Tried giving this Wendy’s a try because I love Wendy’s but this location on fondren total disappointment. Food is either cold, soggy or burnt I don’t get it? They are nice but they never give you ketchup I had to go inside from the drive through because they wouldn’t come back to the window. I would say they are just not trained or they don’t care about their brand!

I use to attend school right down the road from this Wendy’s. Knowing the area and a few visits in the past had turned me off from purchasing from this location. However, by opinion changed a few weeks ago when I was in a bind to get to my destination and needed a quick meal(Thanks Quiznos for not knowing how to apply your own coupon to an order)! I didn’t help that this particular day I did not know what I wanted to eat. When I settled on a baked potato from Wendy’s, I crossed my fingers and toes that my stomach didn’t resent me the next day. Since it was late and I found out the kids meals were $ 1.99 after 4pm, I decided to get one and save a little money. To my surprise, the nuggets were fresh, the fries were hot(without me asking to nix the salt to force them to drop fresh fries), and the crew member was very courteous! Just overall great service! Can’t beat it for $ 2.15, which by the way has a cheaper drive thru tax because McDonald’s charged a drive thru tax(bet you didn’t know that)!

Wendy’s is one of the few fast-food restaurants that I sit down to eat at, rarely using their drive-thru, believing it’s a leftover habit from years past when they offered a salad buffet. But with that idea now extinct there has to be another reason why the dining room at this location is always full; likewise, their drive-thru is not as busy compared to the other restaurants in the neighborhood. So I ask myself, why is this,(As if there aren’t more pondering questions to answer) only to conclude that the food is remarkably agreeable, the prices affordable, and although the buffet is long gone its successors, the Garden Sensation Salads are delicious. This last visit I’m excited to try their new Asiago Ranch Chicken Club, it looks delicious, and hopefully the flavor is up to par. Being a Chicken-Sandwich connoisseur,(see Unilocal profile — Last Meal on Earth) it is tremendously significant that the chicken patty be juicy, if it is not, none of the condiments will salvage the sandwich, essentially tasting like a dry piece of rubber on a bun. Just sayin’. Surprisingly the restaurant offers three versions of the sandwich — Home-style, Spicy, Grilled, but I like spicy just in case the meal lacks. I take my first bite, WOW, the flavor explodes, it is perfectly delicious! The incredible cheese flavor is beautifully balanced with fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The bacon is crispy providing crunch, and the ranch sauce bastes the spicy patty. Truly genius — Asiago cheese, smoked bacon, and ranch sauce boldly accenting juicy-spicy chicken, take a bow. Incredibly my only complaint is the bun, kind of boring, compared to the fusion of flavor it holds. Yes, my question is answered, Wendy’s is worthy of sitting down to eat at for enjoying an excellent sandwich at a great price. Enjoy!

This review is more about the all new Natural Sea Salt Fries Wendy’s recently introduced. You may have seen the ads all over tv. making claims to be better then the old fries. I didn’t care for the old fries. So it wasn’t no surprise when tried these and was utterly disappointed. First off, I like this Wendy’s. Never busy, fast service, hot food. One of the few I have visited that offer all three. I ordered a value meal, can’t remember which one. That’s how upset I was about the fries.(Pics posted on my blog. Link to the left of my profile page.) Don’t know how Unilocal is about posting links in the reviews. The fries were limp, over salted, and the edges had black spots pretty much on every fry. I asked for some fresh fries. The second batch was the same. Except for the fake they were hot. I didn’t see brown skin on any of the fries. I asked the Manager On Duty if indeed these were the new fries. He ensured me they were. He then asked if if I would like to try something else. Told him no and walked out. I did inform him I would be writing Wendy’s corporate not about his location. but about the fries. From what I see around other food boards. The fries are a miss rather then a hit.
