great service, awesome food and a nice place to take the kiddos!!! we love to come up there for family get togethers or even a small family dinner. We have yet to have anything that we didn’t like on their menu, especially our picky child loves to eat there. Highly reccomend

Everyone loves a good breadstick and Tomato Brothers doesn’t disappoint. They’re garlicky, crusty but soft in the middle. My family snarfed down a big basket of them. I had the lasagna, which was quite good. The service was pretty average. Our waitress kept our drinks filled and was friendly. Recommend!

Quite expensive, unless you walk away convinced you’ve eaten your money’s worth in breadsticks!

I live 30 minutes away and the bread sticks alone are worth the trip. The Stromboli was yummy.

Shrimp and scallops fettuccine is wonderful every time. Rolls(bread sticks) are great and pizza is OK. Strangely, as good as the bread sticks are the next day the flavor is almost gone?

An excellent family restaurant. Friendly and responsive wait staff. Good and fresh food. Would highly recommend to those doing outlet shopping in Howell. Wish we had a place like this in Pontiac.

Great place! One of my favorites whenever im in this area. They have awesome breadsticks and lasagna. Im not really a fan of their chicken alfredo, but other than that, i cant complain. I only give this place a 4 stars because of the price. $ 31 for lasagna and alfredo.

Greek salad is excellent, you get a lot of cheese and olives. The bread sticks are over the top! We eat several and they don’t care how many you eat. Pizza is high quality and fish and chips is a favorite of mine. Service is always good and prompt. Very good place consistently the same which is good thing for restaurant.

Great place! I met with some family as it’s between where I live and where they live and it’s a hidden gem that I will absolutely be going back to. The atmosphere is upscale friendly, it fits both a place to celebrate something but also to enjoy a quite bite of pizza among family, friends, or even alone. We were seated quickly at a small table near the back where the kitchen and bathrooms were. It took a good ~5−6 minutes before we were greeted and our drink orders were taken. I had heard and Unilocal-read about their bread sticks so of course we started off with those. Those came out quickly and we snacked on those after placing our order to share(among 3 people) a pizza with black olives, mushrooms, and green pepper along with the Anna’s Greek chicken salad. I was pleasantly surprised when the salad came out ahead of the pizza, in which it was then like an appetizer and set us in the right direction. The salad was served family style which was awesome, and it was HUGE. Definitely enough to split between 4 – 5 people. It was topped with amazing toppings and didn’t leave me feeling like I was missing out. The dressing wasn’t too heavy but just enough to compliment the salad and everything on it. Then the pizza came and it was also HUGE! Everything about it was wonderful, from the crust, the sauce, the toppings, and how piping hot it was. So what took this wonderful meal from 5 stars to 4? The service was kinda«meh». Our waitress, while very nice, was at times nowhere to be found. Our drinks went dry and it seemed to take a lifetime for them to grab our bill when we finally flagged her down. But nonetheless, I’ll definitely be back!

This place has good food and breadsticks. They have good Italian food here and is about the only place local to get it. The prices are average about$ 30 – 40.00 for two adults and a kid. I eat here probably twice a year and will continue to since its local, good food and clean. They are always busy so come early and be prepared to wait.

Above average family dining, with large portions across the board. There were enough minor annoyances to have me leave the rating here. The kids menu needs at least two more options, and one of them needs to be on the non-breaded healthy side. The descriptions could be a little clearer on what comes with the appetizer. The spinach dip comes with carrots, celery, AND bread as just one example. And for a menu as heavy on pizza and pasta, in today’s environment, why are there no gluten-free options? Overall, we will probably be back when we want a sit-down option while visiting the outlets. But we will definitely be asking more questions of the menu.

Well it took about 5 minutes for a server to ask for drinks. It wasn’t too busy and she wasn’t nice about it either but I let it slide. I ordered a side Caesar salad that barely had dressing on it. Also, had the breadsticks that were not great. If you have blood pressure issues don’t get these! Way too much salt. My Alfredo pasta was awful. Overcooked. The Alfredo sauce was not Alfredo. It almost tasted bitter. Our server never checked on us or asked if we needed anything. Also, when we were done with our food she just brought the check and never asked about dessert. Ha! I was really eyeing their cheesecake but not after the awful service. The food is so bland and not worth it.

