The Pizza’s Champ

When the Pizza ’ s Champ opened I was excited to try the pies. I was not disappointed. It was the best pizza I had tasted during my 40yrs in Livingston County. The pizzas and bread sticks will never let you down. Even the chicken salad is wonderful and very filling. Great bang for your buck and it goes a long way on family night. Got em on speed dial now.

I’m a truck driver and no place I’ve found comes close to making me feel at home as they did! Came to the rest area to deliver and went out of thier way to make me happy!!! A new staple while in the area!!! 5 star all the way!!! Thank you oh so very much: D

We ordered a large pizza from here tonight. This was our first time ordering from The Pizzas Champ. It was great! The toppings were fresh, the pizza was warm and it arrived a lot quicker than the estimated time. Friendly service and a fair price.

Awesome sauce! I mean that in reference to the sauce being awesome, not in the way people used that phrase back in 2006.
Also awesome is their pizza dough and their toppings are always fresh. Their antipasto salad is so good and their homemade ranch will get you pregnant.
Support a local Howell business next time you get pizza! You can’t go wrong with this place!

The family and I were in town visiting for a week and did not want to cook on our last night, so we decided to try the local delivery pizza. I did not have high hopes for excellent pizza but the wife let her fingers do the walking and she found the Pizza’s Champ on Unilocal.We ordered a pie with several topings, a Cesar salad, the garlic cheese wings, and jalapeño poppers. First and foremost the pie was pretty good. Good amount of fresh tasty toppings on a thin crust, which was good in and of itself. The salad was fresh and tasty, with just the right amount of zing necessary for a Cesar salad. The The wings I found a little bland. I would have preferred a stronger garlic flavor. The jalapeño poppers were decent. If I were to rate the food alone I would give it 3.5 stars. However, the service was great. Not being from the area and working off of Unilocal and Pizza’s Champ’s website, the order taker patiently walked my wife through what they had and did not try to up sell us on anything. Oh, and price is phenomenal. Our order arrived in a timely and the hot food was hot. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely order from the Pizza’s Champ again.

The other reviews were right — it’s an unpretentious restaurant that offers a great value. The owner is very friendly without being smarmy. And the breadsticks and pizza crust are extremely fresh and tasty. I would only suggest updates to the décor and a little more padding in the booth seats.

Awesome bar b que pizza and bread sticks. Also had fries. I will go back and tell friends how good it was.

Incredible pizza with the absolute best crust we’ve had in Michigan! Crispy and done to perfection with the ideal ratio of sauce to toppings and cheese.
We shared a combination pizza (so delicious!) and our daughter had a cheeseburger personal size.
The restaurant is clean and cute, the service is kind and wonderful! This pizza place isn’t rivaled by another locally, it is the best we’ve had!

Our favorite place in Howell, Fat Guy Pizza Pie, just closed down, so we have been on the hunt for a new pizza place. This joint surpassed our expectations! Their crust is crunchy and buttery, the toppings weren’t chintzy, and their bread sticks… OH MY GAWD THEIR BREAD STICKS! Sticks came with a cream cheese spread that was super good, and had a hint of horseradish. Also, they are CHEAP. We got a 3 topping large pizza plus bread sticks for $ 13.99. Check Facebook for their daily specials. Anyways, this place is great and I seriously can’t lose another pizza place to this economy so get your asses out here and keep these guys in business!

Pizza was good, the ratio of sauce to toppings was near perfect. Breadsticks with Champ’s cheese were delicious as well. Wings were decent but we are partial to breaded ones, tried them anyway and were pleased enough. Definitely a great place for good pizza, and they’re pretty cheap! I look forward to getting more from here!
