crap, I can’t believe I renewed my lease. This will be my second year living at Tiburon. Besides the staff being rude and incompetent, the first year overall experience was great. It’s been two months since we renewed our lease, and there has been major roach problems. Their pest control is a joke so I ordered some more effective secret weapons online to take the matter into my own hands. The maintenance guys are quick on completing requests but one time they came in to fix something and DIDNT lock the door on their way out!!! Sometimes they don’t even leave notes when they come in and we would have to find out from coming home to the ongoing alarm sound. Anyway, instead of writing out all of my complains, I will list out the pros and cons for you to make your decision quicker. Pros: 1. location — convenient bc there are restaurants/fast food chains around the area, and a Kroger for grocery shopping. Cons: 1. broken gate — the gate into the community is ALWAYS broken so anyone can drive in, I don’t feel safe at all. 2. Roach — Disgusting roaches and spiders roaming around the apartment. I requested pest control twice and there are still roaches everywhere. Never had this problem during our first year of living here though. Mama roach just gave birth bc there are a lot of baby roaches wondering around. 3. unfriendly staff — they have attitude and aren’t very responsive at all. 4. maintenance/pest control — come in quickly upon request but leave without locking the front door or leave any notes. 5. poor/bad lighting — it feels incredibly unsafe to come home late or walk around at night bc there are always broken lights in the hallways and there aren’t enough lights in the complex in general. 6. Noise — I can hear my upstairs neighbor very clearly. I regret complaining to the office bc they actually got louder after I made the call. 7. Unbelievably loud AC — it’s not a big deal but it can get pretty annoying. P. S. there is a Shell gas station that just bought the land across the street. They haven’t started the construction yet but they will soon, now how safe would you feel living across a gas station at an apartment complex with a broken gate all the time?

The apartments are very nice and have a lot of great amenities. I will be moving in soon, so I will give an Update on my experience in the next 3 – 6 months

do not make the mistake of leasing at this place… rude office workers, over charge for there mistake, and they do not want to hear out your side of the story… i got robbed at gun point and they did nothing about hiring a real police officer at the property, check the google reviews befor you move in…

I will compose this review in a list format(in no particular order), let’s begin: 1) Stop with the cheesy parties, mixers, whatever you want to call them! I’ve never been to one of these but maybe I should just peek into one to see if anyone actually shows up… because the constant signage and flyers reminding residents to come is driving me bonkers! 2) Thank God security cameras were put up a year ago or so because the complex was getting pretty«ghetto»…for lack of a better word. It really was, cars and apartments were getting broken into every 2 – 3 months! Now an occurrence happens once every 8 months, if that! 3) Maria, the office manager(I think that’s her position), who started working at Tiburon 2 – 3 years ago, is so freakin’ rude! GETRIDOFHER! She does not know how to speak to anyone nicely. She doesn’t care who you are or how nice you are to her! 4) What is with the new, random inspections?! I HATETHIS! And quit telling me to get rid of my BBQ pit!!! I’m not using it and never have! If you smell smoke, follow the smell and smoke and fine those freakin’ people… because it ain’t me!!! 5) A positive thing I do have to say is the attentiveness of the maintenance guys. They get things done so fast and so well. Go Danny and Will!!!
