WineStyles Tasting Station

It was a very odd experience here today. I had been meaning to stop by for some time so today we planned on going, having a glass of wine and checking the place out. As we entered, it was immediately evident that the lights were all off even though it was 2 hours after opening time. A young man in a hoodie was sitting at the counter with his head down. He did not greet us. I made a point of telling him this was our first time in. He responded flatly, «We sell wine. If you like something, buy it.» I thought, well, okay… not sure how to take this so we decided to walk around the store in darkness. I was discussing the wine groupings with my husband as I had read about them online. We looked through the wine from the front to the back of the store and the young man still said nothing and did not turn on the lights. I had hoped that when we started questioning the groupings, he might join the discussion or show some interest. He didn’t. At this point, I decided it was just too odd and we decided to leave. I said «bye» as we walked out and he responded «thanks». I think I see now why I rarely see cars there.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! As my wife and I entered this place there was a guy sitting at the front and initially said nothing! My wife Martha said we’ve never been here before, he said «We sell wine.» «If you like something, you can buy it.» He said nothing else at that point. We thought he was trying to be funny. We noticed all the lights were OFF! We gave him a chance to come to his senses! He did not! So we left, NEVER TO RETURN!!!

Are you looking for a place to try a new wine and have a whole new pallet chance of taste? Okay, fine you want more information. From the moment you walk in the door you will love the atmosphere and environment-​cultured crew (say hello to Raven, just for an example). They love what they do, love to recommend, and have great ideas to complement anything you are looking to try or taste. They have a fantastic cheese patters for wines they offer. They have it all. If you are like me, and have no idea what a good wine is or taste like, then here is your start. They even have fresh pizza too if you are hungry. They are not a store, but an experience. You should so treat yourself. Become a wine club member and more. I hope you all like this place as much as my friend and I do. Enjoy and be safe! :0)

Missing our wine club/​tastings in California, my husband and I tried Wine Styles a few weeks ago since it was nearby. We joined the Wine Club on the spot. They have a great selection of wine, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, a great back room to have a glass of wine or see live music, and a dog friendly patio. I also always prefer a wine club where I get a variety of wine-​even when I love a winery, I don’t only want their wines month after month. So, why not 5 stars? Because the tastings are pricey-​even for members. Any other wine club I have ever heard of you get free tastings… but here you only get a couple bucks off an already pricey tasting, so we don’t taste much, which makes me sad. But all in all we are very happy so far with everything else.
