaged yogis after a good sweaty workout. It’s a preference, but I prefer smoothies over juice — ya know, fiber and stuff. To balance my smoothies with some fat and protein to keep me full and reap all the benefits from my workout add some almond milk and chocolate protein(better tasting than the whey IMO). Everyone is pretty helpful with suggestions. Feels like it’s a little pricey, but if you’re starving and substituting for a meal it’s worth it. **IFTHEY’RECLOSED** Big will sell cold pressed juices from that day until they’re out. Cashew flavor… yum yum.

Really? I’m sure the juice is good but unless you have prior business there DONOTWASTEYOURTIME! Google takes me to the back entrance which is LOCKED! Absolutely No parking! I happened to see someone going to yoga and asked about this place and she said you had to go to the front(which is on the feeder of Allen parkway) so I drive around only to see no way to get there unless I park illegally! Next door and walk through the grass to get there. Just trying to grab a quick drink. WTF?!

Juicing has been my obsession for about a year now. I love cramming in all those tasty nutrients in a few easy swigs. Prior to that, good luck getting me to try eating a beet. When I started juicing, I drank Daily Greens from Whole Foods. Yumtastic, but I started getting sick of the flavors and wanted to try newer, fresher, and more interesting combinations. Big & Juicy Juice Bar inside Big Yoga had tasty combinations of juice, smoothies, and nut milk.(Am I the only one who laughs hysterically over that word combo?) I have a juicer at home, but after buying groceries and cleaning the intricate pieces on that darn thing, I always wish I had just purchased a good juice elsewhere. The prices here are a bit steep, but think of the time you save grocery shopping and cleaning. For me, that’s a major bonus. Big & Juicy has many refreshing and replenishing juice combos. They are able to make beet juice taste great, and when your fruits and veggies appeal to your taste buds, it’s easy to eliminate bad/processed foods from your diet. After every yoga class, I just go through the list and try something new each time. I have not been disappointed – they all taste great.

Oh man, this place is awesome. After trying a sample of «run. Yoga. Repeat» juice at a fun run a few months ago and receiving 50% off our first juice coupons, my fiancé and I finally got around to checking it out. And this place was so much cooler than I ever imagined it would be! It was a little hard to find at first since the entrance is on the side of the building facing Allen parkway, but we followed the yogis heading into class at Big Yoga, and once we were inside all of the friendly people there pointed us in the right direction. The lady who was manning the juice bar was incredible. After seeing the menu and freaking out with excitement and declaring to buy every single item, I asked her for some suggestions and she was very helpful. I tried the Chaturanga cowabunga, which had cucumber, ginger, spinach, lemon, apple, and pineapple, and it was pretty epic and refreshing… And didn’t actually taste like spinach like I feared it would! My fiancé had a smoothie called the«go big» which had kale, almond butter, bananas, dates, and some other healthy things. He added some whey protein to be extra manly and loved it all. The coolest part is that you actually see the fruits and vegetables that are used for your drink actually made into your drink. As someone who hasn’t gotten a juicer for home yet, it was a really awesome touch. Everything they have is local and organic, I believe, which us probably what jacks up the prices a bit. For people who yoga there, you can pre-order a juice and it will be ready for you after class! That kind of makes me actually want to do yoga! The seating area is full of cool health books and it has a cool hanging chair that I want for myself. Also, part of the proceeds from one of their drinks goes to support a non profit that one of the staff members started, which I thought was really cool. Anyway, I felt really one with nature and earthy and stuff after I left. We had a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

They say that«everything is bigger in Texas,» and that’s no lie when it comes to two of my new favorite Houston businesses: Big Yoga and Big & Juicy Juice Bar. For anyone reading this that hasn’t been, these two awesome businesses are in the same building, and I recommend paying a visit to both! Thanks to Farrah A for suggesting and motivating me, I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy both fabulous yoga and delicious(and nutritious juice) during my last couple of visits to Houston. Since this review is on the Big & Juicy listing, I’ll stick to the juice: The menu has something for everyone and it’s tough to choose from all of the fun names of juice and smoothie concoctions. Since I couldn’t sample one of everything on the menu, I tried the Fresh Face on a recent visit and I designed my own juice my first time in. I also had a Immune Boost shot… pick your poison from the colorful menu on the wall or check mark your order on the little slips by the register. The service at Big & Juicy couldn’t be friendlier, and such a fun perk that you can order a juice before class and it will be ready and waiting for you when you are done. Love it! Love it so much in fact, that I’d like to suggest you open another B&J location in the Phoenix Arizona area… if you do so, I promise to «go with the flow,» «Shine on,» «breathe easy,» and«yoga. run. repeat.»