I’ve eaten here half a dozen times over the past couple years. My experience the first 5 times left a lot of room for improvement. I just never had a good meal… until the the 6th time. My most recent venture here was for a family function. I was apprehensive about going, but had to. We’ll I’m glad I did because I had a great time and the food was fantastic. If they were always this good it would be a 5 stars review. I thought about trying to balance my review based on all my experiences here but I finally decided to weight it in favor of my most recent exerience. Based on that I will be returning for sure.

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while since we’ve heard some people rave about this place. So instead of both of us trying the place, I took the lower risk of trying something there for lunch to see the hype of this place. People rave about their breadsticks. I didn’t find anything really special about them. For some reason, there was a bandage-like taste to them. Perhaps it was just that batch. They tasted like pizza crust dough slathered with butter and garlic salt. It’s definitely not something I’d come back solely for. The Caesar salad that came with the lunch was good… a handful of shredded parmesan on top was overkill, but I scraped the excess off. For the entrée, I ordered cheese ravioli with meat sauce. The cheese ravioli were rather large… I ate 3 ½ of the 5. The ravioli themselves tasted good… nothing spectacular. However what brings everything down several notches was the sauce! The sauce was sooooooooo SWEET! I don’t even eat some of my desserts this sweet! I got full quick because I think I was just not accustomed to having so much sugar in my entrée. We had called them before and they mentioned the sauce being on the sweeter side, but I decided to take the chance anyways. This place got pretty surprisingly busy during lunchtime, for a place smack in the middle of what looks like nowhere. Overall, this place was ok… if you are the type that likes candy sweet tomato sauces, this is the place for you. Perhaps some of their other offerings are better… this place is a bit too far from us to give them a second chance… I guess we’ll see.

Wanted some pizza but I can’t eat them from places like Hungry Howies or Jet’s since I’ve been spoiled by my time with Pizza House in Ann Arbor so I thought I’d give this place a try. I went in during dinner and it must have been during a rush since there were a lot of people waiting in the lounge. I went to the bar to order my carry-out, a specialty pizza with breadsticks(I had the breadsticks while I had a drink). Service was relatively normal for the rush, there were 3 ladies behind the bar and they seemed frazzled like they had a lot to do but seemed to be just moving from one end of the bar to the other(sometimes holding orders, sometimes… just walking?) After about 15 minutes the lobby was cleared, so I wasn’t sure what everyone was running around for. Despite this, they appeared to be attentive to the people at the bar. I think there were some regulars judging by the conversation I could overhear with them. A gentleman had ordered breadsticks with his drinks as well and when he got ready to leave, the gal bagged his breadsticks for him(they’re kind of awkward to put away in the bag they give you) which I thought was really nice. However, when I was given my pizza and my tab ready to go I asked for my breadsticks to get bagged and they just plopped the bag in front of me and walked off. Guess I’m not eligible for the same service. Pizza and breadsticks were ok. Better than Jet’s, but not by much. I might come back with my SO later to try their other food… during a downtime. We might not sit at the bar.

