I’ve been with T-mobile since 2007 and am pretty much happy with the service, plans and customer service. However, when I upgraded my android to an iphone, I literally had the phone for hours before I was having issues with an error message about«no sim» after the OS updated. I wanted to check out some accessories for my new phone so I just decided to go to a storefront to get the issue resolved. When I got there I spoke to a rep who was the manager of the store at the time. He looks at the phone, turns it off then turns it back on and still the same issues, then he takes a little device around his neck and pulls out the sim on the side. On the tip of the sim holder was just a tad bit of white powder or dust. So the rep says«oh that’s the problem, the phone has water damage». So I ask him how did he come to that conclusion. He says«because this white powder is an indication of water damage. So I tell him well if thats the case I need a new phone because I had not been around any water what so ever. He then told me that I would have to pay out of pocket for a new one. I mean the phone came around 5p via UPS and then sat on my desk the rest of the night because I couldn’t use it after I unboxed and updated the OS. I was at T-moblie at 10a the next morning. Even though I explained that to him he still insisted on placing the blame on me for water damage. So I left the store without the problem being resolved and had to call tech support only to find out that the sim car itself was the problem. Turns out it’s a common problem. So I went up to the store again, go a new sim and haven’t had any problems. I’m happy with my new phone, especially after waiting years for tmobile to carry the iphone.

I had a problem getting wifi hot spot on my Galaxy S II and took it back to this T-Mobile store on S Main. They processed a new replacement with only $ 5 charge and arrived at my house in two business days. It is now working perfectly. Thank you Mohammad.

Bought my G1 google phone from here a couple years ago. It was pretty easy. I recently gave my friend another android phone I have(I just switched to iPhone). They unlocked it or whatever pretty fast… but they gave him a stupid 4g package so for the first month he was wasting money. The phone doesn’t allow for 4g. but 4g costed extra.

Usually I walk into a TM store and they always ask if I need help, busy or not, but I’ve been here three times… and all times were fine. Last time, the rep. stayed around in my sight to help in need of anything, enough rep. to help around, all customers were being assisted. My son went around like crazy trying to play w/everything, but everyone seemed cool. Service is fine. What I don’t like is that most phones, more of the expensive ones don’t seem to be on like several other stores… I come there to look and test. Its hard to get an idea if I can’t test it out. Although the store doesn’t have a paticularly long line, or barely a line sometimes, the parking lot at that complex seems to be full almost all the time. Tip: Parallel park by Wing Stop.
