I have never been to a SuperCuts until today and I wondered why I didn’t do this sooner! I showed her how I wanted my cut and was not disappointed. Claudia the stylist was such a pleasant person and thanks to her I love my haircut! Great job

I’ve been going to this hair salon for over 6 years since its location is very convenient for me as it’s close to my job and I pass by it everyday. For the past 5 years I’ve requested the same hairstylist who has done a great job cutting my hair all this time. She’s super talented and when I asked for something different last year she knew exactly what would fit me best. I get a lot of great compliments thanks to her expertise. The rest of the staff has always been very friendly and nice towards me and other customers when I’ve been there. They make me feel more like a friend or family member when I’m there instead of just being another customer. I think when it comes to hair salons and hairstylists, it is good to establish a good relationship with them so that you can be satisfied with their service.

It is always fun to get my haircut with these guys, specially with my thick wavy hair that needs to get trimmed every two weeks minimum. Staff there chit chat with you to try to make it even a greater experience, I always ask and wait for Claudia, who really takes the time to get it right, not just trying to get things over with. I love going to this place, and will keep on getting my haircut done here.

I read the other reviews and I had bad experiences with the incompetent girl that was mentioned. I believe she has been fired as I haven’t seen her in quite some time. The other guys and gals the work there do an excellent job cutting my hair! I understand the other bad reviews but please give this place another try. They take good care of me!

I was a walk in customer today at the SuperCuts near HEB. Claudia the stylist quickly attended to me. Since it was the first time for me to visit I told exactly what I was looking for. She was quick and experienced in cutting men’s hair. She quickly understood what I was asking for and gave a great haircut. I have thick & wavy hair, sometime stylists more experienced styling ladies approach my head with caution and a haircut that I believe should be a simple clean up and trim turns into a long affair. I appreciate that she asked me if I wanted her to use the thinning shears before hacking away at my top. Again, great job and I will be going again.

Watching people walk up to the locked door at Supercuts and leave. Evidently, 900 opening time is more of an estimate. 20 mins late so far.

I have never gotten my hair cut here and I never will. I came here with my boyfriend to get his hair cut… Let me just start by saying that the place feels really unclean. It’s dirty! The carpet that greets you the moment you open the door is filthy(I think the carpet is supposed to have a beige color to it, it looks completely covered in mud and hair.) I would give it a higher rating if the customer service was decent but it obviously was not. First off the girl at the counter had this«I hate my job, don’t talk to me» expression written all over her face and her attitude match it. Disturbing. My boyfriend goes here because it’s the closest hair salon to our house but trust me they will never be getting my money or touching my hair!

Worst service ever. Came in here to get my hair colored. I signed in and I when it was my turn. They told me I could not get my hair done because it was black and long. Rude not only did I wait for 40 minutes but, it was a waste of time. I left and made an appointment with visible changes. I guess super cuts didn’t want my money. Never again will I go to super cuts. Yes I spend some money on visible changes but it was worth every peny.

I got sick of paying $ 60+ for the simple trim + bangs I get for my long hair. So I thought, hey, don’t be such a snob, just go to Supercuts. Feeling very mature and wise and a bit superior in my new-found humility regarding hair salons, I rocked up to this Supercuts with my aunt and signed up for a cut. There were two ladies working that day, one who seemed nice, and competent, and another who was surly, wearing velour sweatpants and seemed frankly a bit odd. I ignored the pit of dread that was beginning to form in my stomach and instead chose to be charmed by the little slice of Americana I had stumbled upon. Naturally, as karmic retribution for my judgemental superiority, Ms Velour was assigned to me. My aunt sat down at the same time as me and happily gabbed to the other stylist, as she is wont to do, and received pretty much the same cut as she always gets. Meanwhile, Ms Velour and I faced off. She gazed at me leerily and falsely cheerful, asked what I wanted. I described a side-swept fringe — the simplest version of which is a basic and staple to anyone who has been taught how to cut women’s hair. She weilded her barber’s scissors and maladroitly grabbed the front chunk of my hair — no sectioning — pushed it to one side, and began to cut in a straight line across my forehead. And here I began to panic — and to try to explain to her how to do her job, without really knowing myself, until at a certain point I decided to cut my losses and run, telling her that’s fine, let’s stop here, that’s enough. Of course, I should have said something. But it was so blatantly obvious I was unsatisfied, and that she didn’t know how to do what I was asking. If she had just explained that she didn’t know how, instead of winging it and hacking away at my hair, I would have only had respect. Instead I paid my $ 13 + tip, and for the first time in my life, cried about a haircut. I learned a lesson. You don’t have to pay a fortune to get a great haircut, but you do have to do your research. If you like playing chicken, Supercuts might be fun for you. Otherwise, if you want to spend less then $ 13, I would suggest buying your own pair of scissors, watching Youtube tutorials and doing it yourself.

Since when does it cost $ 40 to get your hair cut and dried at Supercuts??? I took my 13 year old sister here to cut off a year’s worth of growth and let her indulge in a blowdry and wash, not really thinking about the cost… I mean, it’s SUPERCUTS. It turns out the blowdry alone was $ 20 for a shoulder-length cut. Supercuts is only a deal if you don’t wash or blowdry, but if you want the full hairstyling experience spend $ 5 more and go to a nice salon.
