I believe that this McDonalds is open 24 hours if you can find a way to it after hours.
There’s really nothing special about it as it’s a chain McDonalds. The staff is pretty friendly considering how the food court setting means they get slammed with business at major meal times.
Just be sure you watch out for your drink and food when it comes out because there are plenty of people waiting and they only call your number out once, maybe twice.

This place is in the basement of Ben Taub Hospital, right on the other side of the wall from the imaging lab so there is a huge electrical field which will mess with your cel phone or other electronic device. Its disorganized, crap food & service.
Unfortunately, if you’re at the hospital for any kind of service or in my case an all day affair for a family member’s cancer treatment, then you don’t really have any options for food as the cafeteria doesn’t have consistent or even decent/​affordable food options.
I can’t see how a hospital can justify having a fast food establishment onsite as its definitely not a healthy option for its patients or its staff.

It’s cheap, and super fast, which is good at Ben Taub. Also, it’s probably better then anything else in that cafeteria. It has taught me to think of prices at other restaurants in terms of dollar menu items.