My friends and I had gone biking in Spotts & Buffalo Bayou Park and were super dehydrated and looking for a place to get drinks from when we came across Big & Juicy. Don’t expect your juice to be ready immediately, the juice bar typically serves juices/smoothies to those attending yoga classes so it gives them time to make the juices/smoothies. What we ordered: ~ Fresh Face — not too citrusy, good balance of sweetness, the mint makes it very refreshing ~ Yoga Run Repeat — can taste the beet but the fruits balance out the flavor, not too sweet but not too vegetable tasting either ~ Oh Kale Yeah — tastes like vegetables, don’t expect this to taste like fruit juice Tip: Big & Juicy is inside Big Yoga which is not in the shopping center along with all the other stores. It’s on the street over off Allen Parkway.

Fresh organic juices/smoothies/kombucha on tap before/after yoga?!! Yum! I prefer the juices! Highly recommend: I am Unbeetable!!! It’s my personal favorite so far. :) Truly makes me feel unbeatable after a refreshing, hot & sweaty yoga class! This juice is amazingly delicious and you feel refreshed knowing you’re drinking your masticated fruits/veggies. Being a new member at big yoga, I was a little confused at how this all worked. Juices– 12 oz. $ 7 Smoothies– 16 oz. $ 6(I believe, haven’t tried it) ^^ask for their weekly special juice/smoothie Wheatgrass shots– $ 4 Immunity shots– $ 2 – 3? SINFULLBAKERYEVERYTHINGBAR-$ 4(deadly addictive) Various granola bars baked by manager Local products such as kale chips, honey, jam etc. Big & Juicy Yoga Juice Repeat tanks $ 25 and shirts(Oh Kale Yeah & Yoga Juice Repeat) super comfy! Read on if you are also a member: –preorder with the orange slip to get 25 cents off your order and a chance to win it free(you can check the box to pay with card on file or check I brought my own cup) –green slips are to order now if you didn’t preorder, you can fill these out in the front yoga check in or the back at the juice bar and drop it in the box –if you grab the white coupon in the front where you check in for yoga, you can get 50% off your first juice! –buy the reusable clear Big & Juicy cups with straws and the coupon is also inside there for 50% off your first juice –ask for the punch card, they don’t just give it. buy 9 get 10th free If you’re not a member: –parking will be crazy, it’s in the back hallway past all the yoga check ins craze –ask for a punch card –there’s benches, cushions, swing chair while you wait bc it may be awhile until you get your beverage due to yoga classes/preorders/etc –if you grab the white coupon in the front where you check in for yoga, you can get 50% off your first juice or it’s inside their reusable cups you can buy

Was in Houston on business and found this place. It’s a little hard to find. It’s in the Big Yoga studio, downstairs. I got the oh kale yeah and added spirulina and had some citrus ginger kombucha on draft. Both were really good and only cost $ 11. That’s pretty cheap.

Can I get a big KALEYEAH! Popped in to Big & Juicy after pilates today and yummmmm! I really should have payed more attention to what I ordered. I took the recommendation of the super friendly guy behind the counter. The juice was a beautiful vibrant orange and tasted of cinnamon and spice and everything nice. I loved seeing all of the fresh fruits and veggies that were going in to your drink. I also appreciated that it wasn’t poured over a bunch of ice so when you order an 8oz juice you are actually getting 8oz of juice not 4oz over a bunch of ice. I definitely see this as a new place to grab a quick juice or smoothie. I also will be checking out Big Yoga.

«Drink your juice, Farrah. Drink your juice.» No need to tell me twice, especially now that this new juice bar — INSIDE Big Yoga — is now up and running. Can I get a what?! What?! If you were ever a fan of Becki O’Brien’s mind, body and soul-fueling juice concoctions at Roots Juice, then you’ve gotta see what she’s done at Big & Juicy. Like, I ain’t gonna lie. I damn near cried when Becki left Roots juice months ago — but was thrilled to hear she was working on this uh-mazing project with Big Yoga. Today I had the 12oz Kale Yeah juice with cucumber, celery, pea, lemon, parsley, ginger and — you guessed it — kale. Other menu items: …They also do smoothies, kids juices and smoothies, shots(I swear by the Immune Boost) Drop in and drink when you want, but the RADDEST thing about this juice bar is that you can place an order before your insanely awesome yoga class, and when you get out of your practice — all hot, sweaty and craving some fuel — your drink is ready for ya. Nice and cold. Thank you, thank you, thank you BIGYOGA and Becki for bringing this concept together for yogis and juice heads(the good kind) alike! XO
