Yes, the pharmacy is slow. Like molasses. Like a tortoise. But I’ve never had a problem with the pharmacists other than that. And I have to take a bunch of meds. Otherwise, if you live in the Clear Lake City area, it’s a really great Walgreens to go to. It’s small and never too crowded, they almost always have everything in stock that’s on sale and the cashiers are every so patient with my extreme couponing. Plus, it’s super convenient and WAY safer than the 24-​hour Walgreens down El Camino.

I do not recommend getting prescriptions filled here. They give you very conflicting information then finally refer you to a resolution number. I am paying for everything out of pocket anyway! This isn’t an insurance war. Walgreens wants to try and force customers to get scripts filled at certain speciality pharmacies instead of sending meds out to satellite pharmacies. I don’t have the energy to drive myself in and out of the medical center at rush hour. Also, they do not sell prenatal vitamins over the counter, prescription only. I guess they just have enough business that they don’t need mine or anyone in my treatment category. I will never go back to them to so much as buy a stick of gum even though they are a quarter mile from my house.

Called in to speak to the pharmacy staff about a prescription for my wife. I was placed on hold for 17.5 minutes. I hung up and tried back 3 more times the phone was busy. I called back to customer service and asked is the pharmacy understaffed today and I was slammed back to the parmacy and put back on hold. I called back and spoke to the store manager about training customer service to Listen to the customer. The Store Mgr offered to walk back to the pharmacy and make sure my phone call was answered. I declined her offer as I was too upset.

This Walgreen’s is perfectly satisfactory. Nothing special; nothing bad. Perhaps a little outdated and could use some sprucing up, but I’m sure it will get that, in due time. When I’m in Clear Lake, this is my go-​to Walgreen’s. I prefer Walgreen’s to any other Pharmacy in the Houston area. Great candy selection!

I enjoy going to this location. It is such a friendly neighborhood location. The staff is always friendly & helpful. Pharmacist is always eager to answer questions of a hypochondriac mother. I love the «as seen on tv» aisle!
Walgreens always seem to have a nice sale on those little household necessities!
