Sat for 15 min trying to flag down a server in a nearly empty restaurant. Two servers working disappeared a few times to the back. When they came back I smiled and waved them over they nodded and continued ignored me again. Eventually walked out. Never again will I set foot in this place.

Yesterday was my first and last time visiting this establishent. Our Whole experience was just bad. Our server was extremely inattentive, rude, and sarcastic. She took forever to bring a menu’s and took even longer to comeback and take our orders. I was told they had really good crawfish so I ordered 5lbs. And dont get me wrong they were actually really delicious UNTIL I found a BIGASS dead spider floating in my crawfish juice at the bottom. Needless to say, I was done. The waitress expressed her disgust with a «eeww» and took the tray but left the napkin with the bug in it on the table bc she didn’t want to touch it. My meal was comp’d but I never saw a manager after my findings(Guess she was too busy bartending). This customer service has probably been one of the worst I’ve experienced.

So glad we found this place! The food was amazing, the prices were perfect and the service was exceptional! If you want to watch your favorite sports team this is the place to be!

Fun atmosphere especially during games. Full bar and yummy food. Always great and friendly service. A plus that they serve crawfish during the season. Nice neighborhood bar.

Me and my hubby decided to stop here on the way home from a concert. To me, it looked like a hole in the wall but I was wrong. This small, quaint little place but the atmosphere and staff are so awesome. They made us feel like we were regulars. The bartender was cool as a fan! We will be coming back really soon.

Ive been to the deck multiple times at the request of others. The reviews are very accurate. The parking lot is TOREUP much like all of Houston’s streets so that’s surprising. The inside is very small and dark and most of the service is handled on the deck. It really is a basic place. No frills and almost always dirty. The checkered picnic tablecloths are always in need of a wipe down. The crawfish is the only things good about the place. All other food is pretty bland. The drinks are not the best. I usually try and stick with beer. If it’s flat just send it back and they will try again. The servers are nice this makes going not completely awful. Not very attentive. Don’t go if you are expecting greatness.

Okay, this is a dive(sports) bar and it’s a neighborhood gem. They play all the baseball, football, hockey, soccer, basketball and whatever sports is in season. I’ve been coming here since 2010 and it’s one of those places that you don’t expect the food to be good. It’s actually exceptionally good for bar food and everything is made fresh. Monday — it’s steak night and Thursday, they have chicken wing specials. Happy Hour is from 11am to 7pm Monday through Friday. The drink prices are definitely reasonable and there’s no «pretentiousness» here and there are quite a few regulars(including myself) that come here frequently. When crawfish is in season, this is the place to go and have some. BTW, the parking can be a problem. There is always an on-duty parking attendant/bouncer. And they will tow your vehicle if you aren’t a customer or guest of the establishment. And after 9pm, there is no one allowed in the bar/restaurant that is under 21 years of age.

Went back again, coincidentally on a Thursday. Wings are actually better than I remembered. I ordered wings, my friends had cheese sticks and crawfish. Everyone loved their meal and we ate out on the Deck. A HUGE freaking TV screen and its covered, which is awesome in inclement weather. Its definitely smoky out there, because most of your smokers are dining outside. So that is a drawback if smoke bothers you. Service was fast and friendly. Can’t complain about that. I’ve also been back on a Wednesday for lunch. All my co-workers were happy with their purchase. Its definitely a return to type of spot. Parking is a bit… interesting. If you come in from Fountain View then you are fine. I feel like I need to be in a 4×4 when I’m in their parking lot. Talk about rough terrain. There is a small section, off Fountain View, that is paved. If its not taken and you enter on Fountain View you should be fine. Otherwise, DRIVESLOW you will tear up your car. Parking is free and, thus far, I’ve always been able to get a spot. Admittedly I never been when they were completely packed. I think I said wings were Friday, in my previous post, they are Thursday. Music — pretty much who ever controls the jukebox. Overall — I really like the place.

