This location sucks, there isn’t any nice way to put it. I get two things from starbucks, a dark roast or a cold brew. That is all I ever order and neither are remotely difficult to put together. This location has never had dark roast when I tried to order it. Never. Of the few times I’ve tried to order cold brew, this place is a .500 average. Worse yet, the few times that they have had cold brew, it has taken an inordinate amount of time to pour it in the cup, add a little water and ice, and put it on the counter(this, of course, with no line). So, I thought to myself I’ll just download the app and order ahead. Poor life choice. Today, which was the final straw, I ordered on the app. I drove to the store(6 mins from my house) and took a seat near the end of the barista bar. I watched 8 customers walk in, order at the register, and then have their drinks made. After minute 12 and the crowd had dispersed, I walked up to the bar. Exactly 4 minutes later the barista asked me what I was waiting on. I told her and she proceeded to tell me they didn’t have any cold brew and offered me an iced coffee(I realize that part of the issue is with the app). I acquiesced and took the iced coffee, but waiting 16 minutes for an incorrect order is unacceptable. Also, parking is a pain in the ass. And drive thru. .. only if you have a lot of time to kill.

I have tried to hold my tongue on this Starbucks but today was the last straw. I’m a Starbucks addict. I’ll admit it. So I hold my standards high. I moved here From North Carolina and I believe I lived next to the best Starbucks in the world… Anyway. This Starbucks is super close to my house and I’ve had several issues: 1) the mornings are absolutely insane. The staff just stand around and are not efficient. Incident 1) ordered a red eye and watched my cup just sit at the espresso machine for about 10 mins before it got taken care of. Incident #2 I ordered a venti red eye one morning, went inside to order it, and stood there for 15 mins while watching others who came after me get their drink first. Finally I said something and the guy completely screwed up so I just walked out with what he gave me. 2) waited in drive thru line to get a latte with coconut milk bc I am allergic to regular milk and soy. They didn’t have it. So I couldn’t get out of line and just had to drive through. 3) went there agin today and«just ran out of coconut milk» I told them why does this always happen and I wish I could get out of line. The girl gave me a coffee on the house which was very nice. Thank you to the girl who did that! 4) drive thru line takes way too long. 5) went to by holiday mugs. I went there in the morning and the girl told me they had shipment come in and to come back that night after the unpack and restock shelves. I came back and all Of the boxes were still sitting by the bathroom and not unloaded. The guy working the night shift told me this Starbucks doesn’t carry the mugs I’m looking for. I’m sorry but that is a lazy answer. He got the manager and she found them for me. I’ve given this Starbucks so many chances. Sad thing is I will probably still go to it but omg please get your shit together!!!

Friendly staff, convenient location. But the place is dirty on the front of house. Dusty shelves, crumbs in corners and in food cases, boxes stacked haphazardly in the corner. If the forward facing areas are this dirty, I would hate to see what’s behind the counter. We only ordered packed items.

This location really needs to get their sh*t together. They are completely overstaffed and continue to take 5x the time it normally takes other Starbucks to make your coffee. Management — wake up. ### (Update) I just popped in to grab a quick(*cough cough*) coffee. As I was waiting, the WISER, OUTSPOKEN man right before me asked to speak to management after his 3 second cup of coffee was nearing the 5 min mark. He perfectly articulated his feelings by labeling the staff as «apathetic», which is exactly what they are(97% of them). After the guy left, instead of using the criticism to be better, the manager jokingly started to tell his staff to be «less-apathetic» and went back to literally f**king up cups of coffee. I chimed in and reaffirmed that the man had a valid point, and to work on it, but was totally dismissed. Not surprised one bit though — this is what happens when you hand out«gimme jobs» to left wing Libtards.

The morning crew is Always nice and courteous… they serve coffee with a smile. The line is always long, but that’s only b/c Americans drinks too much coffee. The afternoon and other off hours crew is terrible. SUPERSLOW! A woman just walked out behind me and the Starbucks staff started to laugh and gossip about her. I get it… you work at Starbucks, but management needs to get it together at this location b/c it’s slowly becoming terrible. I actually stopped coming here b/c it just takes wayyyyy too long and it is always dirty inside.

This is a CRAZY place! I waited for 15 minutes in the drive through, just to find out the drive through was closed. I was stuck between many cars and could not move. Why not block off the drive through? This demonstrates that customers have little value at this location.

Slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been too. Even an online order was a 30 min wait. People want their coffee quick so they can get to work. I try to avoid this Starbucks every chance I can unless you have time to stand around.

