I first started coming here the 1st month they opened. Back then the place was nuts-​to-​butt packed and sometimes it was almost impossible to get a drink it.
It has slowed down a lot since then, yet still a cool place to have a drink. Even still see people stop in from time to time that use to go there when they first opened.
No waiting for a drink like in the old days, and the bartenders are friendly and have been there for sometime. The drinks are fairly priced as well.
They have a full bar downstairs, with pool tables and darts upstairs. They also have tables outside if it gets too loud inside.

For a Tuesday night it isn’t that bad! Drinks are somewhat cheap, T.V.s are on sports channels, don’t mind the smoke (only 2 people were smoking and they weren’t chain smokers) good music, pretty chill place. Best days are Fridays and Saturdays

One of the few bars I feel comfortable in, decent prices, decent people, good atmosphere. John and Ashley always make our group feel at home and you can tell they like what they do. Its definately more of a trendy hip-​hop vibe but not to the point where it draws a bad crowd. Pool tables on the second floor, quite a few couches, and this makes for a nice hang out spot.

My first and only experience here was from this bachelorette party. I doubt we would have come here had it not been for the bouncer not letting us into Drillers, but I am glad we did come here. It was pretty chill, lots of area teachers hanging out, good room to spread out, I could hear my friends, etc etc. If I lived in the area, I would totally go back. Not a bad place at all!

Swig’s not a bad place, but as per the previous reviewer, I’ve rarely been in here when it’s crowded. Especially during the week, it’s a mellow place to hang out and have a beer while still being able to enjoy conversation at a reasonable volume level.
Bar staff is nice and it has more of a pub feel to it than anything else with a nice patio out front to enjoy the weather and watch people fight over parking.

This used to be a happening joint a few years back. They had a great Wednesday night special with $ 2 beers all night long. The place would get crowded beyond all belief.
I stopped by after work the other night for a beer and the place was empty. The beer specials are long gone, but still not pricey. And I don’t mind getting my drink in less than a minute, but it was depressingly empty in the place.
I had my drinks, watched the Rockets game and chit chatted with the bartender then left.
Go there if you wanna drown yourself in your sorrows, because it’s downright gloomy in there.
