Public Storage

I like the location of this property but the down is the management. The lady is patronizing. Some managers do a good job but if their people skills stink, then it makes my experience not a very good one. I avoid at all cost the office, because from past experience, management patronizes as if belittling, like she knows more, and that because of this then this is the why, but regardless of your human need it does not matter attitude. Case in point is having to ask for a key for the restroom. If she is busy with a walk in, she will not tell her to wait, but you with the «HUMAN NEED» has to wait until her business is done, you have to tighten your and hope you do not have an accident. No human compassion. Yes. and WE do not forget that argument. Unacceptable. Public Storage as a Company has not addressed that matter or much less improved those relations with customer. The smart thing to do is accommodate because ultimately they would not have a paycheck if customer did not rent their spaces.

So far so good! No complaints. Excellent service, unit was the best we’ve ever had in a non-​climate controlled unit, not to happy about the propriety lock, but Joe Blow can’t just cut our lock now so that’s a plus. Will update if this turns sour.

My wife and I rented a storage unit here during our move. The staff on site was very helpful in finding a unit that met our needs, which was difficult because the property is nearly at capacity. Before settling on Public I checked other storage companies and I believe they have some of the cheapest rental rates, especially early on because of the promotions they run. The property seemed secure but is definitely dated. In the unit we ended up renting the insulation was falling from the ceiling and the light seemed to be barely attached to the ceiling. However, for a short term storage solution I believe Public will be perfect for us.

Walked in to sign my paperwork and get the keys before the movers arrived and was greeted by a nice guy who really enjoys working there. He takes a lot of pride in his work and making sure the customer is informed and all questions are answered. Not a fancy location but all I need for short term storage.

We got free pets with our storage unit here! Furry, fuzzy, scaly-​tailed, boy scout badge-​eating pets! Pets who made my stored furniture unusable!
But hey, the rates here are really low.
(I’ll leave out the story about the time when there were padlocks on all of the inner doors because of security concerns so we couldn’t get to our stuff…)
