The tea was yummy but the bubbles are too soft and didn’t have the typical mild sweetness.

Fresh fruit for toppings and avocado flavor for smoothies made me change from 4 to 5 stars. Not a bir fan of yogurt but the coconut had me at hello

Ehhh my experience here was OK. didn’t really stay that long. The flavors were not bad, but I have had better. The people inside were pleasant. THEYHAVEFREEWIFI! lol I love free wifi! Parking can be a pain if you go on a busy day though, because it’s located in a shopping center.

Not a great variety of toppings and small place. Can’t really hang out relax and enjoy your treat. U swirl in atascocita is much better. Floor was sticky too. Variety of flavors was good and not too bad tasting.

Product: decent selection of flavors but not too many that jumped out at me. I tried the coconut and cookies n cream but neither really wowed me; they just didn’t pack enough flavor compared to other fro-yo places I have visited. When you get to the counter, you can add a number of toppings. I do like the option to be able to do that but if you *have to* pile on toppings to enjoy the fro-yo then something is lacking in your main product and, sadly, it was. My sister who works in the area and has been here before said she normally orders shakes and she highly recommends them. Venue: not very busy last night but that may have been because it was Easter and many folks may have stayed home after a busy morning & afternoon. At any given time while we were there there may have been another 1 – 2 customers. The tables and surroundings were very clean and I did observe the staffer come by when she was free, between customers, to wipe down the fro-yo dispenser area. Apart from the tables inside, there is also seating on the patio. Parking: there is tons of parking around the venue and additional parking in the garage that’s a short walk down. That comes in especially handy during non-business hours when you can also freely park in otherwise reserved spots. Staff: the young lady behind the counter was adequately friendly and cheery. She was efficient at her job and, as I mentioned, was attentive to the upkeep of the store.

I would definitely recommend coming for the drinks rather than the froyo. The toppings bar is disappointing. There’s not much to choose from. As for the flavors of froyo, not much either. Basic standars flavors. The drinks however are another story. You will be coming back for the blue lemonade. There are small pieces of pineapple at the bottom that gives it an extra kick. Treat yourself to the bubble tea as well!

Unilocal’s grading system is interesting. The alt-text on the stars seems to indicate that I should give this place two stars if I want to say I’ve experienced better, but that wouldn’t really be fair. I don’t think this place is A-OK, but for me, three stars out of five would indicate that it is average. In the competitive, self-serve frozen yogurt field, it is. This is a family owned operation, and the patriarch working last night was very, very friendly. I’m rooting for him. The ambiance is what you’d expect from one of these places. With lots of windows to overlook King’s Harbor, the people watching is spot on. Hopefully they offer outdoor seating in the summer. The price was also what you would expect. Unfortunately, the product was sub-par. The froyo was uninteresting and the toppings were limited and cheap. If you’re used to offerings from places like Chiller Bee or Menchie’s, you’ll be disappointed. Further, their sampling process is more challenging than competitors. Don’t hear me say I believe I’m owed free samples, but samples are the norm is this field. Most places feature collapsible paper cups available next to the full-size containers. It’s easy to try a few offerings by squeezing an ounce into your mouth before committing to a larger selection. At The Berry Bar, you must request a sample cup that is made of unmalleable plastic so you’ll be giving your tongue a little workout to enjoy your bite. If you feel like sampling a second flavor, you must repeat the process(Please, sir, I’d like some more!). Again, this seems like a nice family so hopefully they can make these few tweaks so my family and I can make it a regular finisher for our evenings in King’s Harbor.

I love this place! The staff is so friendly and the owners are so nice. The froyo is great and fresh. The drinks they have are really unique. I love the fresh vegetable juice they offer. Sometimes I’ll indulge in a peanut butter chocolate smoothie if I’m craving it. There hasn’t been a single thing on the menu that I haven’t enjoyed. I would recommend this location to everyone.

Great flavors and people that work there are very nice. Where the toppings are always seems kind of messy, but still good. Just needs to be wiped down and picked up. It seems like they have teenagers working who are very nice, but they don’t want to clean very much. Very good experience and always go back.

I’m not sure what I was expecting when I first came here. From the outside it looks like a fairly good sized place, but my how the eyes deceive. Its a very small place with very limited seating. Again, this is another standard, run of the mill fro-yo places that doesn’t offer anything that makes it stand out. I’m not impressed by their lack of cup sizes… they have 2, big cup and big-ass cup(cause that is what will happen if you choose that size). The flavors are pretty generic, although there was a list next to all the cups that showed the calorie intake of the different flavors and according to that list they have a lot that they offer at different time periods. The toppings aren’t anything special and rather limited. Its good for a quick frozen treat and I did like the looks of their smoothies.

The Berry Bar has really very, very good frozen yogurt! They are in relatively close proximity to another yogurt shop in our area(Tutti Frutti), and for whatever reason, didn’t quite like the Berry Bar as much as Tutti Frutti. I guess one thing is that they did not seem to have as many flavors(or machines) as Tutti Frutti. A smaller establishment I guess. However, their yogurt is really as good as Tutti Frutti, just not quite as many options. They do offer some different flavors than Tutti Frutti does. I have only been to The Berry Bar once(a couple of months ago), and that was when they very first opened and on the same evening as an outdoor concert in the shopping center where they are located(Kings Harbor). Things seemed rather hectic inside, again probably because they were newly opened w/new employees and they were really slammed w/business from the concert. I do intend to go back again when there is not a concert going on there, to see what the experience is like. I will also definitely go back there again when there is another concert at Kings Harbor! It’s a great refreshing treat, and although they will be slammed again from the concert, so are all of the other businesses in Kings Harbor on the night of the concerts there!
