It’s Taquerias Arandas what more needs to be said. Good solid Mexican street style food. Fresh and simple.

Have been coming here for a few years and love their tacos. The best pork tacos in town. We order it by the dozen! Prices are very reasonable @ $ 1.99 per taco. Not bad at all.

This place is no good. Service was terrible and they only had like 3 other tables being occupied. This was a last resort for us to eat. After driving around all day. We thought it would be authentic. But not even close, fajitas dry and no flavor at all. Don’t recommend just drive down the street to casa olé.

Just moved back to Houston after 9 years in Asia and I can say it was worth the wait! This is not fancy and we were the only«anglos» in the place and usually are, which is fine by me. The food is simple and plentiful and always good. Not fancy or chain Mexican but streets of Jalisco or Guadalajara. I had the seafood platter which is fried shrimp, stuffed crab and fried fish filet along with rice and fries and some garnish. My hubby had three taco’s ala carte two pastor and one lengua and he as always said it reminds him of the street tacos of Mexico City. Good solid down home Mexican fare that we always enjoy.

The chips and green sauce are a must! I ALWAYS get some to to go when I come. The chips are fresh and crispy. The sauce has a kick to it and is so good. I got the chicken quesdilla today and it was okay. The quesdilla was dripping, I guess from the chicken? My boyfriend got the beef tostada and beef taco. The beef tostada was good but the meat was a little tough. The beef taco was ehhh, the flour tortilla was touch and chewy. The chile con queso was watery… overall it was okay. Would come back to try other things although the price is a bit higher for mediocre quality food. The staff was friendly and gave service with and smile. Restaurant cleanliness quality was good. Not like other small dives or mom and pop shops I’ve been to.

This place is okay. I’ve only had one instance where the food was not as good so I had to send it back. Service is okay, but sometimes I feel as though the waitress care more about tables with higher tabs.

When it’s way to early to go anywhere else. Sure they open at 7am but… They don’t have homemade tortillas. If they are they are terribly done. No carne asada… Bummer. And the Nápoles tacos. Well I’ve had better. The staff is friendly… But it’s not my cup of horchata… To say the least.

One of my favorite taco joints. I’ve tried a lot of their menu but not all food is good. I only get the barbacoa on corn tortilla with onions and cilantro. For under $ 2, this is extremely delicious. You must got for the spicy green sauce. It is one of the most flavorful sauces I’ve ever had, being actually spicy, it compliments the tacos perfectly.

I don’t care what anyone says, I love me some Arandas. The dishes are always flavorful and consistent. Fresh squeezed oj, tacos de pastor, fresh salsa, crispy chips, and chicken breast tortas are some of my favorites. On the negative the wait staff is sometimes not that great.

Always love coming here. I’ve had waitresses who don’t speak English but were perfectly fine with my mangled Spanish. We are always treated well, the food is really good the staff are very attentive.

I’ve only gone here in the mornings. The food is ok, but I go here because I like the flour tortilla’s more than taco cabana… and it’s closer to my job. The service is slow and poor. Today, I waited about 10 – 13 fkn minutes to get my check and I asked 3 times for a fkn to go box. There is 1 short older lady who doesn’t seem to like to speak english. She is the worst. She doesn’t check up on you to see if everything is ok or if you need anything else. There was another older lady there too who is a bit taller than the rude one. Her service was poor too but not as bad as the short lady. The times that I have been there though, I have seen these ladies. There is also a younger lady who works there, she wasn’t there today. But she makes herself more aware of customers and the surrounding area. And due to this, she has better customer service than the older ladies. It seems that the short older rude lady prefers to serve mexicans instead of other races. If she can’t adapt, she needs to find a different job. There is a dude there, I guess he is the manager or owner. I always see him back there doing things. Sometimes he helps the waitresses out. He passed by my table and didn’t say anything but proceeded to talk to the table next to me who spoke his language. Seriously…I find it bad business if you do not engage with your customers who do not speak your language. Learn to speak to your customers. Maybe then you will have more insight of what we really think and give you ideas on what you can improve on. Better customer service is def a much needed change for them. I tip on service. I left a $ 1 for the horrible service I got.

