Actually the result of some neighbors that wanted to beautify their neck of the woods. Its a small park with lots of artwork courtesy of the UH school of Architecture. The creek feeds into Buffalo Bayou and periodically needs to be cleaned of all the trash that flows into it during rainy days. Sign up for one of their clean up days by checking out their site: . The founder/park ranger used to cook hotdogs for the volunteers after a hard morning’s work. For all I know he still does.

Had a great morning walking on the wooded path along Japhet Creek. Very peaceful with the water flowing below.
