Only tried the lunch special but 5.50 for 2 large slices and a drink is a great deal! It was delicious too, I can’t imagine how much better a whole fresh pie would taste. Next time I eat pizza I will order here to try a freshly made pizza

Great place! Fresh ingredients — everything is prepared in front of you with an open kitchen, really nice staff — I’ve been twice and the owner Tony has been there both times, food tastes amazing — their garlic knots, calzones and of course the pizza. They have huge pizza options for that New York novelty fee. And prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Praise the lord. I finally have found some NY pizza here in Houston after 4 years. Do not be fooled by the poor reviews here, they are simply locals or people who have never experienced a NY pie. I have gotten had by Russos pizzeria at 249 a few times– they definitely recycle their slices from the previous nite to the next day and the vegetables in the salads are for the most part(at least when I have been) not fresh — not here. Ill make sure i get here most Tuesdays for .99 slices. Antipasto is legit, and cannot complain about the wings either. Would have gotten 5 stars but it took 1.5 hours to deliver 10 wings an antipasto and a slice. Other than that– native NYers/jerseyans this is def your spot in this area.

Tony’s is #1 for pizza in this area so I decided to go try it. When I got there it was very small and cramped. You can see in a display where they have pizza just sitting out in the open cold. All they did was heat up my pizza and give it to me. The pizza was unbelievably GREASY I picked it up and grease literally dripped into a puddle the size of 2 quarters next to each other. There was barely any sauce on the pizza and it had almost no taste. I am so disappointed I came for a great pizza and that is NOT what I got.

As of this posting I had been searching for a pizza place worthy of what I know as real New York pizza for the 3 years I’ve been living in Houston since spending the previous 25 years to that in… you guessed it, New York. Ya see, us «New Yawkers» are very particular about our pizza and while nothing will be exactly match an authentic slice of New York pizza(sorry everybody else on the planet but it is in the water which is why we have the best bagels too) I must say, Tony’s has satisfied my pizza loving soul to its deepest core and my search for that nostalgic flavor that yearning for a taste of home has been fulfilled.

This spot reminds me east pizza at mom n pop pizzaria… awww man… great eats. Fresh ingredients, flaky crust and the right amount of sauce where it is not soggy but not dry. Parking out front and 5.00 minimum for debit cards. Great chill spot with some friends and plays some table games… I tried the spinach and feta pizza and the supreme… check out the pic attached… I would recommend the pizza joint to anyone in the area

Had a taste for Italian & ordered Alfredo Pizza, Shrimp Parm Sandwich & Chicken Soup. My BF said the soup was bland with too much pasta. Not a fan of the Alfredo Sauce, but the Shrimp Parm was AWESOME… Bread was fresh & crisp, nice size shrimp & tomato sauce was flavorful. And the pizza is HUGE. They offer really large portions of everything. We only ordered the 18 inch. If you’re ordering for two just opt for 14… will probably try them again with a tomato based pizza…

Ordered a supreme pizza, not sure what all the ingredients were. There was canned sliced ham, some kind of beef/sausage, vegetables cut way too big. I read all of the good reviews and was hoping for something better. I guess I will stick with Sarpino’s for now.

I’m a NY’er and this pizza is as real, authentic NY pizza that you can get! The flavors are perfect! I’m so glad they don’t add tons of pepper and spice like some other TX pizzerias do. NY’s don’t eat all that spice! Even the store has an authentic NY pizza shop feel to it. Love this place! Keep up the good work guys!

Really good pizza Excellent delivery. they have a portable credit card machine so that helps not having to give your card info over the phone. Hot wings are the best around! Of course can’t go wrong with a pizza by the slice!

Excellent customer service. Pizza is one of the best. On the greasy side, but that just makes it all the better. My favorite pizza joint by far

I have been looking for good, authentic NY style pizza in NW Houston and this place does not disappoint. This is exactly how NY style should taste. I can’t believe that this is sold in the same category as «BIGPIZZACONGLOMERATE» Took my son there and we played air hockey and Foosball while we waited for the pizza. They have pizza by the slice, perfect for those quick lunches. They have a full Italian menu, but I am not sure I will ever be able to get past their pizza, it’s too good.