I have seen Tomato Brothers from across the street while coming home from the outlet mall and always wondered what it was. Well, the other night, my sister, her boyfriend, his daughter and I went there to celebrate my birthday. The place was packed — people waiting everywhere. But, they obviously know that this happens, and they had plenty of room to accommodate the crowd. We waited about a half hour before being seated. My sister’s boyfriend and his daughter went on & on about how good the breadsticks are — and they were right! We also got the garlic butter(or perhaps it was cheese — I’m not sure which it was) to go with it, and it was really good, too. There were a couple problems. First, my sister’s boyfriend wanted clam chowder, which was listed on the specials menu for the evening, but they were out of it. The waiter’s explanation was«Well, we make it on Fridays, so whatever’s left is all we have on Saturday.» Then, I ordered the beef stroganoff. A few minutes after placing our order, the waiter came back and said, «I have some bad news for you. The last serving of the stroganoff just left the kitchen.» I ordered the grilled chicken fettucine alfredo provencal instead. Because of these incidents, my sister’s boyfriend asked to speak to the manager. He was very nice, but said again that the soup is made on Fridays. He told my sister’s boyfriend if he wanted the clam chowder to call & ask to speak to him, and he’d put some aside. He was not apologetic about running out of stroganoff because it was a special. It was 7:30 on a Saturday night, which is not late. They really should have planned better, or not put these things on the menu and instead, just have the servers tell diners about the choices so as not to disappoint people. All of that said, the food was really good. The salads were generous, with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and onions. My sister ordered the Tomato Brothers mostaciolli which probably could’ve served 4! Her boyfriend had the vegetable stromboli, which was 2 generous size vegetable-stuffed breads. His daughter had the ½ lemon chicken, which came with green beans and mashed potatoes and was also generously sized. My chicken fettucine was also a very large portion — I ate it for 3 meals! And I love that it had broccoli and mushrooms in it. For dessert, we shared a piece of plain cheesecake with strawberry pie filling on it. Again, very generous in size. Even after 4 of us ate it at the restaurant, I still got 2 more servings out of it! The prices are amazingly reasonable, and the food is good. My only complaint really is that they seem to not plan very well for what they will run out of. I will definitely go back if I am in the area again.

This was my first time at Tomato Brothers and after one visit, I know that I will be back again and again. I myself had the rib dinner with a salad and fries, and it was excellent. The BBQ sauce was tasty and the ribs fell off the bone. Everyone in my party enjoyed their entrees, from chicken caesar salad to Gus’ Special to chicken picata etc., everyone was pleased. Well done, Tomato Brothers!

We live less than a mile from Tomato Bros, but we shockingly don’t go that often. Their food and wine selections are all very good. I’ve had a number of the pasta dishes and was always pleased. Their bread sticks, are of course, always to die for. For about a month straight, my fiancé was obsessed with their apple chicken salad. Fresh lettuce, enough chicken to last through the dish, and garnished with freshly cut apples(no oxidized fruit here) and tender cranberries — all with a delicious poppy seed dressing. Probably the first thing we’ll order when we go back. While the staff and menu are all acceptable, we just aren’t overly excited to keep going back. It is good once in a while, but it isn’t at the top of our list for a quick dinner out or a gathering with friends.

They are open until 10 on Tuesday! Got here at 9 after the outlets closed(5 minutes away) and got great, friendly service. They have a full service bar, know how to make a decent bourbon old fashioned to boot. *i am from NJ and spoiled as hell for Italian food, especially pizza and stombolies* I was impressed with the pizza dough, crisp, appropriately chewy and flavorful. I got a build-your-own boli and could only eat half of it. Tom got the rainbow trout: good flavor, light breading and not over cooked. Fresh steamed carrots and broccoli that were not over done.

The husband and I stopped here after a weekday afternoon shopping trip at the Tanger Outlets. We were seated after a five-minute wait. Their menu is extensive with a focus on Italian foods. Our server was friendly and when we mentioned we’d never been there before, she made sure to mention the specials for the night. I was torn between the lasagna and the chicken Parmesan. She said they’re both very popular but she prefers the chicken Parm, so that’s what I went with. Jacob went with chicken ravioli from the special menu. Our starters — minestrone soup and a house salad — were good, although we both favored the phenomenal minestrone soup over the typical salad. And the breadsticks? Man, you guys weren’t kidding. They were served hot, buttery and salted. So delicious. It was hard to stop myself from filling up on the stuff, but it’d be very easy to do so! Our dishes were good, although I didn’t like the sweetness of their meat sauce. The chicken Parm was good(it could use more seasoning) but really, the sauce did it in for me. Generally, I’m not a fan of sweet tomato sauces, so that is the major downfall of this restaurant. Jacob’s chicken ravioli was delicious and we actually ended up trading dishes because his had a different, more savory sauce. Overall, Tomato Brothers is a nice restaurant with many menu choices for all different types of eaters. I will mention there were TONS of children there, making the place a bit loud and hectic, so don’t visit expecting a soothing dinner experience. But if you don’t mind family restaurants, this is a great choice.
