This place is AMAZING! Fantastic food and really wonderful service! Being from Texas I’m quite picky about Mexican food and had yet to find a place in Oregon I really like, I am so happy I finally found it! I don’t even care if I have to drive 30 minutes from Portland, it’s totally worth it! Go here, it’s awesome and you’ll love it :)

Family owned and wonderful. Just had our first visit and very impressed. Great food, wonderful service with a smile, and very clean. Food home made with care. Steak is hand cut to be lean and cooked fresh They obviously take pride in their business and customer service. Husband had chili verde, tacos and I had tamale and tacos. We will be back for sure. !!

This was very good food. Homemade tortillas were delicious. Verde sauce very good flavor. Carne asada was thin sliced very tender and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be coming back here on the regular. Service was great!

This small taqueria is our favorite place to eat in Hubbard… not many choices, but we often plan our Saturday bicycle route so we get to have lunch there. Family run business. If you’re lucky, their friendly daughter will be your waitperson. There were 8 of us, but food was prepared fairly quickly. Their grilled fish tacos are scrumptious! Burrito with chile verde is a regular for my husband. Two people shared their chicken fajitas and were delighted. Salsas they serve are milder than my husband and I like, but we’re from Texas and like spicy! We’ll be back.

Best little eclectic restaurant I’ve ever stumbled into. The mismatched assortment of décor, the friendly, attentive staff, and the solid, authentic food make this place so charming. Good price. Good portions. Clean. Good everything but the drinks. It’s all bottled stuff. Even the margaritas. So, unless beer and pre-bottled watery store-bought margaritas are something you can jive with, then good. It’s perfect. But that isn’t a huge issue here. Go! Enjoy! But it’s small, so be prepared for a potential wait. I’d wait for their food, honestly.

I LOVE Senior Lopez! My mom and I eat here all the time, we live in town and try to support local businesses as much as possible. They have literally the best enchiladas of any restaurant I’ve ever eaten at, my mom is a huge sucker for their tamales. They are super friendly, and the food is a slam dunk every time I indulge! Definitely stop here if you are craving good, wholesome mexican food.

Just tired it out last night. Very good. Been very hard to find a place who does homemade Mexican food. Owner is awesome along with the rest of the family who runs the restruant. Good salsa and guacamole plenty of chips to go with the trio. Who would think in Hubbard would have the hidden bomb Mexican food.

Hubby and I ate here tonight, we live a few miles away and like to support local. This was my third time enjoying the food but the first time was a few years ago and the second was take out. I felt like I was really experiencing this with a fresh perspective. I am a sucker for chile rellenno and was pleased to see it offered on the menu. I ordered corn tortillas with it and could tell right away these were homemade and freshly made at that. They were hot, soft and fluffy compared to store bought. Hubby got the chimichanga and he promplty devoured the whole thing. The green tomatillo salsa was good. I loved the guacamole, another review said it was too limey but i found it creamy and just right. They had a green hot sauce that is not always available and that was the total standout! Hot, but in a nice heat way and so flavorful… we will definitely be coming back!

The hubs and I love going to Señor Lopez. Delicious food and family-owned. Often the parents are in the back cooking and their daughter takes orders and serves. She’s fabulous! We always have a lot of fun, and we enjoy that it’s a small place… cozy and comfortable. We have zero complaints about the food – it’s always been delicious and great portion sizes.

When going here, we were excited at how it would be. Usually the small family owned taquerias never disapoint. Clean appearance, friendly staff. Unfortunately that is the only positive thing to say. My wife ordered the chimichanga with chicken. They gave her ground beef. My «super burrito» was the size of a deep fried gas station burrito. My daughter had the«meaty quesadilla». Mostly cheese and the chicken it did have she wished it didn’t. Salsa looked great, but was bland. Guacamole tasted like they squeezed an entire lime tree into it.

This small family restaurant offers friendly service and fabulous food. Tonight I had the recommended shredded beef tacos and they were delicious! It is a small restaurant but that adds to the intimate welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Señor Lopez and would go back any time I am near Woodburn or in Hubbard.

I am lucky to work around the corner and I do try and eat here once a month or so bcause the food is so good. The buritos are big so, heads-up. The carne-asada tacos are heavenly. The fish tacos are the best I’ve ever had. Narciso(Mr. Lopez) always does a good job.

I’m addicted to Mexican food, and I was pleasantly surprised by Mr. Lopez’s family biz. A good mole is hard to beat, and Lopez makes a really good one. Their rice is unlike anything I’ve ever had at a Mexican place — at first I wasn’t sure about it, but came to really prefer their style of rice. «Lick-the-plate» good refried beans. Lopez’s daughter is unbelievably sweet.

Love love LOVE their Torta’s here!!! Best ever! My ex co-worker would make a special trip there once a week, just to have some tasty mexican sandwich yumminess!!! Best of all, in this family owned business, the owner has remembered my face each and every time(even though I only come in about once a month) and even remembers to hold the cheese due to my food allergies. SOSWEET!!! His customer service has always gone above and beyond! P. S. They also gave the place a mini make-over. There are a few tables for outdoor seating which is nice since it is a small place.(and looks like they might do a fancy court yard out back if we give them enough business to open that part!!!)

The Lopez Taqueria is a family business thriving in Hubbard OR. Often Senior Lopez’ daughter is serving great family food. The dishes are well portioned, tasty, fulfilling, rich, and the coveted Mole’ sauce is hard to beat. The prices are 10% higher than other taquerias but if that’s what it takes to stay open I will support it. I have two criteques. 1. It’s usually cold in the winter. 2. The«good» hot sauce for the locals is the most yummy sauce ever, but it most definetly does not agree with me. So sad to have heavenly chile grinds making me ill. But that’s why it’s behind the counter I guess.
