GREAT TRADITIONAL MEXICAN FOOD IN HOUSTON
I love this place, it is not fancy and the price IS right… the quesadillas are good, and the cochinita pibil is fantastic, as is the barbacoa and the tamales are good as well. I have not had a bad thing on the menu. I cant wait to go again. We go here every time we are in Houston. It is a gem.

Highly recommended by a friend but utterly disappointed. Yes, they are huge but they have very little meat or filling. I have always thought a good tamale should have plenty of filling and lots of flavor. Not the case with these tamales. I almost felt decieved. Maybe their other food items are better. Restaurants should never skimp on meat!!!
