Worst Taco Cabana ever! 2^nd time ordering steak fajita nachos & it’s the 2^nd time I have chips, cheese & meat only! Really, you want $ 15/​hr & you can’t remember to add guacamole & sour cream??? I thought nachos came with beans as well. When I called to speak to the manager, the lady that answered the phone said she was busy. Too busy to speak with a paying customer? Wow! This is ridiculous! Not only is the food crap but the restaurant itself is dirty. Flies near the drink dispenser and sticky, dirty floors. If I wasn’t in a bind, I would not have stopped at this location. I’m done. I’ve complained to TC headquarters & they have done nothing to improve this location

I love taco cabana and this is the absolute worst one! I’ve been here an hour and they still haven’t got my order right!

The food is horrible and over priced, the girl who took the order did not know how to explain their product, the chunks of avocado in the guac were green (not ripen enough) will never ever go back! Worst way to spend $ 30.

That stupid recording in the drive thru needs to be taken away. I ordered a large super beef nacho. No where in that order did I say steak fajitas. Then they don’t even put the beans on it that I know comes with it. I also ordered an 8oz. Beans and rice. Didn’t get my rice. Why the hell would I get beans with no rice. Horrible.

Tired of the «go to hell» looks from the people who work here. Tired of feeling like I’m bothering them by placing an order, or in wanting to have salsa with my food. Tired of getting crummy food that is not worth the cost.
Go to the Taco Cabana on Jones Rd. Much better.

Surprise! You thought I eat here a lot because I like Taco Cabana. I have desire to a certain point, only because it’s within my reach when I get stuck on this side of freeway. But if there was another Tex-​Mex restaurant nearby, I’m gone.
I only come here during dinner time. Therefore, my experience is different than other reviewers. The staff is more relaxed. No issues connecting to WiFi. The qualities of my visits are always a hit and miss, so does the food and cleanliness. OMG, they have flies in the dining room.
I know they have monthly special. So I pop in to see what they got. If it doesn’t smell or look good, I’ll hop over the fence to McDonald’s. I can’t wait till Freeway 290 construction is completed.

A regular for lunch. Love the bowls! Delish! Easy in, easy out, fast service. I don’t know if they still charge for extras but I didn’t really care for that. If I like a little extra sour cream with my quesadillas, give it. I prefer my sopapillas soft, fluffy, and warm. Last time I got them here, they were flat and hard like sweet chips. Booo!

The worse ever taco cabana! I wish I could rate this place –1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars! I leave work in 4pm traffic (if you know this area, you know how bad the traffic pile up) to go pick up a chicken fajita cabana bowl to bring back to work to eat while I wait to allow traffic to disperse since I live on other side of town. Took me about 35 – 45 mins to make what’s normally a 10 min trip at best!
Get back to my office and guess what, THERE ISNT ANY CHICKEN ON THE EFFING «Chicken Fajita Cabana Bowl» I didn’t ask for a damn rice, beans and lettuce bowl. How the hell you’re gonna stifle a «brotha» out on the chicken!!! Lol But seriously. I’m Pissed to the MAX! Eff that place!!!

After a long day I just wanted a nice hot meal I didn’t have to cook. I ordered the chicken fajita plate and with a personal chips and queso at the drive through. Once I got home and started to eat it was almost all bad and most went to waste and lets just say the only good thing was the chips and queso. The chicken was taste like burnt rubber, the beans were cold, the rice was not cooked thoroughly and the tortillas was small and raw.

I would like to say I am truly sorry, I didn’t know that customers are a bother to the employees at this Taco Cabana location.
I would love to see the business model, you know the one were you do not need the customers money to continue on.
Confused, not very intelligent, and treat the customers poorly — this location has it all

Waited at the drive thru window for 15 mins and NO ONE was in front of me but 3 cars behind. We drove around to find that NO ONE was working the drive thru window and NO ONE working the kitchen. ARE YOU FRIGGIN SERIOUS and you’re open 24 hours?!? When we went to the front we noticed that there was 2 employees restocking the beers. Called the place to see if anyone would answer…2 mins and no one answer. This place is so DISORGANIZED!!!

I complained to corporate who were attentive. Came back after 3 months. Still horrible out of alot made us pull up and than get of our car to get of order. GO TO BELTWAY AND CLAY ALOT BETTER SERVICE.

Worst service ever. Just waited 30 minutes on our food and there is only two other tables of people in here. Not packed at all and yet they are terribly slow. There was no ice, coke tasted gross, and as I said they never got our food out to us so we left. The condiments and sauces were all empty. Really disappointing.

At 3−19−15 1:00 am Rude and gave me my ground beef tacos without draining the grease out of the meet causing my my bag, clothes, and car to be saturated with orange grease! Terrible service!

Apparently this particular location is doing something right during lunch hours. Because during the evening, this place becomes something else other than a decently well kept restaurant. The condiments table is straight nasty most times I come in there. The pico looks like it’s been sitting there for hours and not cold enough to keep the diced tomatoes in it from looking shriveled up.
The staff, depending on what evening you go in, can be extremely laxed (manager included), and will have you wait to have your order taken. And on occasion, I’ve had to have my order corrected. While this may not seem like a huge issue, consistently inconsistent can be, and is why I stopped coming to this location.

Ordered the chicken Salad bowl. They failed to include the dressing. It was all meat, very little lettuce.disappointing. still tasty tho.

Good for late night Mexican fast food that is a lot better and «real» than Taco Bell.

The ultimate fast food in Houston that I once loved but since Chipotle and other Tex Mex that have come along Taco Cabana has been left in the dust.

The Food here is so good my favorite is the Quesadilla. I have been to a lot of Taco Cabanas, but this one is probably one of my favorite Taco Cabana places I have been to. The employees help you find an order and they make recommendations. This is also a cleaner Taco Cabana, and it looks organized. I am going to be coming to this one more often. I am getting hungry just by thinking of this place hahaha. Well done whoever is in control of this place very good job well done.

Given the prior reviews, I must be getting special treatment at this Taco Cabana. I go in fairly often because I really like the street tacos with the habanero ranch salsa and my husband likes the flautas. We always get good coupons in the mail too, and I will use those without a problem from the staff. The topping/​salsa bar is always well stocked and fresh. I also LIKE eating my food here, and haven’t noticed a problem with the restaurant being unclean. Even though it’s right on the freeway so it’s noisy outside, the patio is nice and shaded.
It’s been stated that the service is bad, but I will atest to just the opposite. I went in on National Taco day to get my free taco (no purchase neccessary) and the nice lady asked me how many tacos I wanted. I said, «Well, I thought I could only get one, since it’s just me.» The lady replied, «Sure, but you’re getting this to go and I know you’re not going home to eat alone. What do you think, 5 or 6 will do it?» Oh yes maam, 6 free tacos will do just fine! She was very nice to me, and the other employees have been as well. Once we ordered 24 street tacos in the drive through, and they started a fresh batch of meat so they would be fresh for our group and gave us a discounted rate on the tacos since we bought so many.
I like Taco Cabana, and I like this location in particular. And apparently they like me too!
