I love Wingstop as much as the next person but this particular location is managed quite poorly. The proximity to me is the only good thing about it. And that’s not to say the food isn’t good most of the time but it doesn’t make up for the bad service. I can let a lot of things slide but when you go for wings at 9 pm on a Saturday night to a place that clearly states is open until 11 pm and they refuse to serve you, well that’s a bit of a problem. Helpful tip: If you want to go home early on a Saturday night you probably shouldn’t be working in the food service/restaurant industry. Well, upon further investigation, I found out they claim to have corporate approval to close early on Saturday nights(and not post those business hours) because the nearby movie theater(in this relatively nice neighborhood) attracts people who vandalize cars. Which then leads to owners of these said cars deciding to sue Wingstop. Even though we’ve all seen those signs in parking lots that state the business owners are not responsible for damage to cars(duh). But that’s beside the point.

Anyone that knows me know that I am a HUGE wing-lover and have always preferred Wingstop over Buffalo Wild Wings. My experience at this location was less than par. I ordered a combination of boneless parmesan garlic and naked wings along with an order of fries. The parmesan garlic wings were SOAKED with grease and made them very difficult to consume. I don’t think that I will be trying the wings at this location again.

NOTEVEN one star… I had to rate one star just to write my complaint!!! My coworkers and I called in a lunch order on 8÷31÷2015 at 11:33AM at the 4102 Richmond Ave Wingstop. We had 5 orders, which all came with 1 ranch each. We picked up the order, and we had asked, «Is everything in this bag?» and they said, «yes». Once we got back to our office, there were no ranches, no silverware, no napkins and no wet towels. We called to see if they could fix this problem and inconvenience. They told us to come back on a day when they have a special and they will give us 5 free ranches… The ones we already paid for. They couldn’t even offer us a free meal or two for the inconvenience, the gas and the waste of time spent picking up our order. THEYARETHEWORST!!! And that so called manager Manny…(Manuel) you need some management customer service skills training.

This place is a joke!!! What is the use of ordering online if i come in a minute later than the projected 18 minutes then have to wait another 10 – 15 minutes more at the location??? This is ridiculous!!! I wish I could give it a –6!!! If i wanted to wait i would have gone there and ate there. The guy at the front callef in the order when i walked in for the kitchen to make my order. Disappointed and angry!!! Next time i will be going to a different location!

Well a variety of wing flavors. Kinda pricey. I prefer wings from Katz deli in Houston. But it was better than the ones I’ve been to in the South Texas area. Be ready to refer when you walk in cuz the guy at the counter seems to get annoyed if u don’t really know what u want. But place was clean and that’s a big plus!

100 times better than Buffalo Wild Wings!!! They may not have as many flavored; but your food arrives hot and fresh. The garlic parmesan are always on point…

Beats Buffalo Wild Wings and their app makes food to go effortless. Wish they weren’t so greasy

Under new management. Indeed, this Wingstop is run like a well oiled machine now. I got my Super Bowl order right on time, didn’t wait on line, food was hot and fresh. In previous years with other locations, I have never had a smooth experience on Super Bowl today, but I was very pleasantly surprised today. Thanks Wingstop!

This is my third time at this location and I was hoping the third time would be the charm, especially with the under new management sign in the window. Although my food was fresh, the fries were overly salted, and my wings were mediocre at best. From the 25 minutes I waited for my order, the phone went unanswered about 4x despite 5 people being in the kitchen and only 3 patrons in the whole restaurant. I’ll definitely stick to BWW up the street!

I get only lunch here, order online and they always have my order ready. I dont know what the complaints are for, but I’ve never had issues with customer service! I know they have come under new ownership, but dont know exactly when. I have recently started going back here just starting beginning of October, and have ordered multiple times, always great and fast service. I get the boneless specials they have Mon and Tuesdays, 60 cent. Cant go wrong with those for lunch. mango habenaro… spicy sweet, great taste parmesan — my favorite of all time Thats all i get for lunch so thats all I can comment on, asian guy at the register and answering the phone, always quick! Give this place a try again if you experienced bad service before See ya next tuesday or wednesday

A few people I know have recommended Wingstop. After eating here I have to say, it was a bad recommendation. I brought my teenage kids who love wings. They hated it. The seasoning on the lemon pepper chicken was super salty and only added to the dryness of the chicken. The mild sauce seamed like it was more of a dry rub and not so much a sauce. My son made the connection that it tasted like they rubbed Lucas on it. The hickory barbeque chicken was ok. The best thing about the meal was the fries. We don’t plan to eat here ever again.

