I told Manager this was Pathetic and I was about to Ask for All our money back! This is the worst taco cabana I have ever been to, the service is horrible they are always out of something cheese, bread, etc and the last time I went they served me uncooked rice. Do yourself a favor and never eat at this location.

Everyone should refrain going to this location, unless they change their management. I have never ever seen a manager be less professional than this was, and to top it off, she was the store manager. I will never go to this location again!!!

I decided to stop by this location for a couple of tacos. I used to like Taco Cabana back in the older days, however this was my first visit to one in at least 20 years… I remember now why I stopped eating her. The condiment bar was excessively dirty, the onions were not fresh looking at all. There were two or three employees who were just lounging around not really doing much from what I could tell. The fajita tacos were actually pretty good still(hence the three stars). I will probably give them another try in the future. Although twenty years from now I probably won’t remember to review them. Or my name… Old age sucks Unilocalers, peace!

I only come to this location because it’s on my way home from work. The staff that I’ve dealt with late at night is nice and I haven’t had many problems. I do feel like their food is a little pricey and our meal last night came out to $ 21 but the quality wasn’t that great. We ordered the street tacos and the meat was really light, like pork and it had a different taste. I do love their queso though. They are a little stingy on their salsa, we only gave me 2 small things of salsa for 9 tacos so I had to ask for more. I try to stick to the simple basic tacos, definitely no bacon though because every time I get a bacon egg taco the bacon is still oinking.

This location has the worst service. I have stopped here several times in the am and the staff is never friendly and show no desire to serve their customers . I wonder if there is no manager or the manager is poorly trained.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The girls that were working tonight were so ghetto I didn’t even order, I drove off. Worst service I’ve ever experienced!

The Cabana is a reliable go to for quick Tex Mex. I pop by drive thru for a breakfast taco or lunch taco my one day a week working in Spring. Brisket always calls my name. Tender delicious EVERYTIME! I always say something kind or compliment the drive thru person. They are beaten up all day. Reliable. Flavorful. Accurate. Win Win.

This location has good food but everything else seems to be going down hill quickly. First they took all there outlets from the wall so you can no longer plug in your phone. Then they took away the free wifi. Now the A/C does not seem to work. The giant thermostat on the wall reads that it’s set at 50 degrees but the actual temp is 80 degrees. For the most part the staff is nice but they don’t always comprehend what I am saying. I say I want the happy hour nochos and am asked if I want jalapeños in my queso.(These are not Hispanic people. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Hispanic employee here. English is there first language!) So I say no, just the bean and cheese nochos. So they charge me for quesadillas. I say no I want the doller fifty nochos. So they give me chips and queso with jalapeños instead. Sigh… One day I came in for the happy hour margarita only to find that they forgot to make the mix that day. But the food is good.

Two visits. Happy hour special. It was ok, and will do for a quick beer and a bite. Nothing special, but as expected.

I agree with Eve, I was a bit skeptical at first — my husband and I were out for a late night fix of Mexican food and this was pretty much the only place open(HUGEBONUS) b/c we were starving! The food actually surprised me. It was fresh and delicious — they had fresh cilantro and it wasnt greasy or messy. I would definitely come here again

For mexican fast food; they are good. My food is always hot and fresh. I suggest you order what the place is known for!!! If you want sushi, you go to a sushi place. If you want burgers, you go to a burger joint. If I want breakfast, I go to Denny’s of IHOP… and so on and so forth… Every restaurant offers extras that are not particularly their specialty, deal with it! Taco Cabana is known for their Cabana Bowls and their specials. That’s what you should order. BTW, they have make your own Cabana Bowls so you can mix and match what you want in it.(chicken or beef fajitas, vegetarian and for a limited time until Easter {I think} you can ask for shrimp) Another thing is If I can wait 5 to 10 mins at Jack in the Box, Sonic, or Whataburger for a special order; I certainly don’t mind waiting the same amount of time for Taco Cabana to make my order. They’re a Café after all, even though they do have a drive-thru. Usually they don’t even take that long. Plus they make their own tortillas. Plus Monday through Friday they have Happy Hour from 4−7pm and Lime Margaritas and Domestic Beer are $ 1.50.(I personally prefer the Strawberry Margarita, but that’s regular price) So don’t dismiss them completely because someone was not happy with their burrito.(GOTOCHIPOTLEORFREEBIRDSFORBURRITOS * It’s their specialty*) Just saying… I like me some Taco Cabana for a fast lunch~

Dantes Inferno: The missing chapters… The 7th circle of hell is for people employed at Mexican food establishments who don’t know how to fold a burrito. (drains out both ends, or folded so vigorously two chambers are formed — You just wouldn’t ever do that to a burrito if you’d eaten one before.) The 8th circle of hell is for people who put very wrong, very strange ingredients into burritos (something aromatic«What is this… potpourri?») The 9th circle of hell is reserved for managers who schedule a single employee to work food prep during lunch hour rush. The 10th circle of hell is for whoever allowed three times more commercial development along 1960 than it can handle. etc.