This place is just dirty!!! I mean the windows, tables, counter, chairs, outdoor seating, bathroom… everything! Why did I order food here. Ugh. Too disgusted to eat it.

I just moved to the Heights and have only been to the drive thru but I wanted to give a shout out to the drive thru people! I have been several times and the person in the window is always exceptionally friendly! Especially the one with the blue hair. It’s always great to start your day with a positive happy attitude!

Not only do you spend a ridiculous amount of time in line, they’re so lazy, they don’t even make your drink right. I ordered the largest very berry acai refresher and after waiting forever to get it, its almost all water!!! With the wrong fruit in it! Ugh. I was almost late to work for a five dollar water with 4 strawberries in it! Never coming back here..

ITISPOSSIBLETOSCREWUP A STARBUCKS! This Yale location has managed to do it. I was so excited about Starbucks opening near me, but whoever is managing this location is doing a horrible job. This place is so slow inside and especially in the drive thru. In the beginning I gave it up to it being new but with as long as it has been open and with as much traffic that goes through here, they still can’t get it together. I still go to the location on West Grey and Shepherd because the Yale location is so slow. Management do something… so disappointed!!!

I would be so sad if this was my closest location. I addressed issue with the manager and she said, we are real busy and gave me a very sarcastic«sorry». I’ll never visit this location again.

I come here almost everyday since I moved into the Washington area(3 min drive) because I have not had internet access from my new home for the past few weeks. Most reviews say the service here is bad, which I’ve never experienced. The staff are friendly as they seem to recognize repeat customers. Apparently they get the orders wrong a lot here, and like I said I come here almost everyday the past few weeks and the only time they got my order wrong was when they gave me a grande instead of tall. I’m definitely not going to complain from that. There’s more seating inside than the one on Durham and I-10. I usually go in the early morning when there’s a «rush» but I usually get through the line and get my drink fast, as well as always get a seat somewhere. There is also patio seating but since it’s off Yale and I-10, it could be quite loud. The only thing I’d complain about is that the wifi is painfully slow most of the time.

I thought I’d give this place another chance as it’s very convenient to me when I’m in the neighborhood. Well that was a mistake. First of all the staff were yelling at each other at a decibel level that was painful. Flies were flying through out the entire establishment not just where the door was open when people walked in. This was likely due to the fact that they were liquids in spills all over the place including the counters where you fix your Drink. How in the world does Starbucks corporate allow them to hold the sacred name of Starbucks? That saddens me. I wish I could give this place zero stars and just call it bucks because it sure lost my star. I would’ve taken photos but it was just too disgusting. Needless to say I left without ordering.

The longest lines and wait times I’ve ever experienced at a Starbucks no matter what the time. At 7am, the drive thru line is around the strip center. At 5pm on a Friday, it’s just as long. When forced to go inside due to the line, all the staff is attending the drive thru’s orders. Took me twenty minutes standing there for my drink to finally come out…

Starbucks lovers beware… I’m a huge fan of Starbucks but this is the worst location I’ve ever seen. My drink is never right, and the one time I went into the store I wasn’t greeted for three minutes. After that I sat at the end of the counter for 10 minutes only for them to tell them that they were out of the product that I wanted and they ‘forgot’ to mention something earlier. Disappointed

If you suffer from dairy allergies be extra aware to double check your drink as they team behind this Starbucks doesn’t always pay attention to detail and instead of soy you get milk. This SB is one that needs a very strong leader in so many areas.

Four stars because my order is always right and the person at the window is always friendly. I live close to this one– so, like the logical person that I am… If I drive by and see that there is no line, I go. If I see that there are 5+cars, I come back later. Come on yall… This place is great minus the occasional wait.

Now I’ve actually been in this Starbucks location. Yay! My rating hasn’t changed though, it’s still a very nice Starbucks. Seems newer than others, was very crowded on a Sunday afternoon, the staff were all very nice. My drink was good, as was my cookie. Definitely a Starbucks I’d go back to and maybe even hang out in(if I could find a seat).

I have to say, this was a normal experience for me to be working here… Until the delivery guy wedged the door open allowing the cold to blow in on the guests(I was the third table down and it was noticeably cold). One of the guests goes to close the door, for obvious reasons and the delivery guy comes back to wedge it open again. Upon his next trip, he walks in and says(as he’s pushing his dolly of boxes) «y’all cold like some women?»…no joke. Another person complained, and several of us supported his complaint. They took his information and he will be speaking to the manager tomorrow. Anyway, probably not the review you expected to read, eh?