(Indianapolis visitor in Houston dying for some tacos and an agua fresca.) We dropped by seeing how packed the place was and only til after did was realize it’s a local chain. Service was quick, the tacos were delicious. Between three of us we split two orders of 5⁄6 tacos. We had milanesa(mistake! skip it for tacos! Milanesa is only fantastic on tortas), lengua(my fav!), barbacoa(to die for!), and carne asada(meh). Food: 4⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Location: 4⁄5

I always have the Fajita Torta and its always good. If that is what you are wanting go to this place for it. I cant say anything about other food cause i’ve never had anything else. This isn’t a fancy place, so don’t expect it to be somewhere you take your date or anything.

If you are looking for Casa Olé style food this place is not for you, but if you like true Mexican Food the place is awesome. Don’t look for some gourmet restaurant atmosphere, because that is not what this place is about. This Taqueria Arandas has really good food and the service has always been A+. The Guacomole was very good and very fresh, Salsa excellent, Chips warm and fresh, and I have tried several of their dinners and all were very good. The servers greet you with a smile, and it seems like their job is to keep the customer happy, which they do very well… They get a two thumbs up and 5 stars to boot!

I don’t see how anybody could eat here really. I’ve been here several times hoping for the best. But that never happened. I had re fried beans and rice. The beans were water. Like really thin. Not a thick re fried beans. It had no flavor like it came out of a can put into a bin, and like when most of the beans ran out it seemed like somebody just threw water in their to make up for the loss of beans or some crap like that. I don’t know how I imagined that. I’m just saying OK that’s how it felt to me. The rice was hard bits. It tasted like half boiled rice with Mexican seasoning thrown in and stirred. It was really bad. I had tried other stuff like a bean and cheese soft taco that was the same watered down crap in a tortilla. The cheese was greasy. I don’t recommend this place at all. The staff does not speak English well, only the owner so expect to get your order screwed up or having to repeat your order to them more like 5 times. It’s OK on the inside. Their drive Thur is weird because there use to be a menu sign when you went thru… but no they hand you a menu while you sit in the car and wait. More like just driving your car into the building and sit there. Might as well do that because it’s not a fast food drive thru. It was just strange. The whole place is weird to me. What’s funny is I saw a Taqueria Arrandas trailer truck across the street from Kroger down FM529 next to Wendy’s I was like wtf is that doing there? I don’t think I want to try that either… the food sucks. sorry… Then my mom had the nerve to come into my apartment waltzing in talking about«Hey Hun I got you some beans and rice.» Oh yay I’ve been starving. I ask from where. «Taqueria Arrandas!» Oh Joy I’m happy to have watered food again. I tossed that shit out while she was not looking. Not this time, no I will not have a runny ass from bad food again!

Taqueria Horrendous!(yes. it rhymes.) Recommended by what was supposed to be reliable sources, I made my way to this taqueria. I do know with these kinds of places it can go either way. Super awesome, or super not so awesome. I’ve been to many, and I know how great they can be value & quality-wise. I was immediately weirded out by the fact that there was a drive-thru and ZERO, I do mean zero, customers. I will say in their favor that they do pile the meat as far as the Chimichangas are concerned, and their burrito is pretty big. For taste and being a taqueria, it’s a bit overpriced. If I read the above review correctly and there used to be Dairy Queen, then it’s a shame. Sundaes would be much better a treat than this.

This location took over an old Dairy Queen that closed and it is mainly a drive-through. I visited just a few days after it opened and was surprised to see no menu at the drive through, you had to wait until you pulled up. Then the menu was only in spanish, employees acting like they only speak spanish and they didn’t know that I did as well. Not a pleasant first time and I have only been back a few times. Taqueria Arandas locations seem to vary greatly. This one is pretty much a smaller neighborhood type where they want to act like everyone speak spanish even while they know better.
