This was my go to taco place. The staffs are nice and friendly and it feels like home. I always get the beef fajita tacos(5⁄5). They also have this amazing green sauce. However, today I ordered Togo(I usually do and it has always been a good experiences) and it was not good at all. Meat and veggies didn’t look fresh and tasted dry. I’m so disappointed.

I had tacos at the highway six location this morning I was looking forward to some good Mexican tacos what I got was lunch meat for ham in my ham tacos and I got hot dogs in sausage tacos, Took a bite of H horrible threw them in the garbage went without breakfast I rather not eat any lunch meat and hot dogs. I’m a white guy maybe he figured I couldn’t handle their Mexican food in the anyway never going back there again bunch of racist I’m sure!

I’ve been coming here for years. It always hits the spot just right. The breakfast is a great Hispanic breakfast. I love love love the tortas that is what I usually come for, the beef fajita has a really good lime taste to it. Everyone that works here is nice. It’s a moms and pops restaurant so it’s a better reason to come here.

Place looks a little dingy but I like being able to see the cook prepare my grub. The chips are just loaded in a big storage tub, kind of suspect, but yolo right? Head lady in charge not to friendly to my non Spanish speaking self, but sure was happy when I left her that nice tip. Order the Cuban sandwich, awesomeness. Fajita tacos, on point. And the chips were a perfectly hard crunch. Shout out to the storage bend they’re kept in! Maybe next time the HNIC will recognize me and serve me with a smile. Good and close enough to go back for more cheat meals!

I’ve been coming to this place since I’ve been a kid and it has never disappointed. The place itself is pretty small but the food makes it completely worth it. Honestly probably my favorite Mexican food place in the area just it was a lot closer to my job so I could come here more often

This is our go to Taco spot on weeknights! You MUST try the trompo tacos/enchiladas/burrito… whatever, just put trompo in it! It’s marinated pieces of pork that they throw on the griddle. Melt in your mouth delicious! Also ask for the charro beans, come with little cut up hot dogs and ground beef. Comfort food for real y’all! They don’t speak or understand English at all so be prepared, but they will do their best to understand what you want. The waitresses are sweet and they always have a steady crowd which they handle well. Atmosphere is what you’d expect from a great taco joint… televisions playing novellas or futbal on Telemundo, small and intimate but nothing fancy. Love this place! Keep up the great work

The most AMAZING tacos you’ll ever have. They have homemade tortillas and the Barbacoa is my absolute favorite! Definitely go here if you have a craving for authentic Mexican food!!!

This is my go to Taco place!!! I always order the corn fajita with cilantro and onions. I’m in love it the their green sauce, Creamy and spicey. The staff is nice the place is small but who doesn’t like a little cozy restaurant. I used to go to Ruchie’s which I thought was alright until I came here and boy did this place stole me heart lol. The meat is marinated, so much flavor! Must try… You don’t know what your missing out on.

The beef tacos are AMAZING! just the right amount of salt & spices! I’ve lived around this area for about 2 years and never thought about going here. BIGMISTAKE! I tried it before I had to move for university and I regret I never got to try it sooner. Great eatery! don’t judge a book by it’s cover the food is divine!

I got to order in Spanish which should be the first sign that this is going to be a good place(and there were no other gringos in there when I walked in). Tacos are excellent! I had the Barbacoa and the Chicken. It’s all I’ve had here so I can’t speak for anything else but you really can’t beat the price and quality of food. Yum!

My husband loves tacos from here, I would say they are traditional, served with cilantro and onions. I love the torta! The bread is toasted to perfection. The place itself is small with limited-service leaving you to order your food and pick up from the counter. The prices are reasonable, all items under about 5 bucks.

I love tacos, but unfortunately, I don’t go to the areas where my favorite taco joints are located everyday anymore. This little taco joint is located in the strip center next to HEB on Beechnut and Beltway 8. The first time I ate here, I poured out little dabs of the green and red sauce on my plate to taste them(I don’t want to waste it if I don’t like it). To my chagrin, the guy behind the register was watching and smiling at me as I did that, so now I just get the tacos to-go! The green sauce has a pretty decent kick to it, and I prefer it over the red sauce. You order at the register and pick up at the counter and they’re pretty quick. I usually get the tacos al pastor and the fajita beef on flour tortillas. The fajita taco is a tad bit too salty, but still good. You have the option to get them topped with cilantro and onion, which I always get. Good fallback tacos as I search for the perfect tacos in the Southwest area.
