Count your money and get a receipt when you leave this place. They’ve made additional charges on my card and won’t respond once questioned. I’ve had to take the matter to corporate. #WhataThief

I had a taste for a burger for breakfast and so I went here. I ordered the Monterey melt, and even though I never had it before, it sounded good except for the ranch sauce. I forgot to say no ranch sauce at the drive thru order window so I told the cashier & she said no prob & to pull on the side. I pull on the side & she comes running out in the cold & asks is there anything else I would like instead like mayo etc? I think that was awesome because she didn’t have to do that. The customer service was great and the burger was hot fresh and delicious. I now see what the burger hype is about!

They took three times to get my order right. I appreciated the effort to fix my hamburguer ingredients but I am dissapointed that my fries got soggy while waiting, and then I was sort of questioned as to why I dont like pickles… she even said if I was pregnant I would like them, I was like I am pregnant and I don’t. I just think their service is very poor and then the lady mopping didnt put signs up, I almost slipped when refilling my soda. Honestly I think they try, but their food leaves much to desire compared to other locations.

They got my order right but took longer than I would have liked to wait but I believe that this is the case with any whataburger.

A very fast and clean whattaburger! Stopped by for late night snackies with the BF and was in line for only about 5 mins! Very happy and my food is perfect! Will come back soon!

Where I grew up there was no such place as Whataburger. I can tell you that the only thing that bothers me is how people say it, «waterburger» haha! Sorry no offense intended. For fun I make sure I say What A Burger to people now know here in Houston and they look at me like I’m crazy. That aside, it is a large step above any other fast food chain around. Compared to where I moved from, same story. It’s great.

I’m so tired of this Whataburger. The night shift can NOT follow simple instructions. The employees clearly hate their job and make the customer feel like they’re a burden. They’ve gotten my order wrong many times on the night shift after I clearly stated what I wanted and they asked twice and made sure… yet still I get a completely incorrect order and have even had things left out of my order that I paid for! If it’s late night and you want Whataburger, do NOT go to this one. Try another location.

Got food poisoning here usually don’t eat fast food but decided to treat myself this one time and got my pregnant girlfriend some food also then I instantly realize that the food was disturbing my stomach and when I asked her she didn’t notice anything at the time until few minutes later and couldn’t stay off the toilet for more than a few hours and was running a bad fever and was vomiting. I actually love whataburger but this location need to so something about there sanitation

Whata-funny clever little name for a burger joint! As a former Texas transplant, I found it amusing to see a Whataburger establishment so close in proximity to another Whataburger joint. Then again, after having lived in Texas for quite some time, this seems common! When I first moved here, I refused to give into trying Whataburger until after seeing strings of commercials on tv about it, I thought«heck, why not?». The hub and I put the weights down and said eff it, it’s cheat day — time for a burger run. Headed to the nearest Whataburger and did the whole drive thru experience. Quick and painless, we got our food and made a mad dash home to grub. Got myself their«Whatachick’n strips» that comes with their famous Texas toast while the hub got himself the Double Meat Whataburger. After knocking down my meal, my thoughts were blank. There were only 3 pieces of chicken so I basically inhaled that and it was gone in 5 minutes. I probably took my time with the toast because that was the only thing that stood out the most since that was my first time trying it. As for the actual burger, «Meh…». Again, mediocre. They do also serve breakfast and grilled items here, but I’ve never tried that. Doubt I ever will… I’m just glad I was able to give this place a try before moving back to Cali for good! Sorry Whatburger! Maybe next time!

Not all Whataburgers are created equal. This one stands out for me, If you like their taquitos this one always makes the best ones. Some locations appear to use half an egg and this one seems to use 2 eggs in each. Ask for grilled onion in it… yum! I’ve never(knock wood) got the wrong stuff in the drive thru. And honestly, I make my order a bit complicated… extra pickles, grilled onions, no tomato, whole wheat bun. Yeah, I’m THAT gal in the drive thru. I like when that Whataburger brings you your food at the table. When you have little kids it’s so much easier than having to go up to the counter and get it. Breakfast is on an 11pm to 11am schedule. But you can get Whataburgers and fries and all that other goodness 24⁄7! Yeah! If you’ve never had a Whataburger… this one makes a great one!

Went here after seeing that McDonald’s wasn’t still serving shakes. Older gentleman at the window was very friendly. Plus they serve ice cream at night. Will make this my late night snack stop when I’m craving fast food, especially french fries.

It is hard to beat a grilled burger and fresh fries. Whataburger may not have invented that formula but they sure do it well– if you are going to eat on the run, you might as well swing on through it is miles above the other fast food spots.

Orange and white exterior, serving equally boring foods. While I normally dont review gas stations, BS fastfood, this place was so bad I had to warn the public. This place is just not good at anything. Forget about burgers, I dont know how they stay open with the magical formula that removes taste from the menu items. Food: Biscuit and gravy– I finally found a time where there can be too much gravy! And it wasnt all that tasty.(Look at the pictures) C Breakfast chicken biscuit with honey– It’s ok, way sweet and soggy. B– This place smells as flavorless as a hospital pharmacy, with the foods with less seasoning than cough drops. I’m not a psychic, but i predict this place will not be around long.