I didn’t want to give them 1 star but I had no choice. Walked in a few minutes ago and ordered some habanero wings and fries. Waited 30 minutes just watch two other people get their meals before ME! The lady didn’t tell me it was going to be a long wait. I then went to ask for a refund and another lady acted like she didn’t speak English! Then looked around like she didn’t know what to do! I’ve been common to this location for almost two years and as of late the customer service has been terrible. I hate this place and I’m never going back there again. This location needs some new people. Seriously!

I’m a loyal Wingstop customers but I must say this has been a very disappointing experience, I was literally the only customer in the entire restaurant and my order took almost 20 minutes to come out, 5 employees in the kitchen but only one working the rest talking amongst themselves, then began to handle and spray chemicals around the cooking area without gloves, who knows what touched or fell on my food before i received it, very poor customer service at this location, the chicken was not good not cooked properly the breading was literally falling off the chicken undercooked and there was a huge thumb print in my glider, I waited 20 minutes for a very disappointing lunch, the quality of service and food is very poor at this location

Man! I went to wingstop on a Saturday before 5:30pm to place a to-go order. I used to call or order online, but now I order, have a beer and watch whatever’s on the TVs. I walked in to this pretty good looking establishment and was happy that is wasn’t too busy. I was approached by one of the two workers who started taking my order. 8 cajun wing combo, fries, ranch, drink, add 5 louisiana rub, and a miller lite. It’s an order I’ve asked for countless times at other locations and has never been a problem. But this cat was not the sharpest tool in the shed. It took him about 5 minutes before he asked for help. His(frustrated) partner came and asked him if my order was dine-in or to-go and if he’d asked for my name. He’d done neither. Then he asked if I was ordering«all that.» Appearantly, guy number one took a call in order before I got there, but never submitted it, subsequently, adding it to my order. Finally, guy number two set the computer for guy number one to take my order. It didn’t work out. I was pretty sure guy number two was going to strike the dumbness out of guy number one, but he didn’t(while I was there). Guy number two apologized and entered my order in about a minute. My tickets time stamp was 5:33pm. I got my order at 6:05pm. When I ordered my ticket was third in line, and one of the other customers only had a 8 wing combo. As for the tv watching, it was college softball. I would’ve asked them to change it, but no way in hell was I going to add to this debacle. The wings were delicious(MAYBE a tad salty) as always, but the service was just really bad. The guy who couldn’t work the computer really made store look bad, because he slowed his partner for busting out the orders. This was my first visit to this location, and I’ll update if it’s better next time(whenever that is).

Wow… And not in a good way. I’ve actually came to this location before and thought it was pretty average considering venue etc. But I see it’s a hit or miss… Mainly miss. I went in towards evening and you could tell they were busy but not to the point of justifying horrible service or simple error. The girl asked if I was picking up «to go» when I said no she replies okay but continues doing what she was doing(which is not coming to the register to take my order). Top it off she helped the next two people that walked in after me, served me cold wings which I made her touch so she can see it felt as if they had come out the refrigerator and then when they were replaced they shorted me three wings … And if that wasn’t enough thy replaced the three and poured sauce over the top of them instead of tossing em!!! The nerve! But hey no worries, he threw in an extra wing to make up for it all I like wing stop but this location really needs to start re-evaluating their staff… I honestly would have to say this is the worst Wingstop I’ve ever been to.

My fiancée and I have only ordered out(take-out) from this location for the past few wing dinners. My fiancée is from Buffalo, NY(home of wings) so he knows his stuff. HOWDOES W-STOP COMPARETOBUFFALOWILDWINGSDOWNTHESTREET? — We had a bad staff experience the last time we went to BWW** so we tried WS and it was fabulous. The staff is friendly and have begun to recognize us as regulars, they are always so nice and friendly, and the food is good. **(the manager of BWW read our bad review, apologized, and invited us for a meal on them so that is redeemable but even with this I still prefer WS). TASTE:(flavor: Traditional Hot) — I like my wings to be juicy and not dry so I always ask for all flats. The flats are moist where the drums are dry, and I always ask for extra sauce on the side(I like mine saucy). :) These are second only to Frankenstein’s bar and grill on HWY6 in Sugar Land. If you live near there and are fine with a bar setting, that is the place to go! SIZE:(flats) — There is usually a balance between a couple large, mostly medium, and a few tiny dinky wings in our order of 20 – 25. On average we trow away 2 dinky wings out of 20. Neither of us wants to eat them. PRICE: — The price is reasonable, either less or close to BWW prices.