The only bad thing about moving out of the Spring area a couple months ago was not being to drive a mile or two to possibly the best pizza place in the area which I won’t mention on this review but I’m sure people who live in the area know what place I’m talking about. I just cannot bring myself to buy pizza from those«big box» places anymore… so onto the great pizza search we go within the next year or so! The last time we lived in this area, I used to always see this place but never stopped by to check it out… well, a couple weeks ago I decided to give it a try! We only ordered an extra large pepperoni because if you want to find a great pizza place, they better KILLIT when it comes to making a basic pie, right? We also ordered the hot wings which my wife loved because they were breaded instead of having a grilled skin kind of feel to them… they’re very hot so that’s always a plus for me, but I just couldn’t eat more than a couple because the breading was a bit much for me! So the pizza is definitely way better than any place in the area and if you place it on your pizza stone to enjoy the next day, it’s definitely better the following day… but i’m not entirely sold on this place so I guess i’ll have to try it a few more times before it move north of 3 stars!

I am a pizza shop owner in Cypress(recently opened) also specializing in NY style pizza. After my customers eat a pie at my place, some of them say«we have tried everywhere for a good NY pizza and yours is the best!» My response to them is always«well then you haven’t eaten at Tony’s NY Pizzeria». Tony has the best pie I’ve tried in Houston. I’ve tried them all and he is the ONLY one I’ve had so far(except mine of course) that captures the true flavor and texture of a genuine NY pie. When I was searching for a suitable location for my pizzeria, I was careful to stay well out Tony’s delivery area out of respect. Great food, great pizza, and Tony’s a heck of a nice guy. Bravo Tony’s Pizzeria!

Best pizza I’ve had in a while. Definitely the best pizza on this side of town. The delivery just took 30 minutes, very satisfied.

Well this place deserves more credit. Prob the best pizza I’ve had on this side of town and its really close to my house. I was bought here by the 99cent cheese slice so I grabbed a friend and we went for it. Kind of sketchy at first! Very mom and pop and has some clutter but don’t mind that! There is a display like window where they keep the«by the slice» pizza. We ordered two slices, a drink, and a small pizza roll for only 8 dollars. The pizza was super cheesy and we loved it. I recently went back to get a to go order, phone service is great. If you come before its done you can watch them roll out the dough, place the toppings, make pizzas and see if come out of the oven and boxed up! The people there a really nice as well. Overall it’s good pizza for a great price.

I usually do not review places on my first visist, but Tonys was good. In fact, it was too good and I almost gave them four stars. It was one of those places that was so good that you eat way too much. So, eff you Tony, thanks for making me fatter. They have daily specials, huge portions, and the service was great. You could tell that if you are a regular it has a Cheers-like vibe. You can play checkers and though small would be a fun place for well behaved children. PS: My wife says eff you too, Tony. She had to use 30 of her Weight Watchers points just on lunch. Great place, highly recommend.

The first time I tried this place was when my office ordered pizza from here for our entire office. Everyone, including me, was amazed at how delicious this place was! This is nothing like your average Domino’s/Pizza Hut; they make big NY style pizza’s. I will say they’re a little on the pricey side, and they’re a little greasy, but it’s totally worth it!!!

My first time to visit this location. It was their Sicilian style pizza that caught my eye. I ordered a pepperoni cooked to slightly well-done. The square pie came out perfect. The cheese was thick and stringy. The crust was soft and chewy. This was a great find as true Sicilian is hard to find in this area of town. The price, all though high, is on par with what I’d expect to pay for a similar pizza in say Chicago or New York. FYI: They also deliver. They have a secure payment method where driver processes payment without your card ever leaving your sight which brings me peace of mind knowing my info is secure.
