This is the most transient Walgreens I have ever been in. The parking lot is always full, the line is always long and the clerks are lackadaisical. The store could use a good cleaning and the staff needs to be a bit more friendly. Each time I have been here, I feel like I need to have my pepper spray handy, just in case… If you go here, be safe-lock your car, pay attention to your surroundings and hide your valuables.

If you have been to other Walgreens stores, it’s ok to disagree with me. The store is 24/7, but the pharmacy is not. It’s best to call the store or visit the website. Being at the gateway to Chinatown on Bellaire Blvd, it has everything, plus more. Outside, you’ll find 2 Red Box machines in the front of store and drive-thru pharmacy in the back. Inside, you’ll find photo finishing, cell phone accessories, quality beer and wines, a very big As-Seen-On-TV section and other common stuff. The customer service level varies throughout the day. There are good and bad times. Daytime during the week is normally better. If you come after midnight, beware of beggars loitering at the entrance or in the lot. Otherwise, it’s a fairly safe place to shop.

If you have seen one Walgreens, you have seen them all. With exception of the newly remodeled location at Sage & Westheimer. This location gets pretty crowded throughout the day. Especially since it sits along one of Houston’s major bus lines. You will get a lot of that crowd as well. I was shocked that this location has a fairly clean parking lot. That somewhat translate inside. Products are neat and easy to find. Employees are rather helpful as well. One even asked me if I had tried a certain product. Little they know I’ve been searching for this product high and low since leaving California. Couldn’t even find it on Amazon. This location is also the only one that carries the razors that Walmart mysteriously stopped carrying. The widely popular Redbox rental kiosk located outside the store seems to always be out of stock. Get the new DVDs and games early. Better yet, reserve them online before you step out. All in all no complaints. Great location and good staff.

Its always nice to have a Walgreens so close. They are very nice when not busy. Not much else you can say about this place.

What can I say? It’s Walgreens. I hate trying to exit from this place… but it’s the closest location to my daddy’s house. The few times I’ve been here, the salespeople aren’t overly attentive. When we dropped off my dad’s prescription, the girl seemed irritated that we dared do it during her shift. When we went back to pick it up, the other girl was much nicer :) When I went in there yesterday, the girl was stocking the shelf as I was searching for cold medicine. She stopped what she was doing and began helping me. I liked that! Normally I get ignored or the salespeople start talking to each other. The girl was pleasant at the register too. Overall I like the one closer to my house because I am like Norm there… everyone knows my name… lol
