I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Bob Evans here today. We started out with a good server named Heidi, but she kindly transferred us to a girl named Emily as she had been there all morning and was ready to leave for the day. Our food took at least twenty minutes to get to the table, even though it was after the Sunday rush. My bacon was undercooked, even though I requested it to be well done. I mentioned this to Emily, who took my bacon away on a plate and clearly just stuck it in the microwave and brought it back out to me on the same plate. I asked to speak to a manager. He took a while to get to the table and had my bacon recooked, but felt the need to make a snide remark about it hopefully being cooked enough. He did not seem concerned with my negative experience at all. I was never once offered a refill on my coffee or my water the entire time I was there. Emily barely checked on my table and the manager never checked back on us either. I do not appreciate the terrible service, bad attitudes, or lack of consideration from my server or the manager. I will NOT be going back to this location. I’ve always had great service at the Colonial Glenn location.

First visit to this location last weekend. Actually one of the best Bob Evans visits ever. Server Ashlee was great and manager bussed our table and asked how things were. Nice job!

This is the worst Bob Evans that I’ve ever been in. I wish I can comment on the food but after waiting more than 30 minutes for our food, we just left.

This has to be the worst restaurant in Huber Heights, the server was quite slow but, that’s starting to be par for the course at most of the Bob Evans restaurants lately, so I’m not even judging on that part of the experience. I ordered the«meatloaf» without the gravy, that was my first mistake, if I had of gotten the gravy, I may not have seen all the orange grease that the«meat» was floating in. My wife ordered their Blackened Serlion, but I believe that they must have been out of steak, because what she was served was pot roast, and was told that it was Serlion. I think it’s pretty safe to say that we’ll never been eating at this restaurant again.

Mediocre food and a staff to match. Do I believe that my family got it’s money’s worth… absolutely not. Will not make the mistake of coming here again. Recommend Cracker Barrel instead. If you are really hard up for Bob Evans, go to the freezer section and get a microwave meal of the same name and revel in the fact that it’s cheaper and tastes as good if not better.

This is the third time we’ve had pretty horrible service here. I’m not sure if the problem lies with the kitchen or with the servers, but it takes a long time, every time to get our food and get it served hot. This last time it took our server almost ten minutes to even acknowledge our existence. And then five minutes more for him to ask his G.M. to get us beverages. She then took our order and brought us most of our food. The only thing Jake our server brought us was our bill. This is not the first time I’ve witnessed him struggle to keep up with his tables or get his orders right or get the bills correct. So if you go, just hope you don’t get Jake as your server.

My boyfriend talked me into trying this place out again, and I’m glad he did. The staff is COMPLETELY different in the morning. Attentive, quick, and friendly. This is what general customer service is supposed to be. Thank you. I ordered the cinnamon pancakes with cream cheese icing… and it was delicious! The sausage links on the side were delicious as well. I am going to infer that the staff performance changes dramatically when the younger staff are there. Don’t go during the afternoon…(that was the last time I went, thus the previous one star rating on my last review.)

Oh where do I begin… lets start by saying I’ve dined here a couple times but this past visit was the worst. We went for Veterans Day because my veteran wanted his free pancakes. We were seated and that’s when the experience went downhill. Our waitress may have been overwhelmed but she forgot to get us drinks 3 times and forgot to put in our order as well. Once drinks and food arrived we come to find our plates cold. And not just a bit cold but cold as in its been sitting somewhere other than the heat lamps. We mentioned our food was cold and we got an eyeroll, a hand on the hip, and a exasperated«Do you really not want it?». Maybe she was having a bad morning? Anyway we ate what we could and went to pay our bill. Only to find out the poor girl rang in my husbands pancakes wrong and the manager about had a meltdown. The manager was making a scene and telling us her staff doesn’t know how to do anything right. Very unprofessional of her in my opinion. After all that we will not be going back anytime soon… if ever.

I’ve been here twice and had bad experiences both times. I ordered a soup & sandwich combo. The soup was good. The bacon melt sandwich was good except for the size – definitely smaller than the palm of my hand. My wife asked about the blueberry crepes to see if they came with fresh blueberries, or if they were canned, and if they were covered in blueberry syrup. The waitress said they were fresh, but they were definitely canned, and drenched in the artificial blueberry syrup. The kids meal we got for free dwarfed the serving sizes of our meals. The frozen broccoli was good, but the mac and cheese tasted like craft box-mix. The waitress was friendly enough, but didn’t seem to care about empty glasses or being helpful in general. We kept our mouth shut about the mac and cheese and the miniature sandwich that costs $ 6.79, but we did say something about the crepes since we had asked about it beforehand. The manager came out and was a little rude, but took the(uneaten) crepes off the bill. I will say that the atmosphere is relaxing and clean, but there are plenty of other places like that that serve real food. Go here if you like canned foods, box mixes, lukewarm food, lukewarm service, and artificial flavorings. Don’t go here to eat hearty, healthy, have friendly service, or hot food.

We had breakfast here this morning; seated quickly and the server took our drink order and disappeared. She brought our coffee and water after awhile and took our orders. I had ordered a scrambled egg and got an over easy instead, which I normally like, but not runny, which is what I got(and had not ordered). The bacon was limp and I prefer a harder texture. The coffee and biscuits were good, so not all was lost. When we paid, I told the guy what had happened with the order being wrong and he gave us a couple of dollars off the bill.
