The Hoot is a late night hot spot for Rice students! When studying makes one hungry, thy can swing by the hoot for a nice selection of hot food (ordered from Papa Johns and Chick-​fil-​a) and a variety of snacks! You can buy a whole pizza for $ 9 or $ 6 for a half, they also have ramen noodles and hot pockets for those processed cravings!
They have specialty nights where they offer items like samosas or boba tea, which are very popular! If you come after midnight, there is a good chance the hot food and specialty items will be gone. Also, this is located in the RMC near coffeehouse, which makes it easy to get a Kit-​Kat to munch on with that Kardashian (chaus lingo for pumpkin spice latte). Prices are fair given their monopoly on the market, and students behind the counter are friendly! The hoot is a great student run business, and it deserves a few stars on Unilocal
