Second time to pull up to the drive thru in a few weeks and get no answer, and no one at the window. During business hours, different days, different times. Guess the headset doesn’t reach when you’re hanging out in the lobby.

It’s fast food. You should be ready to repeat your order in the drive thru. And, double check your order.

Went here with the kids and we had a nice time. As usual, the food here is on an average level. It’s good in both flavor and price and its a good place for having a quick bite. Service-wise, it was just okay for me.

I’ve really come to love their salads. The new strawberry salad is quite good and the large portion is plenty big. Service here is OK. My last drive-thru experience was a little slow and the salad order came out wrong. They forgot to hold these cheese(on the side) on one salad and the other salad didn’t have the correct dressing. Workers are semi friendly, but run if the mill for fast food employees. While located near the outskirts d the Museum District, some visitors would consider the area a little sketchy, but it’s perfectly safe. People seem to not like low income folks taking the bus. There are a lot of homeless people a few blocks north, but they don’t usually bother people other than the street corner panhandling at Wheeler and San Jacinto or Wheeler and Spur 527.

This is one of the worst Wendy’s locations ever, located near the worst Jack in the Box location in the city. A lot of this has to do with it’s location near the Wheeler Metro hub. This block is a blight on the fast food eating public. *spritzes water from a bottle on Wendy* no, bad kitty.

Definitely have the best burgers compared to the other fast food chains.

Basically, a Wendy’s is a Wendy’s, but for being in a ghetto part of town, this one is decently clean and the staff are friendly and give fast service. This Wendy’s isn’t anywhere near as bad as it’s location would lead you to expect.

The perennial problem with Wendy’s has always been, that(like Popeye’s) they have rotten customer service. They draw an unusually large portion of their employees from a poorly socialized demgraphic, poorly versed in manners. The workers here are nicer than usual, but this location still attracts the downwardly mobile; drawn from the adjacent flop house, and/or from the desperate depot across the street(The dreadful ‘Wheeler’ bus hub — in front of the also dreadful midtown Sears — a crime-inspired bunker). Wendy’s recently replaced their legitimate, square, hand-pressed burger with a completely rotten, soulless pressboard imitation. The prior burger was always over-priced($ 5), but you could argue it was worth at least 3 bucks. The new burger is not worth 20 cents, but still costs 5 dollars. I reccommend that you ignore your dissapointed tastebuds, and just think of all those savings going into the pockets of Wendy’s executives. With insipid MBA thinking like that, I wish you a speedy trip to your expected Chapter 13 filing later this year. Wouldn’t Dave be proud that you ran his company into the ground in less than ten years?

I don’t think Wendy’s has ever made it up there in popularity with McDonald’s or Burger King, but with their new natural cut fries it seems like they are trying. They are definitely an improvement. The old fries you used to have to scarf down before they got cold, which happened very quickly, because they did get really gross when they were cold. These new fries are great and really don’t taste anything like fast food, ever better than some fries from a sit-down restaurant. No one can ever forget their Frostys! They now come in vanilla as well as chocolate, shakes, mixed with oreos, and in soda floats. This location is never really busy and they’re much quicker than other locations. There is some local flavor of various homeless peoples that hang around the exit of the drive-thru. I have never seen them bother anyone, they just seem to watch the cars go by on Main Street. The inside is open 10 am to 10 pm and the drive-thru is open from 10 am — 12 pm.
