I believe this place is a great place to stay. You do not get people robbing your stuff and creeping on your business. It is a quiet apartment complex and the people in the office are very nice. I don’t think the apartment pricing is bad at all. Anyone complaining is crazy because $ 675-$ 750 per month with water included is not bad at all. Places in the area are more and have bad things happening all the time. Other apartments even have their renters park their cars OUTSIDE of the apartments. At least this place, if it’s packed you can park inside of the gated area next to to the gate. So it’s a lot safer. Overall, I would recommend this place to a young or family who just want somewhere simple to live at a good price.

$ 675 for a one bedroom in this neighborhood, what? Plus $ 20 for water, $ 20 for cable from Wavevision, plus $ 45 for slow internet that is advertised as the fastest in the country. But the agent I met with was honest and said it has never been really fast but its better than basic dsl. The office looks like a Chinese restaurant, I am not kidding. They even have a bowl of fortune cookies.

I’ve enjoyed my years at Walden of Westchase, and not just because of the 100MB internet(nerd nerd nerd). The landscaping is exotic and carefully maintained, the office staff are friendly and helpful(they even remember to remind you if you have a package!), and and the rent is reasonable. I love my apartment because it has lots of built-in storage, hardwoods, a cute wine rack, and full-size appliances. The complex is clean(no roaches, hurrah) and parking is rarely an issue. There’s an internet café above the office where those slightly geekier than I congregate to play LAN games, watch movies, and possibly plot world domination. It’s cooler than the typical apartment amenities, ok? No fitness center, but the pool is nice.
