Fishing boating and bird watching Griffin Stormwater Park is a small park located on Little Lake Harris. Little Lake Harris really isn’t all that little and connects to larger bodies of water so you can take a boat out and travel for quite a distance along these waterways. A nice boat ramp and pier for fishing and a nice pavilion and benches make this a pleasant if rather austere park. A nice enough place for a short walk but the main attraction is definitely the lake. Lots of good fishing in those water and some fun boating but definitely not for swimming. Just too many gators and nasty amoebas that will devour your brain live in this water, especially during the hot weather. A small park to launch a boat, do some fishing or just hang out and watch the graceful and large birds go about their day. A nice place as long as you don’t go into the water.