Review is regarding a pickup order: 1) I placed the order via their website. very easy to navigate and very easy to complete my order. I’d recommend this method. 2) Time: website said to expect 25 minutes for it to be ready but we arrived a bit earlier and it was already ready for us 3) Cashier was very friendly and personable. Payment was quick and easy. 4) We requested our wings to be all flats(as opposed to drumsticks), and were pleased to see they honored this request(some wings places wont) 5) The wings were great, perfect amount of sauce(we ordered the original hot), and not dry. Size-wise they were medium size whereas many of the wing chains around Houston have smaller wings. I was pleased with the size, for the price. It’s nearby and more affordable than BWW, so I believe we will be back again.

Yikes. Honestly, I don’t give out 1-Star reviews often, but when I do, I mean it. Unfortunately, after a recent visit to Wing-Stop, it really is warranted here. Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? While I have nothing against the particular servers at this Wing-Stop location(honestly really nice guys), there were some logistical issues during my visit. Even though we were the only people in the joint on a Sunday evening, we were told that our orders(8 wings each) would take 30 minutes. Upon asking why, we were simply told that the NBA finals were going on so that was that. I’m understanding of peak hours, but should it not be policy to prioritize dine-in customers? From there, the product was simply so poor that I can’t not place a good deal of the fault on the kitchen staff, and while it pains me in that I so rarely deny this star, I really do need to here. No Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Here’s the one situation where Wing-Stop pulls through. At only $ 0.60 each on select days and roughly $ 1.00 or so otherwise, the boneless wings really are a pretty solid deal when compared to say buffalo wild wings, which really is the only competition. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Plain and simple. It was bad. Really, really bad. Four of my eight wings were garlic parmesan, and while I didn’t take a pic, I was pretty put off with what I got. My boneless wings were almost all breading, were greasy, and were absolutely doused in thick and clumpy parmesan cheese. Gross. As for my class hot boneless wings, they were again mostly bread, mindlessly covered in sauce(without any on the bottom mind you, showing the lack of a proper saucing technique), and all in all just really poor relative to what I’ve had elsewhere. No Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? I’m bummed at how disappointed I was with my trip to Texas’ own Wing-Stop, and while I know some locations are great, this one is not. Stay away. No Star Granted.

I initially tried to order from this location through their online portal but, apparently I took too long and the site wouldn’t accept my order because of the order time. I kept trying to amend the time but, it wouldn’t let me. I actually prefer ordering online, if I can but, I had no choice and I called the restaurant. The person who picked up sounded as if he had a mouth full of marbles and he stumbled through the order taking. He didn’t seem to be aware of the current promos and he told the total and I went to pick up the wings. When I arrived, the person who took my order greeted me with barely a shrug. He noticed two papers near the register and pulled out a filthy trash can and dumped the paperwork. Hmmm. REDFLAG. He took my money and slowly examined all of the money I handed him to pay for the order. He grabbed the bag with my food and I moved to the other counter to check the order. I noticed that the order was missing an item.(during this timeframe, he never washed his hands after touching the trash) I mentioned it to him and he said«Oh, we ran out of that». I asked if there was a substitution. He haphazardly offered me a drink and I accepted. During the commotion, another man walked up to the counter. The worker seemed to be annoyed and warned the man that he would probably need to hurry up because he was sick and might be going to the hospital soon and closing down the restaurant.(It was 8oclock and the store closed at 11pm). Wow. I politely grabbed my bag and walked out. How was the food, you should ask? Nothing to write home about and the avoid the Hawaiian flavor(sorta tasted like soap). The garlic parmesan looked more like powdered sugar than anything. The Louisiana rub was tasty(a little salty) but, I’ll know next time to just stick to the traditional buffalo sauce.
