Whataburger

Leaving Texas with a friend, driving back to the airport. My buddy shouts out lets go to Whataburger… I’m always game for burgers so I yank out the Unilocal out and it leads me to this… shall I say very unique location of Whataburger.
I love their food: great burgers, great fries… their chicken sandwiches looked really good. Their menu is pretty varied and offers tons of selections
Entertainment: a crazy person dressed in the latest hefty trashbag couture quoting bladerunner scenes… I sorta liked that. «The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long — and you have burned so very, very brightly, Roy.
Thank you Tyrell, Whataburger, and Houston for the memories.

Can’t complaint about this place. I live close by and comes by onece in a while and always employees are courtous and restaurant one of the cleanest one. Fast service and easy in and out.

OMG OMG OMG. I LOVE WHATABURGER. IT NEEDS TO COME TO THE SOUTHEAST COAST ASAP. I’m so sad it’s only in Texas and its surrounding states.
This place is a no fuss no muss good down to earth burger joint. I love everything here but my favorite is their double burger. It’s just the perfect amount of fat/​lean combo which based on my experience has been hard to balance.

I got the chickenb strips and it was COLD! Like it was left over from the lunch rush and its 5:00… Ugh. Worst ever

Terrible burger. Not even served with cheese unless requested. Whhhaaaaaaa? Thats crazy! Dated décor. Nothing special tasted like cafeteria food. No comparison to In-​N-​Out or any other ‘good’ burger place will never ever eat this again.

Ugh, not great food, not great service, they gave me the wrong order etc. etc. There are better places to eat, though I would go here for dessert or onion rings. I would give them a worse rating, but if you got different employees when you went it might be fine.

Please read all the way through. Original post stems from a bad experience at Wendy’s. This review speaks volumes of this Whataburger location.
First time at the local WENDYS. Arrived at 12:30 am after a long night at the hospital… You know we’re right near the med center after all. Pulled up to the drive through, sat and waited for about two minutes perusing my options on the menu and then *click* the lights go out… pull forward to the pick up window and make eye contact with an employee at which point I smile and nod. No acknowledgment. Finally after another 2 minutes of my awkward stare, her supervisor sees me out of the corner of her eye and opens the window. I ask, «are you guys still open?» Her response… «actually we’re trying to close…» At which point I respond with oh okay, should I just go to Whataburger? Well yeah if you don’t mind…“
Point of the story is I ended up going to Whataburger down the street (9955 Main St
Houston, TX) and it was delicious, fast, and welcoming. Told the woman at the pick up window briefly what happened and I received a warm «welcome to texas!». Will never go to that Wendy’s again but recommend this WHATABURGER.

Came here because a friend told me to. That is the last time I took his advice. The burgers were so dry. Poor quality burgers. In n Out is so much better! Poop

Greasy. Fast. Tasty. Perfect food on the go. I always get the patty-​melt. It’s not 5 star dining, but it hits the spot every single time.

Always packed during meal times, but consistency is there! Always love getting the patty melt when I’m feeling voracious like a T rex. And if they have spicy ketchup, no question on whether or not to get it.

This Whataburger was a different experience, I’m not used to going to a fast food place and being treated nicely LOL. The girl who took my order was the most pleasant person I’ve ever met in a place like this. The burgers are fresh tasting and HUGE for the price.

Clean, spacious with quick friendly service. I got the avocado bacon burger on a bun instead of the Texas toast. Delicious!

Very friendly staff who know how to treat a customer. I am not sure what the other reviewers were talking about. Maybe a bad day.

The employees at this whataburger are so rude it’s like it would kill them to crack a smile. It really pisses me off when people are just rude!

I have been all over the states. And, I must say.. .. this burger was «hella» good. I could easily fly back to Texas just for one. It’s the fact that it’s simply made, no frills. I like the burger buns used. MMM. I literally bought ONE and then turned back around for another one because I knew my day would suck if I just didn’t have one more whattaburger lol. And, the customer service was fantastic.

I love my Whataburger! My parents rent an apartment during the rodeo season and we grab lunch here often. Pretty standard Whataburger. Plenty of parking, nice service, clean facility.

This location had 12 cars outside, 2 people in line to get food, and not a single person eating in. How is it that we were the only ones in the drive-​thru, but still had to pull up to the cone and wait, followed by 3 other cars???
The bright spot was the patience and sweetness of the young lady taking our order, since my son had to make up his mind about what he wanted.
