Wow so we showed up after paging online for boxes and a truck. And they had no record of the receipt for the boxes and no trucks available. Seriously, not OK Uhual

The lady there was horribly rude from the start. She did not know what hitch should go on my car and exploded at the suggestion that U-Haul should be able to determine this. She was yelling at me shouting she«ain’t no mechanic» and even stormed out of the store when I asked her name. She hid in her car! I was alone in the store! She refused to give her name for nearly fifteen minutes and then shouted it at me. I made her call the owner. He came and spoke to me. He listened politely, but did not apologize or respond in any way. As I left, I felt he was not at all concerned his employee was so rude. U-Haul seems to be a good company overall. This location is horrible and I would never refer anyone there. I hate rude customer service, but I hate even more when the owner doesn’t seem to care that a customer was treated badly. This is a horrible location. Go elsewhere.

The key to not having to wait forever to rent a truck: a) Never rent on the weekend b) or on the last few or first few days of the month The equipment is clean and well maintained and the AC/heat in the trucks has always worked. You inspect the vehicle for damage with an employee, so be sure to note every tiny little scratch and dent and also the cleanliness of the interior. Returning is a breeze: They inspect for damage, gas and mileage and you’re off; they will email you a receipt.
