Reliable street tacos and caldo. Very good place. Clean and lots of seating. Great prices. I stop here about once a month. Tip: get the chicken soup and a quesadilla. Dip the quesadilla in the soup. Prepare for your tastebuds to explode. Something about that soup and the cheesy ‘dilla mix like peanut butter and chocolate … it’s just meant to be.

Awesome breakfast tacos — definitely recommend the barbacoa + egg, and the chorizo + egg. You can’t beat homemade tortillas! Lots of tasty salsas and pico available as well.

After all the rave and good reviews I decided to give it a try. Extremely disappointed with the thick hard tortillas and bland tacos. They could def use some seasoning. The chorizo and egg I ordered had next to zero chorizo so it was not flavorful at all. I’ll give lunch a try and see if it’s any better. The menudo gets a thumbs up tho but overall for the money, you could get better elsewhere. Staff was very helpful and very nice.

This place doesn’t look like anything special from the outside but you know what they say about judging books by their covers. I ordered the Madero’s Classic and a small Pasole. What I ended up with was a mountain of food, since the Madero’s tostada also came with a soup! All the food was nice and different from anything I’d tried before. My friend, a born and bred Houstonian of Hispanic decent, had a selection of taco’s and swears they were as good as any he’d had before. We will most certainly be going back :)

Went here with a friend on her late lunch break, so we missed the rush. YAY! Even though it has things written in Spanish and the tv on Spanish networks the staff there speaks english and there is no language barrier at all. They are also super sweet and nice, they asked us more than once if we were enjoying our meal and if we needed anything. My friend got one barbacoa taco and one chicken. She states that the tacos were great! But too big! She said it was a lot of food! So order more than one taco if you’re starving. I got one of the werko pack tacos. They were great! I would ask for light Sour cream and Avocado because it makes your food cold and can take over the flavors, but it was still good. The rice could have more flavor but I ate it all so: p They also have a bunch of different SPICY sauces so be careful. I loved it, will be back when in the area! They take card but I think there is a 5 dollar min. Also they close early like around 6 so make sure you are aware of the time!

For starters, great customer service! Walked in and I was immediately greeted by a very friendly gentleman at the register. I stopped by to pick up some of quick lunch. I ordered the chicken tortas, beef tortas and tacos(to share). I was satisfied with the food; it was good /average. But sadly by the time I made it home, the tacos were cold; tortas were warm. The salsa here is AMAZING! They have a few options: 4 different salsas. They are all tasty and spicy. I’ll be back when I’m craving a torta!

Great good but dont come here for breakfast if you’re in a hurry. I put an order in and that came in after me got their orders first. These were all to go orders. Ive had lunch here and it was really good.

Mexico has found its version of Taco Bell. It’s a lil more costly but you know you getting pretty good value. Real crunchy tortillas with excellent meat choices(I went with the special which is white chicken). Overall new and enjoyable experience for those who truly like to try unique ethnic foods.

This is a breakfast /lunch spot that closes early afternoon. I stopped in to try out the tacos. You order at the counter and pick up. similar to fast food joints. I ordered 3 tacos. one barbacoa, pastor, y fajita. They give you a lot of meat in the tacos. I was actually full from two. I wouldn’t recommend the Jamaica drink. It tasted watered down.

I am a food scientist who is also a vegetarian. I had a sandwich that was real good. Toasted with beans, veggies and big chunks of avocado for about 3 dollars. Really good

This place has the best breakfast tacos in the area made with homemade tortillas. We moved to the area about 6 months ago and tried about 5 different places for breakfast tacos… needless to say that no one compared because they did not have homemade tortillas! We order our tacos to-go about every weekend! Highly recommend.

First time here. Very clean, friendly plesent staff. Got the carnitas I belive(sandwich). One pork, one beef fajita. I prefered the beef but both very good. Lettuce, beans, avocado, cheese and their sauces and pico. Will definately bookmark this place to try some of their other meals.

Just tried this place and I’m in love with the horchata! The food is really good too! I got a fajita quesadilla and the beans and rice were good. For a ‘fast food’ place the tortillas are homemade and delish! The guacamole wasn’t all that but I can live without it :) I’m definitely coming again!

The best food everrrrr. Sometimes they get my order wrong since I never order off the menu, but it’s always AMAZING. I love their beans and rice. I could probably live off that alone and be content: D

The chicken soup is delicious the tostada classico was good but it was just a little bland I expected more flavor. The hot sauce added the flavor which was really good. The flavor water was the best lemonade, jamaica and tamarind flavor were really good too.

I shouldve known something wasn’t right when i didnt smell the aroma of the food upon opening the door! I ordered the beef fajita quesadilla and it came with a qaucamole salad and some beans to my liking! How did it taste you ask??? The meat had nerves all through it, Which made it impossible to enjoy. The qaucamole had no taste and to top it all off… I had to dump all kinds of salsa on the expensive plate of food, Which was by the way $ 9.50.The cashier gave me a cup not sure if it came with the meal or not and told me to make myself a drink. I was thirsty after consuming such tough meat! I tried the horchata which is a rice drink and i could taste lilttle grits of rice or some coursely chopped ingredients which scratched my throat… Overall this place needs a reality check asap!!!

Finally, after driving by this place, I decided to try this place last night. I was craving tacos al pastor, which they did not have, but they had so many other good choices! We got the fajita quesadilla, barbacoa tacos, chorizo and egg tacos, and a tacos maderos special. It was the best AUTHENTIC mexican food I have had! Oh and their horchata is the best I’ve ever tasted. Even better than the one IN Mexico. I fully recomend it! The prices were reasonable, as we paid about $ 22 for all that plus 2 drinks and it was pretty quick! The place looks really clean and the workers are very nice and welcoming. I recommend this to everyone who likes mexican food!

Just had lunch over there! I had the classic tostada Maderos combo. It came with a agua fresca(rice drink I got) and a shot of chicken soup. Yum-yum!!! Everything is around 8 bucks — the food tasted great as it filled me up and the price was not bad! I loved all their sauces — spicy but pretty tasty! Great match for the food! This place offers 99cent breakfast tacos! I will try that next time!
