What an absolute pleasure it was to stop in here. My first time and I’m glad it was here. Clean and friendly. Hi to Ms. Shaun and Ms. Levorne. Hope I’m spelling that correctly. Everyone greeted me with a big smile. I like it when employees are happy. Makes me trust a place more!

This is the worst Whataburger I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to several all over Texas. Be prepared for your order to be wrong and to wait 10 – 20 minutes in line.

amazing place — inexpensive, feels like Texas(which after being here 35+ years I’ve only recently come to the visceral realization that Texas is not the same thing as ‘The South’, Texas being it’s own individualistic state and state of mind) and always tastes great! Great shakes, burgers, Monterrey Melt — i order it without the creamy sauce, it’s ‘fine’!! I also always order onion rings here, a little greasy, but an acceptable form and amount of grease, if u know what I mean. Rather have fries from McDonald’s #2 or Wendy’s #1 my son and other scouts also love it, added bonus there

Best sausage biscuits around. I don’t know what they do to their Sprite’s but MAN, it hits the spot — nice and strong.

Everyone, the customer service here is fantastic for how crowded it is, and they can’t help that! Every time I’ve been,(yes i’m ashamed to admit I crave whataburger jalapeño cheeseburgers) the customer service has been outstanding. It is not their fault they have a very small lot, and they unfortunately are the only fast food joint on San Felipe for quite a bit! If anything, the drive thru crowds should tell them, the demand is there for a separate location :)

I honestly dread coming to this location. The speaker system has been in place for over 20 years, the people that work there could care less about what you get and they almost always argue with you when they make a mistake. The last time I was here I asked for them to whatasize my meal. The cashier didn’t do that after the fact that I had already paid for my meal and didn’t even bother to give me the receipt. When they gave me my medium drink and small fry I told them I had ordered my meal whatasized. The manager said that they couldn’t do anything because I had already paid. I looked at her like she was crazy. One of the employees saw I was mad and she gave me a Extra Large Drink and a large fry free of charge. That was the only nice thing that has happened since I was there. I highly recommend avoiding this location at all cost’s unless you just absolutely need some food. I’m hypoglycemic so I know how that is. If you need a burger or something else just go to Five Guys Burgers And Fries which is right around the corner which has the best burgers around and costs the same.

I live around the corner from this Whataburger. Tonight is definitely the last time I’ll visit this place. The guy taking the drive thru orders was incredibly rude, and not in a «I’m hangry so I think everyone’s rude» way. The Hispanic kid delivering food orders at the drive thru was cool. I was slightly annoyed but then became totally annoyed and shocked when I noticed the black guy who was taking orders rolling his eyes at the person he was currently taking an order from over the intercom ANDTHENPRESIDES to call her a not so nice term that rhymes with«stupid ditch» after he turned his Janet Jackson mic thing off. What?! I’ve lived in the area for two years and noticed the steady decline in service. Bummer. I’ll go get my fast food kick off Westheimer from now on.

Wow. The service is so so so slow here. Especially in the drive-through and strangely enough, even if you are the only car ordering. I get that they make everything to order, but are they so slow because they have to the grocery store each time I come through? When you finally get up to the window, you get someone who is even slower with getting your change and food back to you. Also, careful with the sharp turns in the drive-thru. My hubcaps are scraped the 2 times that I had forgotten about this. The food is ok, but unfortunately the slow service is what I remember most.

I’ve only been here for breakfast and used the drive through, so this review is based on that experience. The line in the drive through is always super long in the mornings. They usually have someone outside forming two lines to deliver the orders. When ordering, they seem to rush you because it’s so busy. There’s been many times when I’ve had to repeat my order several times and it still wasn’t right. I understand that you’re trying to move the line, but trust me when I say the line will move faster if you slow down, and get the order correct. I need a chicken biscuit with NO honey butter sauce. Thank you. Overall, they get the job done and you can move through the drive through in about 8 minutes max. I’m usually out in about 5 minutes, which is great for the amount of traffic that pulls through here every morning. Great place to stop on the way to work to grab breakfast. The taquitos are the best! Always perfect. Go get one!

