Okay let’s be fair and discuss the good stuff, ordered the bird wrap($ 10) not exactly a lot of money, but a considerable amount for a sandwich/wrap. Chicken, egg, and bacon were excellent, didn’t detect any sun dried tomatoes at all, smoked aioli is wholly unnecessary, something garlic based would be far preferable. My real issue is their menu states it also has tater tots(which I like) mine came with freaking nasty fritos?!? Why? Maybe if you were super stoned or very drunk and leaving the bar this would be okay, but it’s lunch time and fritos are overly salty and corny and more or less dominated the whole flavor profile basically rendering what might have been a very good wrap pretty lousy. Also hate when the menu states one thing and you wind up with something completely different and unexpected, it’s a blatant bait and switch that I don’t approve of at all. People were friendly, food was presented quickly, and other than the fritos it was pretty good, nothing amazing though. Middle of the road, and a little pricey.

I ordered the waffle fry nachos and it was just really basic. I asked if it was a descent portion and I was told«it was a meal» and I was still pretty hungry after eating it. I paid $ 9 and the ingredients were sparse to say the least. I think I can break down the manufacturing process here pretty easy. 1) Throw down a hand full of waffle fries 2) Sprinkle on 2 table spoons of canned tomatoes 3) Sprinkle on 8 croûton sized cubes of chicken 4) Pick up squirt bottle 1 of cheese sauce. Lightly apply in one quick hand motion. 5) Pick up squirt bottle 2 of «ranchy» sauce. Lightly apply in one quick hand motion 6) Serve For $ 9 I feel like I was flipped«the bird». For $ 5 I would still be asking for more.

Firstly, I guess I ordered the wrong thing. Having ordered from a couple other trucks I just wanted a sample, so I ordered the wontons. Chicken, cheese, bell pepper $ 4. Hubby didn’t like them much at all. I wasn’t wowed. That said, the casing was deliciously crispy and cooked to perfection. The filling was a letdown. Secondly, I ordered the sock-it-to-me cake $ 3. It was tasty, tasted a little stale like it was a day or two old, or had dried out in the fridge, but it was nice enough. The taste was there :) Maybe I’ll try the Luther next time, but with the number of food trucks in H-town? You gotta wow, first time, every time!
