Very average food, but convenient and better priced that many other options on the Rice University campus. For $ 6.50 you get a box full of food and it’s better than $ 8 sandwhiches. Also props for using non-Styrofoam containers for the food.

It’s «Chinese» but it’s not… I wouldn’t be here if I had better choice, but truth is we don’t really have lots of choice here on campus… Not a fan but will keep coming back I guess…

I’ll give this place 3 stars for location convenience only. Other than that, the food is a little less than mediocre compared to a full-sized restaurant, but I guess that’s to be expected. I ordered the fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and the beef entrée. The beef was good and would hold up well when compared to any mediocre Chinese place. The chicken was underwhelming, but still not terrible. The place smells great, but the food doesn’t match it quite that well. For a college café, it’s pretty good, especially considering its size and lack of kitchen. And it’s in the student center so that’s a plus too. If you are looking for cheap, filling Chinese food on Rice Campus, then come here. If you’re not on campus, then probably just go somewhere else.
