Alterations By Rozi

I took my bridesmaid dress here to have the straps shortened and the bust taken in. During the initial fitting, I felt comfortable with how things would turn out. When I returned to pick the dress up, I asked to try it on before paying and Rozi almost seemed surprised that I should want to try it on to make sure it fits. She just said «If you want». So I tried it on and struggled to get it zipped… I could barely breath and it felt like a corset. The straps were also still at least a couple inches too long. She played it off like it was my fault and asked if I wore a bra during the fitting (which i did). No apology or anything. I mean these alterations were WAY off and not even close to how it was pinned and measured.
My biggest frustration was the feeling from her that this was due to something I did and she did not take responsibility for the mistake. When I picked it up a week later, It did fit well, but there were a couple snags on the overlay of the dress (Rozi did not react when I told her) and I could see the remnants of the straps where they were snipped off (which she did fix). Next time, I will be going to a more customer friendly establishment.
