I went in to exchange a toy for my nephew today. I had a coupon in the original bag the clerk didn’t use the last time and I wanted to apply it to my new purchase. The clerk said it had expired and if i gave it to the clerk last time then why did i have it ?! I told her its because she didn’t use it the 1st time around.. It had come with my catalog. Theresa was very rude and had a huge attitude. Its ok if you dont want to honor my coupon but you dont have to be sarcastic and act like a detective on CSI. She was unpleasant from the time the other employee had asked her to help me return the item. She rolled her eyes and dropped my bag on the floor. When I got the new toy for my nephew, she picked the bag off the dirty floor and reused it. I’m just going to stop here…

This is the place to go for Black Friday! I was in and out in less than 6 minutes. Yes, you read correctly – 6 minutes! I was the first person to check out. I knew exactly what I wanted to get, and the items were easy to find. The ladies working the line were amazing! They were so helpful. I haven’t done black Friday in about 5 years because I don’t want to wrestle someone to save $ 20. Toys R Us has made it an enjoyable experience. They provided ads and maps to everyone in line, and if it was unclear where to find something, the ladies working the line could assist. Unfortunately the employees had to spend the it Thanksgiving evening working, but they all did it with a smile. Everything was incredibly organized. I only went for one item(ended up getting two extra), but if I had quite a few things to get, I couldn’t see myself spending a great deal of time here because of how organized everything was. No fighting or drama here.

I usually shop at the Memorial or the Sugarland Toys R Us, but was in the area and needed a birthday present for a friends 1 year old. My daughters and I walked around the store in both Babies R Us and Toys R Us looking for a present/outfit/card. They didn’t have a large selection of baby items or sizes but we really needed a gift that night as it was last minute so we were going back and forth a lot trying to get together a whole outfit in his size when we realized one of the employees was following us. He hovered around us and kept staring at us. I don’t know if he was looking at my daughters or he thought we were stealing but he creeped me out. We checked out and he even lingered there but I don’t think I’ll ever go back to that location. I wouldn’t have even bought anything there except we had something picked out and it was too late to go anywhere else. The store was pretty trashed, too. In fact, the only nice thing was the cashier that checked us out. She was super polite and made wonderful conversation during check out.

Horrible customer service! Came in looking for one item. Tons of employees on the floor but all chatting with one another. Approached one looking for the item and she walked completely past me. I’ll stick with Target for the kid shopping from now on. Not worth it at all.

This is the closest ToysRUs to my house. I would consider this, almost run down. Its okay for major things. but the selection is not that great.

I bought a personalized gift card at Toys R US for my son as part of Santa… since he wanted to go buy some Skylanders himself, well today when we are about to pay at the register… they tell my son the balance is $ 0…long story short is that: Someone stole the info probably of their systems and used my sons card in LA on 12⁄24 @ 8 pm!!! Way to go Toys R US… your ruined Xmas for my son!!! And I had to spend 1 hr on the phone to have someone fill out an investigation form and I still have to wait 3 days for someone to call me! My son couldn’t use his gc and I had to purchase the toys with my credit card… because I could not bare the dissapointment face my son had. I will never purchase from you since this is not the first time I have issues with Babies R US or Toys R US. As they have send wrong and duplicated items in other orders and then used the excuse that because I paid with paypal they can’t refund… or delivered baby shower presents at my doorstep without a box or a packing slip and the box got damaged due to rain. And don’t even start me on the poor customer service they have at 1800 or even at the Katy Fwy location. I pledge to NEVER ever purchase at toys R US online or at any store!!! The worst retail experiences have been with them.

I rarely write reviews and when I do, they’re mostly positive but this Babies R Us is so absolutely miserable, I had to say something. Went today to finish up buying what we would like to have for our baby. First, the lady at the register said I couldn’t have the registry completion coupon even though the 2 others working there knew exactly what I was talking about and where to find it. The registry printer wasn’t working(it only works about half the time I’m in there). The items are mislabeled if they were labeled at all and put back in the wrong spot. Then, When I tried to get my registry printed, the couple in front of me in line was trying to get to a minimum dollar amount and was going back to the aisles to pick up more items to add to their purchase. I asked in what I though was a nice way for the checker(same woman) to print my registry since the one was broken and she practically bit my head off and made snide comments about how«it’s not like she’s in the middle of something». I ended up in tears and as we left the store without getting anything she sarcastically said, «Have a wonderful day.» My husband literally had to lead me put of the store. Never going back.

I would give this place 0 stars if possible. I called last week looking for a Frozen backpack, they didn’t have any. They told me a shipment would come in tuesday so I drove from Beechnut and Highway 6 to this toys r us only to find out the merchandise won’t be out of the truck until tomorrow. A nice female employer called the manager to see if maybe he could access the truck(which to me sounded like it was possible, otherwise why would she say that right). The unprofessional looking manager came and said NO, the merchandise won’t be out until tomorrow, scratching his head and not being friendly ATALL, that’s the manager? Really? Thanks for nothing Toys R Us

Be prepared to wait in line to check out. They never have more than one register open

This store literally had nothing. I ended up going to the one out in Sugar Land. I didn’t want to drive all the way out there, but I also didn’t want to settle for the selection this location had. It’s so small. Would probably be better to just shut it down.

Though the quality of the toys here is nothing like those you can find in a privately owned toy store, they do have a lot of toys! So when you’re looking for you standard toys like Legos, Video Games, etc. this is the spot. I also think Toys R Us has more things for babies and toddlers than Babies R Us, and I prefer it when shopping for them.

This location is old and I much rather go to the newer one on the Katy freeway but this one is much closer to my house so it will have to do! All in all it is a toys r us and they have tons of toys.

I went to Toys R Us last Saturday and was quite fearful because the Christmas shopping season is here AND just the fact that it’s Toys R Us on a Saturday. It’s like going to Target on a weekend. You’re either really brave or really stupid. The people who work there were just so nice and patient. My check out girl was so patient and kept her cool even after I was ***sort of*** a demanding customer asking her why I hadn’t received my $ 10 gift card as part of the promotion. The only way those folks ALL could’ve been nice was because their leadership drove those behaviors. Good job! The store isn’t as ginormous as the ones out in the burbs, but it has what you need. I liked how it was attached to a Babies R Us. One stop shopping for the little ons.