I went on a Saturday afternoon and was able to sit on the deck. The crawfish were small but seasoned well! 6.99 per lb no extras or 3 lbs for 20.00 with corn and potatoes. You gotta try the frozen jack and coke. Cons: Parking. The place next door has customers that use the decks parking lot. Service: two waitresses for the whole place. Yet I didn’t get water or napkins while eating my crawfish. I’d go back but maybe on a down time. Pros: Crawfish was worth it all. Try this place out because the other food looked great as well! Lots of TV screens, laid back atmosphere!

SAYYYYYYY, do yourselves a FLAVOR(favor, get it? Hehe) and get the crawdads! Large specimens with a whole lotta kick. Any sinus issue will be cleared up for sure after 3 crawfish.

Worst service ever! Words can’t describe! We waited at least one hour between the times the waitress came. Multiple mistakes, cold food… huge disappointment!

The Deck is a sweet local gem with a big heart. There’s nothing special when you walk up, but the inside is the complete opposite. It’s filled with good people, good food, and good drinks. It’s completely down to earth. What makes it even better is their crawfish and wings are amazing. The mudbugs are spiced to absolute perfection with their tasty seasonings. The corn and potatoes soak it all up and taste out of this world. Not too salty… not too spicy. The wings are grilled, moist, and full of flavor. Any dipping sauce is a compliment and really not necessary for these wings. This is a great place to come and enjoy a few drinks and grab a bite to eat. I highly recommend it.

I was unimpressed with the service at this establishment. My wife and I came mid afternoon with only two other tables busy. We ordered onion rings, crawfish and chicken tenders which took way to long to arrive. Considering how slow it was, that was disappointing. Furthermore, my fries were very salty and the onion rings were over fried. My wife did give thumbs up to the crawfish. This is my first time here and will be my last.

Some friends told us about the crawfish at Deck so we gave it a shot… Unfortunately poor service, a few of our items didn’t even make it in the system after we ordered a couple of times. Crawfish were seasoned well, though! Bloody Mary’s looked swampy. Mutual agreement: not returning. Deck, you have a cool spot! Time to give your service some attention.

Every game on… Great for sports and Sunday events… I love the atmosphere. Nice type of feel. Really good food… Not the best but it’s worth the dollar you pay… Some good some bad like any place … They pleased me though… Not my entire party but some people or hard to please… The wait staff was very nice as well as bartenders… Really strong drink… Great thing… Overall I loved this place… Been here lie but never rated to now… Keep up the good work…

it has now been over a year that i have posted a review for the deck on fountain view. first i like to say is that i have been trying different places and still no other places can really compare to the kind of customer service this place has. it seems as the deck on fountain view has really built up there customer based a lot more. even though a lot of the staffing has come and gone, but people like kenny, beth, angela, brooke and leslie are still working there. service is always great. as i said in my last review, they always know what there customers drinks. now it is football season, they actually have put up some really nice 60″-65″ flat screen hdtv’s for their customers to enjoy watching their favorite team win. also the food is still awesome. i usually get tacos on tuesday special, burger night on wed and 45 cent wings on thursdays. i also love there sundays all day import bottle for $ 3.00. i also love there pork chops and chicken fried steak too as well … anthony

I went there for steak night. Delicious steak. Instead of a baked potato, you get corn on the cob and baked beans with jalapenos and pico de gallo. Though you have a waitress, you pick up the steak yourself from where a gentleman is grilling it. Then you proceed to a buffet style table where you get the sides. Service is not that great though. I asked for a box to go and never got it. Don’t save room for dessert as there is none.

Every Monday, The Deck(formerly known as Trey’s) has some of the best ribeye in town. It’s perfect for Monday night football and just hanging out with your friends. The place is pretty laid back so come as you are and just have fun. Service can be slow when it’s crowded which kind of sucks but ordering from the bar helps. Plenty of TVs to watch and people to meet, not to mention the bartenders are usually really nice and knowledgable. The food is great and always ask about drink specials. The nachos, ribeye(monday), and chicken breast are my favs. Don’t expect trendy pretentiousness because this is a place where you can just be you. I love it.
