The ambience isn’t what I expected, but decided to give it a try anyways. The food was very good. I ordered a chicken gordita and it was perfectly made. It was seasoned well and the green salsa was spicy just like I like it! If you’re in the area, it’s worth the stop

Ah, the statistical rigor of small sample sizes. The other reviews are accurate in that it’s a food counter in a convenience store, but they are nice folks. The cheeseburger and fries are decent, but I suspect their Mexican food fare is where their strengths lie.

Solid breakfast tacos on the cheap; a good option if you’re staying at the Marriott across the street. If I want to be nitpicky, the red salsa they gave me wasn’t too exciting, and it would have been nice if the potatoes in the taco were seasoned. Still, this place saved me from eating Marriott’s overpriced breakfast, and it was overall a satisfying breakfast, for less than $ 4. It’s a food counter inside a convenience store; nothing fancy here.(They do have tables for you to sit down and eat.)

This place has some AMAZING hamburgers!!! Stop by when in the Med center and enjoy. They’re usually pretty quick with service as well!

I’ve worked across the street for years and never knew about this place. If you’re in the med center and would like the juiciest burger or some really decent Mexican food… go here. It’s around the corner from chipotle. It’s a convenience store selling magazines candy etc but the food there is really good! I tried the cheeseburger and fries. Was super juicy and the fries were fresh. Super cheap also… burger fries and drink for $ 5! I will most certainly be coming back to try the tostadas or quesadillas! Additionally the guy working there is SUPER nice and friendly. This place deserves to succeed.

OK, let’s get it out o the way: this ain’t fine dining. it’s a taco stand disguised as a convenience store. You can order at the register, or buy some smokes. I suggest ordering. Considering what they are working with, they do very well. I see they sell wings and burgers, and even a shrimp po’boy. Folks, listen to the ladies doing the cooking and the language they are speaking. Go for the Mexican offerings. I ordered the tostadas. You get two for $ 6, with chicken, $ 5 for beef. They lay a nice layer of beans across the shell, drop some quest fresco, a little lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar and chicken. And then thy drop two little vials of salsa into the bag. The red salsa is nice. It’s light, refreshing, and has a little bite. But the green, oh, the green. Thick, sweet, and it bites. A nice slow burn, it makes the meal. Takes a little courage to walk in, but they are so nice and the salsa is that good.

This place totally surprised me. Stopped by for lunch, it was a short walk away from the Hospital where I walk. I ordered the cheeseburger, and it was amazing!!! I donno how a hole in the wall place can make such a good burger, but it was great! Will definitely be back :)
