The Tea Shoppe

This is the REAL tea-​vana. Not to be confused with the Starbucks offshoot TEAVANA™©. It’s unfortunate that this lovely shop is located in a not so exciting plaza but I promise you that once you enter it’s like you died and went to tea HEAVEN.
It’s huge inside. It’s like stepping into a tea museum or a magical tea land. If it’s the latter than no wonder it’s well hidden inside of this boring shopping center. They have shelves that are as high as the ceiling offering rare and high quality teas that you can only find online. They have glass shelves displaying all kinds of tea pots and tea cups. This is a great place to take your tea loving family or tea loving significant other to as you will be entertained for at least an hour with all the glass jars and tins full of rare and special teas along with tea books and tea accessories and tea themed jewelry.
They of course also offer any of their teas iced or hot as well as bubble tea. After stopping in here once I found that I was compelled to try a few iced and bubble teas AND also acquire one of their tea filled tins as well. Of course no one there encourages you to spend anything but you find yourself not wanting to leave without some souvenirs to take home with you.

This is defiantly a place for tea lovers. They have a selection of dozens of flavors of teas. My personal favorite so far is the maple syrup tea.
The store has a great, clean, warm atmosphere; with great customer service.
Whenever you have time I recommend you stop by for a cup of tea and some fresh pastries.

The wife and I just stopped by this shop and loved it. A really great selection of teas from around the world. White, green, herbal, decaf, whatever. The staff is friendly and helpful. No pressure. Oh, and you can get hot tea and yummy cookies too.
They also have self-​serve frozen yogurt and a wide range of toppings.
It’s in a little strip mall, (Ideal Plaza) just south of West Farms Road on Route 9 South.

This was a wonderful little discovery while I was visiting my family in Jersey. Their selection of teas is very impressive, their pastries /​cookies are delicious, and their frozen yogurt was a real hit with my nieces!
The café is clean, the staff were adoringly friendly, and the visit was great fun for my nieces’ and I during a bit of foul weather last week (tea on a rainy day really kicks the wet chill from being outdoors… though my nieces could eat frozen yogurt at the arctic circle).
I strongly encourage you tea lovers to visit this wonderful little shoppe and enjoy all they have to offer :-D
