I live near here and shop in this mini strip center all the time, yet always just walk right by this store. Not until recently, did I bother stepping in. I was glad I walked inside because Stein Mart to me is like a Ross or Marshall’s but WAY more organized. It’s a budget department store. With many markdowns of name brand clothing. We were able to find a few pairs of shoes marked down significantly as gifts. I will make sure to swing on in each time I make a trip to Target to see what deals are to be had here.

Good prices on Michael Kors, Nine West, Tahari and other designers. I was disappointed that they didn’t have smaller sizes available. A lot of the clothing seems to be more appropriate for an older crowd, but I found a few pieces for work. Check their website before you go, or just pull them up on your phone from their website. When we went they had 20% and 40% coupons available which knocked $ 20 off our receipt. Great customer service.

Where can you find clothes that are different from the usual department store offerings at great discounts? Stein Mart, silly! This store in Meyerland Plaza has really nice, helpful staff and the usual array of dressy, casual, lounge wear items so you can one-stop-shop.(Unless you are looking for a monkey wrench and then you may have to go somewhere else). If you look at their website you can find coupons to print and, unlike some stores, they have stacks of them at the checkout counter for the less prepared shopper. With the judicious use of coupons and sales I saved so much money they practically paid me to wear their clothes.
