Efficient fast service. We brought a group of school children and made it quickly through the line. I was very pleased with the courteous staff and clean up of tables. Thanks.

It’s clean and a safe, nice McDonalds, the meat was soft like I like however somehow they got my order wrong and added BBQ sauce. A little rush to customer while ordering and deciding. The menu prices are normal Mickey De prices however the sandwich itself starts from around $ 2.50, so don’t expect to see $ 1 McChicken or the cheeseburger. Pretzels looks good for $ 2.50 and sundae is a good deal ice cream here, imo. Regardless of my 3 stars, great to have a standard quality restaurant inside the museum

It’s McDonald’s. Cheap. Fast. Edible. Located within the Houston Museum of Natural Science, this is your basic, albeit small, McDonald’s. It’s your food choice unless you want to leave the museum grounds. Convenient and quick and as is typical of McDonald’s, you know what you’re getting. The service for this McDonalds breaks into two areas. The left side where orders are placed and the right side where orders are picked up by number. Drinks and condiments are self serve and located outside the entrance. Lines can get long and the space inside is small which leads to being crowded. Tables are located outside to the sides of the museum hallway. The seating isn’t plentiful enough to handle crowds during peak times but tables do clear out in a timely manner. The rule here is get food, sit down, consume food and go. Don’t expect super cleanliness, either. There’s far too much traffic to allow table cleanings between each customer who sits at the tables. The idea here is to grab a seat when you spot an opening. Most people do throw away their trash, thankfully. Using a couple of napkins as a placemat helps things out. Service is friendly and efficient. Lines move along at a good pace. The only real problem you’ll find is locating a seat when it’s peak lunchtime. It’s best to go for an early or late lunch here. Quality of food is standard McDonald’s. Not great but consistent. Cheap, fast, edible and convenient. If you’re hungry it’s what there is to eat and it will do.

It’s nice to have a food option, albeit fried fast food, inside the Houston Museum of Natural Science. If you are spending all day inside the museum, as I do often with field trips or teacher professional development classes, I don’t want to leave the building to get lunch just to come back and find parking. Today, I ate at this McDonald’s as I have several times in the past. You order on the left, get a receipt, and then wait until your number is called. They’ve got a system that works pretty well. My food came out correctly and quickly. also, you get your own drinks, so you can get as many refills as you want. Problems: My friend’s order was over charged. The price for chicken McNuggets on the wall and on her receipt(what she paid) were different. Why? They need to double check all their prices. Also, you have to pay 16 cents for each extra dipping sauce you want, but they don’t tell you that when you order. Overall, I’m glad the museum has food available and that it’s the same quality as you’d get at a free standing McDonald’s.

Little McDonald’s located inside the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Pretty typical McDonald’s fare. They get an extra star for being convenient and being one of the minuscule food options in the museum district. This location stays pretty busy keeping up with the museum patrons. They have touch screen computers for ordering, but these are really only in use on the weekends. Thankfully their soda fountain is located outside of the McD’s, so you don’t have to wait in line again for refills. It’s located outside the exhibit halls across from the IMAX, so if you are walking around the district this is an option for a munch stop.
