Sonic Drive-In

While I find it admirable that they have apparently installed a butcher shop in the back where they kill the cows and grind their beef fresh, the sacrifice in speed isn’t worth it. I don’t imagine it’s easy to make fresh mozzarella every day they sure are proud of their service. After a 29 minute wait our cashier came to the window and said it would be another 10 minutes. I asked for a refund and the manager came back in less than a minute with my food (order was incorrect) and a chip for a free cherry limeade. Thanks sonic!

This place is slow and the food taste horrible my sprite wasn’t even good. I still like sonic just not this location!

You would THINK a location close to lone star college would be better however no such thing. They are SO SLOW you would be better hiring a turtle. I only ordered tea, it’s already made for goodness sakes! It took almost 10 minutes & they really were not all that busy. I went thru drive-​in first-​sat there for 8 min w/​o moving so got out of line. Placed my order-​screen not working so didn’t put credit card in. That took another 8 – 10 min. FINALLY came but not correct order. When correct drink finally got there I had to give my credit card to employee. 4 min later here comes my card. VERY uncomfortable w/​that whole situation. Top it all off they up charged me for a lemon slice in my tea. since when do they charge for that? will NOT BE COMING BACK.

I’m only giving 1 star to leave a review. This place has steadily declined over the years. To the point where they regularly get your order wrong, give you cold food after waiting in the drive thru for thirty minutes. But they make sure to get your money early so you’re stuck there. They also have a nasty habit of saying their ice cream or milkshake machines are broken at night, but its magically better in the morning. Don’t bother at this location, you’d be better off driving a little bit further to the highway 6 spot.