THEEEEEEEWORST wartabugger of age now trust ive been coming here for awhile onNedly offEdly [on n off] and they almost always leave me mouthside up. the last burger was the driest saltiest smack of crap EVER. When i first went when i moved in I quite recall the burger being COLD. Ive pulled up at 2am and staring at Lord knows WHAT kinda transaction going on at the window, they couldnt even be bothered to answer the telecom thing… after enough agitation I just pulled off and told myself thats what i GOT for fiending nasty mid sleep munchies. theyre not like rude or anything just COMFORTABLE. too comfortable, simply unbothered I guess cause the line is always rotating. well chimney rock is Authentic so you guys can kuff it up your nethers. naddamean? Doesnt even taste fresh. and the lintballs think theyre uppercrust by way of location. keep thinkin hard. One of such had the brights to schedule a break as I made my exit clearly to inspect my wheels cause I had a scarf on like a vato… was sorry to crush the kid and his lumped lineage.

The people that work here act so hostile towards customers. It’s extremely uncomfortable to interact with them. I tried to ask the cashier how he was doing and he just stared at me waiting for me to order. I repeated the question, still no answer. Then I said #13 and he began typing on the register to put my order in. I would rate this 2 stars, but the soda was all flat. Gross!

Gravely disappointed. And i usually LOVE whataburger :-( This particular whataburger’s drive-thru is set up all weird. First i had to wait ten minutes behind a car whose driver was being flirted with by the window guy only to find out that i have to drive all around the restaurant to come to the front of the building to place my order. Finally once i find my way over to the elusive ordering speaker, the guy cant understand a word im saying and i cant understand a word of his cuz he is too busy having a laugh-out-loud conversation with his mates. I make my way back to the original window i started off at and place my order. Whatasize my meals and pay them good money for triple-meat burgers, all the while hearing about the bra size of the previous customer. Lo and behold my order is wrong. All mediums, wrong drinks, the whole nine. This guy was so distracted by the boner the previous customer gave him that it completely stopped bloodflow to his brain therefore prevented him from paying attention to a single word i said. I will not give this location another shot. After a 45 minute wait and wasting so much money and not get any service or quantity of food is unacceptable, and im all for second chances but not from this level of unprofessionalism and incompetency.

Yep, it’s Whataburger and yep, it gets four stars. No, it isn’t the best burger joint BUT it is my favorite drive-thru(over Beck’s). As of yet no other fast food joint beats Whataburger’s delicious salty patty, or offers such an incredibly delicious chicken tender basket that brings me back to the high school lunch line. This particular location is close to my house and I visit often… when my daughter begs me to stop through, when my boyfriend comes home late from his boys’ night out and doesn’t listen when I try to convince him he really doesn’t want/need that triple combo meal at 3am(he always says ‘you were right’ the next morning. :-|), orrr when I say %$&^%& it and give in to the #1 with cheese(and a diet coke of course. What?) The ladies and gents in the drive-thru are always quick, always super friendly and in good spirits, and always get my order right. ****

They quit serving breakfast at 11 am on Saturday instead of the 11:30 time widely available from anecdotal evidence on the internets. This Southern aggression against breakfast foods will not stand, these colors do not run.

Sometimes the drive thru lines are long at night but I think that maybe all Whataburgers. Never had problems with my orders and aren’t stingy with the fancy ketchup. Favs: –All the taquitos –Chicken Strips and now they have chicken bites –Whataburger with cheese and jalapenos

Grilled Chicken Salad: 3⁄5 — The chicken was overcooked & too tough to cut w/a plastic knife. The fat free ranch was no good. The low fat vinaigrette is much better. Service: 3⁄5 Ambiance: 2⁄5

I don’t usually give anything above 3 stars for chain fast food restaurants but this particular one has my attention. Apart from the 60’s music that I love to hear while eating the crew in fact are attentive coming around and asking if everything is ok or if I needed anything. I can’t even get this much attention in regular restaurants that DO have servers let alone Asian restaurants. The a/c runs very cold in here because I had icicles on my nose when I finally walked out of here. I had the chicken sandwich, it was a bit disappointing because it was a little small, a little on the soggy side and lacked something that I could not put my finger on but everything that happened around this down the hatchery improved the ratings. I have since then been relocated to downtown and unfortunately will probably not be back to this one but I have one word to the manager and crew, keep up the good work!

ok, again… traveling… on a budget… tried the steak sauce burger which was pretty greasy even if you are in the mood for greasy, and I’d say the same thing about the onion rings. Now, keep in mind that the medium in Texas is like the supersized size in California. I liked the honey biscuit better on my last trip to Texas. But what saved my trip was the chocolate pie and the strawberry pie. I took them to go for a snack on the road. The crust was flaky and good, The strawberry filling was delicious, and at a later time, the chocolate filling was wonderful. They are only available for a limited time. And, I just have to say… LUCKYTEXANS!!!