Before I visited Houston awhile back I had never even heard of Whataburger. We don’t have em in Atlanta where I lived for years, or in North Carolina where I grew up. So I was all afire to try out the local burger chain when I first came here. Sadly my hosts insisted that they sucked, were overpriced and weren’t that good. So when I finally moved to Houston and had my own means to get about Whataburger was high on my list of things to try and I was not disappointed that I did. First the quality of the hamburger meat was better then anything I’ve come to expect from MickeyD’s, Burger King or Wendy’s. Second they got my order right, not always the easiest thing to do since I often am ordering a plain burger for my puppy to eat with me and that often blows the mind of the order taker. Third the drinks come in Styrofoam cups not that nasty wax paper that is so common, it keeps em colder, they are sturdier, and it make’s the drink taste better IMO. Finally they cost me no more then what I would pay for an equivalent meal and extra junior burger for the pooch at Wendy’s. To me Whataburger is a hit and the only thing I wish they would do differently is to add chilli to the menu so that I can get a good chilli burger at a convenient location when I have the hankering for one.

I always wondered who would review a fast food place, but now I am one of those people :) I often visit this location for breakfast before work. There are 2 girls in particular that work the drive thru that are always very friendly and efficient. Something about those sausage taquitos is just what I want; be it the middle of the night or first thing in the morning. Good thing they serve breakfast from 11PM-11AM! They also have a surprisingly good biscuit and sausage gravy. Non-breakfast faves include the patty melt(all that melty cheese and caramelized onions) and chicken strips meal(reminiscent of DQ).

The 12 Days of Christmas is currently taking place at your local Whataburger restaurant. This promotion seems to get bigger and better every year. I frequent this location about 3 times a month. One of the few fast food joints from where I will eat. Must say every time I walk in, the place is bright and a cheery mood is in the air. Always greeted by a smile behind the counter. That’s a rarity in most businesses these days, not just fast food. We know Whataburger is one of the legendary Texas establishments. I can honestly I have not had a bad experience. That includes the locations in North Louisiana as well. On this visit I redeemed my free Whatachikn coupon. I should of known this was going to be big. There was a line out the door when I pulled up. Luckily the line was moving fast. The manager worked the dining area. Making sure everything was alright, and bring out orders. My party ordered 3 Whatachickn’s, order of fries, and an order of onion rings. As usual the food was piping hot when it arrived at the table. I must say Whataburger comes in second to Chick-Fil-A when it come to the chicken sandwich. Although the veggies on the sandwich are fresher then Chick-Fil-A. Fries excellent. Onion rings excellent. Only complaint about this 12 Days of Christmas promotion is, they need to print on the coupons that they need to be redeemed in store. Drive Thru line was 3 cars when I pulled up. 3 cars when I left as well. Still a line out the door when I left. Overall I love the food. Will definitely visit again.

For a fast food place, Texas’s Whataburger makes a pretty good burger. Their toppings seem to be a bit fresher and crisper than the soggy veggies that often inhabit their competitors, while at the same time the hot food is always piping hot. They have some special combos that come and go such as the A-1 burger or the jalepeno-cheese burger. You can ask for your burger set up almost anyway you like. The staff seems to be friendlier at Whataburgers compared to the brainless drones that inhabit other brands. On the downside, many of their locations seem a bit aged and tired. Their fries come out hot but often seem a tad undercooked. The onion rings were good, but a bit overly oily. If I am aiming for a fast food meal, I’d steer for Whataburger or Chik-Fil-A over most others of this price range.

I had Whataburger one time when I lived in Alabama. Only one time. So long ago that I had no idea what they even served… other than burgers I mean. A mandatory stopping point while in Texas, my guy took me here to grab a quick bite before the trip to Austin. Hooray. Burgers. Me likey! Once inside I quickly changed my tune. This location was a bit sketchy, kinda dirty and employees weren’t that friendly. I ordered a chicken sammich instead of a burger(seemed the«safer» choice… why? i have no idea). It’s basically the same as all other fast food joints. Quick food, fried up nice so it tastes good. Apparently the thing to get here are their chicken strips with gravy. I tried it. Same gravy that you get in the Bob Evans Biscuits and Gravy package in the freezer section. Eh… not my thing. I do like the name though. It’s catchy and weird. And the sign is oddly mesmerizing. Oh yeah… the bathrooms were sorta clean. That’s all.

It’s gotta be the orange stripes. Or, maybe it’s the cool, calm way that lil recording at the end of their commercials says, «whatabuuurger». But something has me seriously addicted, hypnotized even, with this place. Either way, I’m sure this place is the food equivalent of crack. A piping hot, fresh, made to order, fast food burger made the way you like it at 2 or 3 in the morning after the club is heaven. My order is very rarely incorrect at this location, and my food is always hot. Even the fries are outstanding. Oh and the honey-butter chicken biscuit is… man… Seriously, I eat at this location just about every day for lunch,(except Fri. That’s reserved for the ____bar with the fellas) and it just keeps getting better. Very few places, especially fast food, continue to get it right time and time again.
