Wow, 3-d and adventurous yet informative movies, I wish I could drive out here more often for the scientific films. This theatre seats a small bunch, but their are a lot of good times spent here from field trips to youth meets and more. It caters to all people from all backgrounds and ages, there is something worth watching and experiencing in this theatre for everyone, and it doesn’t cost you a leg and an arm to watch for an hour or two.

When you think IMAX, I don’t think of the junk at the movie theaters but I think of the IMAX I went to as a child at the museum! But when you think IMAX you think of those cheesy nature videos, but that is not the case anymore, the Wortham IMAX plays recent movies too. I came here to watch Harry Potter. I must admit it’s a different type of crowd, a much more mature crowd, and the children that do come are more well behaved or with their parents. They are not free to roam like at the other theaters. Not a bite any parenting… but I’m JUSSAYIN’! Plus after the movie you can check out the museum!

I have many nostalgic memories of this place from childhood. My favorite IMAX film was always the one on the Grand Canyon. I wish they would play it again. Everything here seems the same since I was a kid, its even the same voice over intro«sit back, relax.» The seats are still nice and comfortable. The thing that has changed is me. My old people eyes can’t deal with sitting in the front row anymore, it makes me sooo dizzy. I wish admission was a little cheaper so I could go more often. It’s hard to complain about the price being $ 11 and $ 9 for child/seniors, but only in comparison to the hugely inflated prices of the special exhibits at the museum.
