Over all I think they can improve the way they communicant with consumers. I took 10 minutes to find a professional that can actually help with what I needed. I must said that he was very nice and did the best he could to help me find what I needed and keep offering help. Thank you Allen.

I was amazed by how clean this home depot was. It seems much smaller than the west loop one and less busy, which is great for me because then I can just get in and out and not have to wait in a line filled with construction workers. The staff I have encountered have been pleasant and currently this is my favorite Home Depot in the area.

All of my previous visit to the store have been unspectacular at best. However, my most recent visit proved to be a good one. The manager on duty Jeremy, I believe, was very friendly as was two or three other staff members that I interacted with. I’ll post more comments in future visits. Keep up the good work.

Been coming here for many years and will likely continue to do so(between HD and Lowes)… In general, this location seriously needs to fire about half of the staff that are rude, lazy and obviously don’t want to be there and replace with those that want to work and like working and helping people. I was walking thru a few weeks ago and saw an employee walking around talking on his cell phone and it was very obvious a personal call… Yesterday I went to get a door lock and got a Schlage(sp) lock(to replace an existing same kind) and asked the guy in hardware to set it up to take my existing key which does require special training… I asked if he was trained to work on this kind of lock and he said«yeah, what you think?»… I about walked out but needed a new lock as mine was jamming… He pulled out the tools, rolled his eyes a few times and sat down to work(in slow mo). said I’d be back in a few. He didn’t even look up and acknowledge that… So I shopped around for 15 minutes, came back and he was still working on it… Shopped some more, came back and still working on it(noticed he was picking up pieces of the lock on the ground)… Asked him if problem and he said, no that he screwed up and the spring and some other stuff fell out… I said give my key back, I don’t want a lock that has been been improperly disassembled… He said, no that he would have it fixed soon and I again said give me my key back please… He handed it back slowly, didn’t say a word, just rolled his eyes and looked like he wanted to throw a punch at me… I went directly to Lowes, found the lock and the guy there fixed it up in about 10 minutes and it works perfectly. Will go back to Home Depot, because there are various products that I like better… Just think management needs to monitor and fire the bad eggs especially the jerk in the hardware area… Will raise my rating if ever I notice a change in the majority of the bad employees.

The service at this store is TERRIBLE. PERIOD. My dad decided to order a back door for me at this store. My dad has a habit of swiping his credit card and not asking questions. I don’t. So when he brought the receipt to me I asked him about some of the items on it and he didn’t know what they were. So I decided to go across the street to the store to ask them. Mind you, this was on a Saturday. My dad placed the order during the week. He said that he is able to find help during the day on week days because the personnel is different. I tend not to go this store because I work full time and the only time I go is in the evenings and on the weekends. During those times you are lucky to find a warm body, much less one that can help you. So last Saturday I went to the store to get some answers. The one person who was willing, wasn’t able(lack of product knowledge) and the personnel at the service desk could give a rat’s bottom. I asked to speak to the manager and they asked could they help with something. I told them I had issues with some of the charges and the fact that we were not credited for the measurements, etc. Ok and? So I was like how about I cancel this almost $ 800 order? Ok, that they could do. So that is what I did and they just didn’t care. I will never spend another dollar there.

These folks are racist against white people. First time I came in, I asked a sales clerk if he would help me when he was finished. He said yes. Then helped 2 black people and one Hispanic. Then went to lunch. Maybe I was wrong. So I bought a flashlight and left. Went home and the flashlight was broken. Took it back to the store within 3 hours and was treated terribly by the clerk. It’s a great place to shop if you are white and don’t need any help. Otherwise hope you are some kind of minority.

The customer service here is on point to me. Every time I have shopped here, I’m greeted, & someone is more than willing to help. I have even had the pleasure of meeting the manager that was on duty. I believe his name was John, not sure. He was a tall, Caucasian male & extremely pleasant. I had a problem with a special order delivery of two of my appliances & he was so helpful. They went above & beyond to assist me. I absolutely love this Home Depot. I have shopped at other ones, but I’m just so much more comfortable at this location. They are just very friendly here.

Highly untrained, lazy staff. As designers and contractors we have worked with never Home Depot locations so we know how efficient and accommodating the staff should be. Roselyn in particular was incredibly rude. Never experienced such attitude.

The Westbury Home Depot is nothing exceptional. Every time I’ve visited this particular Home Depot there aren’t enough employees familiar enough with their department to give adequate advise or information about home improvement. This place is fantastic if you know specifically what you need for your home improvement project. Otherwise I would recommend visiting a Lowe’s!

Home Depot seems to have 3 grades of stores. The ones near affluent homes sell higher end goods while the ones near working class areas are more into sales of building materials. This store is somewhere in the middle and a grade 2 store IMHO. It does not offer tool rental service like grade 1 stores do. Otherwise, it is you standard Home Depot. The store is clean and orderly but the lanes are too narrow. Also, the management seems to go very lean on cashiers. At best one register is open and one person is running the self checkout stations. You can park near the garden center and have speedy checkout there. A HUGE mistake the management made was to allow people to park under the contractor checkout shelter. People backing out and going to spaces while others are loading up their goods is a bad idea. Very recently the driveway on the Westbury Square side has anywhere from 5 – 15 illegal aliens hanging out to get day labor jobs. Nevermind that it is illegal to solicit for work in the streets. HPD and the Harris County Constables Office are turning a blind eye to this problem. Well, at least it is not like on the Gulf Freeway store that has 75+ illegals in the lot of which 2 or 3 will come up to your car and load up your items for a tip if you can not hire them.
