The Edge Personal Training

If you’re looking for a full body + cardio workout in one 45 minute session, then Tim’s small group personal training is for you. The best thing about Tim’s classes is that he pushes you to do your best, but never so hard that you’ll never want to go back. I really look forward to attending every time.
Participants in the classes range from people just starting their fitness journey to those that attend 6 days a week. It doesn’t matter what level you’re at, it’s never intimidating. Everyone there is very encouraging, which makes for a very fun experience.
A typical day in the class is running the stairs outside for about 10 – 15 minutes, then strength training exercises for 20 minutes, then abs and stretching for the last 10 – 15 minutes. One of the things that Tim does well is mixing up the exercises so that we’re not doing the same things over and over again. Also, he incorporates some martial arts and crossfit type exercises which adds some fun to it.
I can’t say enough good things about Tim’s classes. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won’t regret it.
Edit: Don’t be intimidated by all the pictures of the girls in the classes. There’s a good amount of guys that attend the classes as well!

I was previously signed up at a regular gym, feeling totally uninspired by the treadmill and boring classes. Then I discovered The Edge here on Unilocal and I love it! The classes are small and focused. Some days are cardio based, other days are weight based, so you’re always getting a balanced workout. Tim is a fantastic instructor. He gives due attention. Teaches proper form. He’s also methodical about which stretching we do, knowing most people have jobs sitting most of the day. The workouts never get boring! Tim also teaches different Martial Arts classes (Mousel’s), as well as Women’s Self Defense. Whether you want to lose weight or have more strength or just be fit, there is so much variety offered here to help achieve your personal goals!

I have been training with Tim for years and it has been wonderful. He has a wealth of knowledge which he passes on to his students by varying their exercise routines. I will walk into Tim’s studio after a tough and tiring day at the office but I walk out worned out but invigorated. I highly recommend his services.

I have never been athletic or participated in sports. 2 years ago I was introduced to Tim at one of his women’s self defense classes. I really enjoyed the class and began attending muay thai and grappling classes at The Edge. It was the first time I actually enjoyed working out. The classes give you a real workout without getting bored or overwhelmed. Tim has many years of experience, he is very relatable and knowledgeable about personal training, self defense as well as martial arts. I would highly recommend his classes.
