I hired this company to put a 100 foot fence up for us. They told us that they used grade A cedar pickets and boards that wouldn’t warp, wouldn’t have cracks, and would have few to no knots. Besides being scheduled and having several delays due to their crew not being available, we still had them install the new fence. We paid ½ down with the agreement that we would pay the balance upon completion. The crew did install part of the fence and took several days to return and complete the installation. There were several cracked pickets and several pickets with huge holes in them. I asked that they replace the pickets that were defective. Before that was don’t the owner of the company, Linda, was continually calling me for the remainder of the payment. I explained to her that the fence wasn’t completely put up yet and that I’d pay upon completion. She was extremely rude! I called the office 18 months later to ask that they please come out and fix 2 of the boards at the bottom of the fence because they were warped. She told me that the warranty was no longer valid and if I paid $ 275 plus the cost of the labor and material that they’d be happy to come out. I asked her to reconsider as the boards are so badly warped that we weren’t able to bend them back and nail them back in place on our own so I think it’s an installation error. She them started screaming at me while I was still talking. I told her I was disappointed that she didn’t want to make an exception to her warranty rule and at least come look at the fence. She continued to scream and that’s when I informed her that I would be posting this review on Unilocal,Angie’s List and Facebook. She screamed that she didn’t care, it wouldn’t affect her business and she didn’t care what an old bitchy woman had to say. She them hung up on me! I’m appalled by her response and behavior. Beware… Do not use this company!!!

Stay away the owner of this business is very rude and the don’t stand behind there work. Buyer Beware

These folks installed a fence and iron gate for me with a remote opener 10 ish years ago. Fence and gate still look terrific.
Recently, the gate operator stopped working and I was able to get a replacement in short order at a reasonable cost. Local and family owned business that can handle any job no mater the size.

The gate itself looked good. The process of getting the work done was not good. Bottom line they left me pissed off and i’m still pissed off months later.
In any event, I was not told when the gate would be installed but I did come home to find the team installing the gate.
The gate was too close to a tree, shrubs and garden and couldn’t open fully. It opened about 45 degrees.
I told the guys to move it back so it can open it 90 degrees and they said call the office and they’ll send us to move it back.
Well i’ve been calling the office for months. Every time I did I got a promise from Phil that he would come out and look at it.
Finally I called after months of realizing I wasn’t getting Phil out and talked to Linda to complain and she pretty much told me to «Do what you have to do», because I told her I am tired of the BS. She said this is the first time she’s heard of this. I don’t doubt that, but that’s irrelevant to me.
Your employee or your team screwed up and you have to own it. I’m not sure if she is the boss.
Lots of companies can install fences. Its the service and the ability to take care of disputes or what a customer complains about that gives you a good reputation.
I will admit that I got pissed off because the first thing out of Linda’s mouth was «Why am I only now hearing about this», why did you take so long to complain”. «I don’t understand».
I don’t want to hear that BS, i’ve been dealing with this for months. Own it. Now you want to charge me another $ 600 to dig three hole posts and move the fence back a few feet for a mistake that you created in the first place.
What I want now is a refund. You can have your $ 1300 gate back.
No one wins here. This kind of service sucks.
