It may be because of the rent at Scurlock Tower in the Medical Center, but the food is very pricey for what you get. My black bean burger with cheese, fries, and a drink came out to $ 14 with tax included. Ouch. Twice the cost of what I can get around the medical center, but this was more tasty. Service is at the counter, and the burgers are made to order so it will take about 10 – 15 minutes to get your food. My black bean burger was tasty although I was confused that the cheddar I asked for came in shredded form. It blended with the vegetables better so I didn’t mind. Fries tasted standard and the portion was small for $ 2.75. The restaurant had a steady line throughout lunch, but this is probably the only time I’ll visit.

Staying at the medical center. Trying diffrent options. The chicken salad sandwich hit the spot. The sandwich was very tasty. Highly recomend it. Very friendly staff.

Good place to eat in the first floor of Methodist. A little overpriced for what you get, but it’s the hospital, what do you expect? You’ll need some insulin after eating their bacon cheeseburger, which is meaty and crispy. The chicken fingers aren’t all that special. Get the curly fries. Probably anywhere else, it’s a run of the mill burger joint, but if you’re in Methodist, it’s one of the best you’re going to get.

Three words: Better than Cliff’s. Burgers are tasty. You can actually smell them on Fannin street during lunch rush. When I walk in there, I feel so rushed when I get in there because none of their menu items have a descriptor. What is on the Blah De Blah Blah? … I want to ask, but I feel rushed, so I just order Blah with Blah Blah. Onion rings are really something you can live without. Same with the fries(they are alright, better than the onion rings). But overall, best burger in the TMC. Sorry MickyDs in Ben Taub.

The food is descent. Over priced. The older man taking orders is rude. I’ve visited this place twice and both times he’s been extremely rude. TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. The guy gets worked up easily when asked about the menu. Will need to find another burger place. If it wasn’t for the service I would have rated the place higher.

First time here and it was pretty good. The turkey sandwich and cheeseburger were great! Great little place to eat for lunch :) Its small like about 15 tables but the food is good. Customer service just needs to be more friendly. During lunchtime it was a bit crowded but managed to get a table.

I think I made a big mistake. Because I came here and ordered the«cluck» aka chicken breast sandwhich, which was borderline unedible. I drenched it in ketchup to help make it less dry. The bun was stale. Not a fan. Sweet potatoes fries were really good. I would come back for those. I also tried the bacon burger. I was not really impressed. I don’t get what all the fuss is about. But I will tell you… if you must eat here. You better order something covered in chili or bacon and be prepared to wait. I’ll stick with becks for my fast food burgers.

If you want a really great, juicy and greasy burger and you’re in the med center look no further cuz Miller’s fits the bill. The burgers are really good, and my fave is the turkey burger. They have really awesome sweet potato fries, too. If you work in the area, make sure to call your order in because getting down here and ordering can be chaotic — there is usually a REALLY long line just to get to the counter to order plus the minimum 10 min wait for your order(totally worth it though) OMG, they have a BLT that I swear has like a pound of bacon on it and served on a massive hamburger bun(good thing too or it’d fall apart on regular toast). They can be a touch pricey, but I promise it is SOOOOOO worth it… made fresh and thick, juicy patties.

This is my 2nd time eating here(or maybe even 3rd) and everything I had so far has been great. I gave it 5 stars not because its necessarily the BEST burger I’ve had but just because I’ve had a great experience here each time. Today I got the chilli cheese burger and the frito pie. Both were perfect, just the right amount of chilli and cheese on both. The poppy seed buns are a great texture and the burger itself is pretty big. I ordered it to go over the phone and picked it up, very speedy service!

Close your eyes – take a bite and ol’ Jimmy Buffet’s «Cheesburger in Paradise» starts magically playing in your head!!! First experience here was about 4weeks ago while working down at the med center — totally worth it! Massive burger – poppy seed buns — (don’t eat here if you have a whiz quiz to take for that fact alone :)) great fries – and food came out fast, fresh, and hot. Owners were very pleasant behind the counter. This is the quintessential greasy-spoon but a definite stop by at least once if you have never done it before.

Located on the 1st floor of the Scurlock Tower across the street from The Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. Always good burgers made to order. Always fresh and always delicious.

always a guilty pleasure for work. the burgers are huge! and i love the poppy seed buns… check your teeth afterward. like other people have said… fries are okay, usually over-fried(if that’s possible). one thing i would suggest is the chicken strip burger definitely call in your order… they’re always ready within 10 minutes and they don’t close until 6. and yea… they do mess up my order sometimes… i just pick out my tomatoes.

i LOVE their turkey burgers here! The burgers here aren’t your average sized burgers they are pretty big. There is usually a long line during lunch rush hour so I suggest calling in your order ahead of time. But I would not order the fries or onion rings cause they are not so great.

i was so excited to try a burger here today, since i’ve heard coworkers go on and on about the cheeseburgers here. i got here a little after 11:30, and did not have to wait long at all to order. i went with the guacamole burger with cheese, and asked for the onions grilled instead of raw(P.U!). i had a friend join me for lunch, and his chicken tenders came out 1 minute before mine, even though he ordered a little after me. this is probably because the grill is full making burgers, and not too many fried orders are placed. no matter, i got my food pretty quickly anyway, all in all i waited about 5 minutes. my friend was gracious enough to let me try some of his chicken tenders, and they were really good! the batter was crisp and crunchy, and the chicken inside was juicy and tender. now let’s get to the good part — my burger! the burger was awesome! the bun was toasted, the onions were grilled perfectly, there was a generous helping of guacamole, the patty wasn’t bad(a little overcooked, so i may order it med next time), and there was a good amount of mayonnaise and mustard. i was only gonna eat half, but was naughty and ate all of it, since it was so good :) i opted for onion rings instead of fries, and those are quite tastey as well. i will definitely be back to treat myself to a nice burger from time to time.

it’s a big patty, but forget doneness requests. I asked for medium and got a medium well burger, lacking any juice. Life’s too short to go back to places that don’t listen.

So I was in the hunt of something different and was hoping to check out murphy’s deli but they stopped serving the hot dishes by the time I got there so I decided to give this place another shot. Trick me once, shame on you. Trick me twice, shame on me. Trick me three times and I got what I deserved Well you won’t get that third chance. Greasy flavorless burgers. Terrible fries. And once again they messed up my order, double bacon cheeseburger, no bacon. NEVERAGAIN!!!

I don’t know why, but I can’t seem to write a review of Miller’s without descending into imagery best suited for reviews of made for cinemax movies and romance novels. So, instead of discussing meat orgies and delicious buns, I’ll just say that the burgers and sandwiches are delicious, the service prompt, and the price cheap. The one negative is the tremendous line that forms to order/pay if you get there after 11:30.
