This place is inside a mall in the food court near the back. They have a lot of different teas, and they also have fresh juices. I ordered a roasted oolong cream tea press, and it was pretty good minus a few peculiarities. First, they seeped my tea using a tea bag, and then they used a blender to crush ice into it. I asked for no ice no sugar, so i guess that’s why they blended it until there was no more ice left. Then, they put some milk powder in it, blended it some more, and then poured it into my cup. The tea was actually pretty good, better than I was expecting. But then, when I finished drinking it, I found out they left the tea bag in the cup! Wooooow! The cup was tall but the tea bag took up a lot of the space, and the drink wasn’t cheap either. It was $ 4+ after tax. They have rewards here though, so ask them about that.

Large selection of drinks. Their tapioca pearls are soft and sweet. Good sized drinks. Excellent customer service from staff. Will definitely return!

Ordered 2 milk teas, they were so bad we drank a few sips and threw the rest away. It’s super artificial and leaves an aftertaste. yuck…

Specify exactly what you want and keep an eye on them! I was really craving a simple milk tea drink so I decided to order one here. After paying and waiting in line, a worker behind the counter calls me over and informs me that they are sold out of milk tea. He offered me jasmine milk tea instead which I accepted. When my drink was ready, he tells me that they had just enough milk tea left and ended up giving me my original order instead. I looked at my cup and noticed that it was filled mostly with crusted ice and a tiny bit of milk tea. In fact, there was so much ice, it only took a few small sips before half empty. They basically compensated the low supply with more ice and still charge me full price. I really expect this kind of outcome from Sonics, but not here. Whats worse was that I ordered it with half the sugar because their drinks are normally extremely sweet. Instead, I got the usual 100 percent diabetic inducing sweetness. I use to order milk tea with half sweetness at the other Tea House all the time so I know how half the sugar should taste — this was far beyond half the sugar. My teeth were practically developing cavities as I drank. I ended up throwing half my drink away. I normally don’t ever waste food or drinks, but in actuality I only threw away like 3 sips worth. Lastly, why do more and more places use the iPad credit card machines? The signature screen always persuades customers to tip the cashier an extra %15-%30, even though no service is provided. It’s all a marketing scheme to guilt customers to tip with just a simple push of a button. Or, you can avoid tip by physically pressing«No Tip» and feel like a jerk! They do this all the time at Food Trucks and it’s popping up everywhere. If the cashier is polite or helpful, I would usually tip a dollar for a drink purchase. For the most part though, I believe people that people who physically serve and bust their butt such as waiters and waitresses deserves my dime more. Tea House in the Galleria? No thanks!

The teas and smoothies taste very artificial and very sugary. Of course you can ask for no sugar but the drinks are still not very good. Just stick with the fruit tea, their best selling drink.

Who would’ve guessed a boba place in a mall would’ve been great? I ordered the chocolate cream drink and luckily I didn’t get any tapioca with that otherwise it would’ve been hard to drink since the consistency is almost like a milk shake. I’m not complaining though because it tasted so good.

I love the Teahouse at all the locations, but this is the one I love the most! The staff always accommodates my special requests, and I love all the combinations of drinks and sinkers!

Awesome place to get tapioca in the Galleria. Service is okay, but there were a lot of people in line so that may have affected it. I really like the yellow mango slush and the avocado cream. Both are really refreshing. The last time I came, I tried the green mango slush and it had a strange taste to it. Maybe I wasn’t used to the flavor. It tasted more like tamarind than green mango. Definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in the Galleria.

This is located in the food court in the Gallieria. What’s good. –Cream green tea with egg pudding: I asked for LESS sugar and THAT’S WHAT I GOT! Most of the other bubble tea places in Houston disregard my request, but this one finally did what I asked! –With about 2 hours left until closing, they ran out of tapioca, so I decided to try the egg pudding instead. I was pleasantly surprised and it happened to taste good. Next time, I would probably do an egg pudding tapioca combination. Would I go back? sure

Stopped by here while we were shopping at the Galleria today. My boyfriend got his all-time favorite Jasmine Honey Green Tea with Tapioca & I got fresh brewed hot Jasmine Green Tea. The service I can’t say that it was super friendly, but she was not rude. There were not many people in the line or anything, but they are just busy so I didn’t expect any extraordinary service. Our tea came out very fast. Like while my boyfriend was signing the receipt, our drinks were ready. I was a little bit sadden at how fast my tea came out since it was«fresh brewed,» but it didn’t taste bitter or old.

i had the Chai Cream Tea from here with Tapioca and it was good. Really milky and heavy though, I couldn’t even finish the drink because it made me feel full! It had a nice chai flavor and not too much milk or cream as to where you couldn’t taste the chai anymore. The tapioca pearls were perfectly chewy, slightly sweet, not too much ice in the drink, quick, and they didn’t skimp on giving you the tapioca you paid for. So why the three stars??? It just wasn’t the best. But it was nice to have while walking around in the Galleria.

Really, really sweet taro milk tea. I have a high tolerance for sweet, and I still had to dilute my drink. After adding a ton of water, it was actually quite good.

The drinks are good and tasty. However, the friendliness and customer service is not as great. For example: having to wait for the staff to finish texting on their cellphone before they take your order, consistently closing around 8:45 and 8:50(supposed to be at 9:00PM), and not greeting or thanking customers.

Not bad! Didn’t expect much since it’s located in the mall. It was surprisingly good. Paid 4.06 w/tax. Tapioca had good texture. I do recommend!

Among all the tapioca tea places out there, The Teahouse has always been my favorite one! I love the following favors: original, almond cream, green tea, thai tea, coffee mocha, coffee ice cream, honeydew and cantaloupe. I believe they have a total of 4 local in H-town. This one is in the Galleria mall. They have 2 in Chinatown and 1 near the Montrose area. For some reasons, each of them have different free drink promotion. The one in the Hong Kong Market Mall will give you a yellow punch card. You can only use that card at their location. The one that is next to the Wellcome market goes by your phone number. You cannot use your yellow punch card with them. Same thing applies to this one. They at times offer buy 2 get 1 free. I am not too sure with the one over at the Montrose area though. If they have different owners, they probably will have different offers.
